sometimes i enjoy taking the sillygoofy characters and putting them in emotionally devastating situations. like perhaps for example gideon being too reckless with a monster fight post-jabberwock and kremy getting triggered into a panic attack. this is fun for me! :)

anyway here we go again.

so ive seen that you hc mics quirk is a mutation quirk, and i bring you some hcs of my own. the first one is that mutation quirks affect your ENTIRE BODY and SO MUCH more than the other types and cause more bodily (?) alterations that are related to the functionality of the quirk so that being said:

he has hearing loss and needs an aid, but he kinda just refuses to get it. he thinks it wouldnt look rad, but hes just nodding and smiling because he has no clue what you just said

all every kind of headphones he has ever owned have had noise cancelation

if he uses his quirk too much, he can get raspy

he has to get constantly vaccinated for the flu and stuff like that because, while it wont stop him from using his quirk, he could potentially start hurting or bleeding

he has HUGE LARGE lungs. like abnormally big lungs

he needs monthly medical checkups for-quirk-related things

I totally think he has some sort of weird secondary body mutation stuff going on.

Canonically he has extremely good like, pinpoint accurate sensitive hearing (he hears Jiro and Kota from the other side of the forest, in TUM he can tell the villains are exactly 31.6 meters away, with his vision compromised, just from the sound they're making). I think the hearing loss hc makes sense and I know a lot of people have it but I also think the implication that he has some sort of mutation that protects his hearing is very interesting so that's usually what I go for.

Ofc all his headphones have noise cancelling that man is totally obsessed about his audio quality. He complains at Aizawa because of the sound leakage in his garbage earbuds in Vigilantes. The noice cancellation also might protect his ears a little when he uses his quirk.

Big agree on the raspy voice after overuse I've thought of this before. He uses throat spray so I know it gives him a sore throat. I also think if he pushed it really hard he could probably end up tearing his vocal cords.

Cannot imagine the horror that would be his quirk-infused coughing if he got sick. He's taking every preventative measure available especially since he's a teacher and it's easy to pick up viruses in a school environment. He keeps that thing on him and by thing I mean hand sanitizer.

Absolutely he has huge lungs + probably expanded ribcage I think I've talked about that before actually. I mean have you Seen what goes on with his chest when he breathes in that's not normal what are this man's bones made of.

Checkups all the time but he still gets really nervous. He knows that if something's up he'll be out of commission for a while and he hates having to take time off.
