Tiffany Day is incredible. Halo continues to be my favorite 26 album, can't even count how many times I've listened to it beginning to end no skips, and don't get me started on CONSTANTLY which is just so hard and so beautiful. keep doing your thing girl, I think your voice is amazing, production is raw and addictive, you do it all. thanks for keeping it going and moving and growing, you've got a real devotee in me

friends, fuck work and the man and all that, but when you give your two weeks notice please try not to saddle your coworker and friend with the worst designed underground detention system I've ever seen with a hydraulic report that got no less than 30 pages of comments from 3 different regulators. im not going to go to sleep tonight because i have to completely re-engineer your outlet control structures because you somehow didn't know that underground storage does not remove TSS and your water quality volumes are just bananas fucked up and how can a 900 foot flow path on asphalt have a 33 minute time of concentration, it's fine to be asleep at the wheel when you give notice but do your best not to start or god forbid submit anything
Y'all, I cannot stress enough... if you have any kind of mental health issue that can include manic episodes... you need, NEED, to have some kind of system in place that prevents you from making big impulse purchases.
I never thought I needed to, because I hate spending money, but... it happened. And there's no refunds. So now I have to somehow sell what I bought (at a loss!) or I'm just out $1k because I woke up with mania today. When my medicine kicked in just a few hours later I cried. I still cry every half hour or so...
Please, PLEASE, find some way to protect yourself from this.

I should overnight some pizza dough and bake something, every time i get that feeling that every nerve ending in my body is raw exposed and being seared off a good bake tends to center the energy, i have a lot of apricots for some reason so that's the move i think. turnover or galette or something

you can corner every angle of mental illness and still always be on the verge of destroying your life and that's the part that's just exhausting, "good behavior" is a herculean effort to force especially all the time, you got given a fucking broken brain and that's no excuse to act badly or let things slip so you bury and hide and talk to yourself because your therapist can't even know this stuff but your psychiatrist does and she's worried but we've maxed out the doses and this is the best you can do and it's all willpower from here, whether you end up in a hospital or earnestly smiling in photos at your child's birthday is just straight up up to you
this i guess is what feels unfair, this is the epitome of personal responsibility, you've done everything you can and it is still ultimately your fault when the guard rails fail
also you know since i speak on chemicals a lot, probably the only reason i eat food is thc. you function largely in the medicated manic space you have no need for sleep or food and you gotta find some angles to correct that. i guess some part of me would like to see just how thin i could get but getting light headed standing up after forgetting to eat for 48 hours gets tiresome and i don't wanna collapse on my boss
