Since I’ve switched blogs and legacies, I’ve decided to release my McCoskey ladies (+ Ruby) out into the world. I tried to keep the CC at a minimum. 

These sims are very special to me, so all I ask is that you please do not edit their genetics! Hair and outfits of course is fine.

I know I haven’t posted in forever and tbh I’m kind of wondering if I should just start fresh at this point?? Like delete this blog and start a new simblr. And try and dedicate myself to being more active in the community. :c I don’t think I’m gonna continue the McCoskeys really at this point since it’s been so long... And I just started a new file that I think could be promising too. I dunno, I’m really just kind of on the fence with it all. Thoughts would be appreciated. ;u;”

One of these days I’ll post sims stuff again. . . We’re working on getting the place cleaned up since we’re planning on bringing our cat home from my husband’s mom’s and gonna try and get started on healthy habits in the new year before I really focus on anything else, but in the meantime if anyone’s playing Pocket Camp add me? <3

I’m also thinking about dusting off the ol’ animal crossing blog and doing a 365 Days of Animal Crossing challenge on the new year, but.... Not sure about all that yet. ;u;”

Just an FYI since I had to start a new save file there's gonna be a delay in the next posts!! ;u;" I haven't taken any photos of Bea's teen years yet and I have to re-add everyone I need back into the save and move them into homes and add new lots and yeah...

I've been working on it all weekend.

Campsite // 10:10 AM

Jazz: “Soooo, Bea, enjoy your trip to Granny’s house?”

Bea: “What? How did you know?”

Jazz: “Gabe told me you guys were at the tunnel. You know, I ended up over there once. Mom and Dad were so distracted because they thought it was the greatest idea to bring a newborn you camping.. They didn’t even notice I was gone until I told them they sucked for missing out.”

Bea: “Oh...”

Jazz: “No worries. I told them you went to bed early. They didn’t even notice.”

Bea: “Really? Thanks, that... That was really cool.”

Jazz: “Forget about it. Granny’s awesome, so I figured you’d be fine.”

Jazz: “...On the other hand, you could have been dead in a ditch.... Hm. I didn’t really think that through, did I? I’ll call next time.”

Bea: “....Yeah..... Thanks... For the thought....”

Bea couldn’t find the kind old hermit again, but she had left some rations to eat.

It was time to go home. Bea wasn’t sure what to make of her visit to the woods, but she decided she might give gardening a go some time. Maybe she’d become one with nature like Granny was...

Or maybe her parents would kill her for going off alone in the woods overnight.

Likely the latter.

Bea: “Granny? Are you here?”

Bea: “I.... Need to go home....”

(Extremely) Unwisely, Bea somehow ended up setting up camp at the old hermit’s home.

Bea: “Nature’s great, and your garden is lovely.... But I just don’t think I get all this as much as you do.”

Granny: “Once you’re a bit older, you should try and raise a plant or two of your own! Maybe you’ll grow to understand then.”

Bea: “Granny, why do you live out here like this? There’s so many bugs!”

Granny: “Oh, but the insects are part of what makes these woods great, Beatrice!”

Bea: “I... Don’t really get how.”

Granny: “Listen to the forest, Dear. Really listen. The sounds of the crickets singing their evening song... The shuffling of leaves as the deer and bears trot about.... Plants dancing to the wind’s timely tune. Every living thing in these woods work together to create something beautiful. You don’t see something like this every day in the city. You don’t get the fresh air, either.”

Bea: “Okay, but mosquitoes still suck.”
