im back again with another long ass rant but this is important for the sake of AN ACTUAL HUMAN BEING. so i noticed dan had painted his nails and i was furious. not because nail polish is a “girl thing” like when was it ever? i was mad because he never wanted to do it. you know why he did it? you guys sent sent messages, tweeted, commented “pAiNT YoUr nAiLs” like he’s a fucking Barbie doll. how long has it been since you started pressuring him? 4 years? in that time he has said many excuses, one being “i just don’t want to”. he’s bad nail polish for a while that someone gave him. if he honestly wanted to do it, he would’ve done it a while ago. he did this just to shut your asses up so you stop pressuring him. you can’t start saying “omg he painted his nails he’s breaking society’s stereotypes” or “he’s so gay hahaha” because he had done it just for you guys. painting his nails probably never came into his mind. saying that he looks happy is just a mask. when i saw a post saying that, i wanted to throw everything across the room. the thing you should take on from this is that DAN IS A LIVING BREATHING HUMAN, NOT A BARBIE. HE HAS FEELINGS AND WHEN YOU PULL DUMB SHIT LIKE STALKING THEM AND GOING INTO THE AIRPORT PROBABLY HURTS. so in conclusion, just leave him and phil alone.
PREACH!!!
All he ever wanted as young kid

Okay, I'm tired of hearing about cool kids and popular kids and stuff like that cause its usually the minority of the schools kids. Also its usually the kids who are the most inconsiderate in the school with few exceptions. "I wanna be like the cool kids" "Oh I wish I was a popular kid" Is what I hear from a lot of great and kind hearted people. it honestly pisses me off. Why would you wanna be like the kids who yes everyone knows their name but they are vicious and inconsiderate and you an do so much better. why do we idolize the asshole. why do we label the ones who exclude people all the time for their differences in looks, race, gender or even option! How does that make them cool?!. People just know their name and want to be there basically so they have the pick of the bunch and people will know them. but the cool kids aren't even that popular. By excluding the majority of the school from being their friends they aren't truly popular. count how many friends you have because you don't outcast everyone around you like they do. look at how many people actually not only know your name but also know you as a person. i know multiple kids in Band, Art, theater, ect. and that's cause i don't put a simple label on myself and then stay in that label and confine my actions to that. Its cause if you realize that your not just a "art kid" "Science nerd" "Math geek" or any other label and if you try going out of that comfort zone in the label then damn you could try anything and turn out to be good at that while also making tons of friends. If you just smile at everyone, especially kids who are quiet and always alone, you'll see so many smiles and make so many friends. so why? why would you wanna be a cool kid who degrades and puts down those wonderful people instead of making friends with them. If you stop wishing you could be them and start taking action to get to know everyone around you then soon more people will not only know your name, they'll know you. Since I have taken this approach I have found plenty of people saying hi and seeing me stand out in the crowd and multiple people have started to call me cool and popular. At first I didn't even realize it but even tho not EVERYONE knows me I have gotten to the point where I can always find a friend and I can say this: Who needs the cool kids? All us nerds, all of us misfits, outcasts, geeks and weirdos, all of us just need to stop idolizing the jerks and start reaching out to others like our group and unite us all so we can all forget about trying to be cool and just being that nerd no one knows. Only once we start helping the different groups and connecting can we leave labels and we can be ourselves and we can be seen as us instead of our label. Trust me, it works.
You said it yourself
You said it yourself we are the nerds, the weirdos , the losers. You told me before you met me you never knew so many of us conjured in the performing arts hall. You didn't even know so many of us were down there. So many of us were hidden from view and you know why? Its because we didn't want you to see us. You and all the other kids who might now understand. Cause down there we can be ourselves. Loud weird and talkative. Like the losers we are but when we act like that in the performing arts all the other kids there don't judge and think we are loud and weird. When something totally obscure happens the other kids there laugh it off cause that is our normal. We see each other's colors burst through when we are together. Because like you said when we come out of that hallway we are stared at. You witnessed it. Like you told me, they stare at us like we don't belong here. Like we shouldn't be here. They look at us like we are prey, like we are creatures from another continent on display you said it yourself. Cause the majority sees us being us and casts judgmental looks and disapproving glances. Cause the majority if they were to walk down there would see it as a place of chaos when we see it as paradise where everyone can be themselves. And you know you didn't notice us because once we walk through those hall doors we hide the colors and cover it with the normal grays. We hide the colors so we can keep them alive.and those disapproving glances, demeaning words from the kids on the other side of the hall doors, those looks saying you don't belong here. Those are the exact reason the majority of our minority have mental health problems! That's why when others that are oblivious to the kids who meet in the performing arts hall, when they talk to us, we flinch. That's why we are continuously anxious that's why we repeat the names they call us as we stare at the ceiling at 2 am. That's why we are not confident being ourselves among-st anyone but the small group we trust. And most of all that's why we are always constantly worrying about one friend or another. Worrying they may escape the place they don't belong the wrong we. Worrying that the people with color will try to escape life all together. Worrying that they will commit suicide. That's why the theater kids start cuddle puddles and give friends platonic kisses on cheeks. That's why band kids are always ready for group hugs and are always ready to give out encouraging words. That's why choir kids are ready to serenade a crying friend with their favorite song and are always ready to help them use their voice to express through song. The casters of those looks. The speakers of those hurtful words. They will never truly know the person behind the creature they see. Because performing is why helps us survive. Because in the back of our minds we all know we don't belong here. We know high school is just our buffer so we play a part and get lost in our heavens. Our performances are our coping. Because if you see us perform, whether on stage, risers, or a field, you won't see the creature from school but you also won't see us. You'll see a character that we've worked hard to embody. You’ll see someone made from a noone. We are merely a character in a play, a drummer in the line or a beautiful singer among-st our fellow performers. And thats how we like it.Whats even better is some of us never stop playing characters while in your view. Some of us take on characters each day to feel secure in the place we don't belong.we play a character that does belong. And those characters are the ones who see you stares, your looks and smile before continuing on.because most of us are just waiting for our chance to leave the performance that we call high school and break out of that constant character. Cause yes we are the weirdos, the outcasts, the wannabes, the geeks, We are the losers, and we are just waiting for the chance to start our real life. (rant inspired by something my ‘jock/badboy bf said to me)
Mushu's feminism rant
Hey y'all I gotta say something. I'm a feminist. Now before you all go on and say 'oh but mushy your a male Dragon!' Hear me out. I was awakened to awaken a bigger stronger Dragon cause of one mistake and when I told the spirits of the ancestors I could do it they all laughed just like they didn't believe in Mulan! But sometimes the stereotypical choice messes up! So when the stone Dragon didn't come I got it covered. There was no equality there. No-one believed in me cause I was a scrawny Dragon that messed up once. Once. And cause Milan was a girl they didn't believe she could do anything. As a girl she sucks. We all know this. She needed the equality feminism fights for cause if it was already equal she wouldn't have had to cover as a guy when she was actually good at something. So I saw that she could do it and I encouraged her! And she did great! Brought the load of honor to the family and became a war hero along with being praised by the freaking emperor! And its all cause the scrawny Dragon who couldn't do anything. Me. Belived she could and coached her through it. So yes I'm a dragon and I'm a feminist and PROUD. Cause everyone needs that equality. Men wouldn't be told to man up or grow a pair, woman wouldn't be oppressed cause they are weaker or just cause of body differences, and small dragons wouldn't be told to do small tasks like awaken the' bigger better' dragons to do a job and take all the glory! Okay I'm out. See you
