I mean Box's injuries were definitely more serious than just. getting sick from going out in the cold. Box had to be disqualified because she needed extensive treatment off of the island and if they were to wait for her to be better the competition would've been stalled by months. If Cammy were to get sick from going outside in the snowstorm they'd be out of commission for like. a couple of weeks at the longest and the others could just wait for them to get better before having another challenge. and that's assuming their stubborn ass would actually get some rest instead of competing while sick anyway

One thing I don't get with Glitter Force Doki Doki is Aguri's English name. All of the cures' English names start with the same letter as their Japanese names (with the exception of Alice but Glitter Force's Clara is kind of an oddball in general). And they did this with Aguri's surname, changing it from "Madoka" to "Miller." So how the hell did they get "Natalie" from "Aguri?" I guess they're phonetically similar but I feel like it would make more sense for the localizers to pull something like "Annie" out of their asses for her. Also Nagisa already took the name Natalie in the English dub of futari wa which I doubt the dokidoki localizers knew about but still! We can't have two cures named Natalie that's illegal

I kinda want her stance/fighting technique in magical girl form to be reminiscent of a baseball/softball player because her slendytubbies equivalent's weapon of choice is a baseball bat. In the Willoverse I think that she played softball at one point so the moment that staff was thrust into her hands she was panicking like crazy and her first instinct was to handle it like a bat. And I'd say she ain't half bat at it! See what I did there? tee hee

Season 1 Taco characterization thoughts because I'm writing about her at the moment.

I just wrote a scene where Taco has a discussion with A.D.A.M. about how MePhone gets away with everything he does because of favoritism/nepotism from Cobs and an OC who is also quite powerful. Taco automatically jumps to the conclusion that this is because the world is out to get her. When Adam shares his belief that this is simply because the TV industry is unfair, Taco becomes frustrated and brushes him off, asking herself why she expected him to understand her plight, even though they've been on the same page for the entire conversation.

Even though she and Adam are in agreement, Taco's mindset is still self-centered and victimizing. The first thing she thinks when she learns about the MePhone thing is something like "MePhone gets away with making my life hell because the world hates me and wants me to suffer," when the reality is that she was one of many people caught in the splash zone of MePhone's recklessness because the people around him allow him to be reckless.

When Adam makes a suggestion that challenges Taco's mindset, even though he isn't arguing with her and is only trying to make her feel better, she gets irritated. She can't admit that she's not just a helpless victim of a universe that wants her to be miserable, because admitting something like that would mean accepting that she, too, is a reckless, impulsive, and selfish person that gets away with everything, and that she needs to improve herself instead of running away from all her bad choices in the hopes that doing so will absolve her of all consequences.

This is the end of the post I guess. I like Taco but boy she is TROUBLED.
