the human brain is so cool, if you're tired and stressed enough, your brain will go, "don't worry, I got you" and shadows will start moving

Current view from Integrity's solar array. Artemis II is currently below low earth orbit. We haven't seen this view since Apollo 17. All of humanity, except for four astronauts, are contained in this image.
Date: April 2, 2026
We all said “wowwwwww” at this shot of the Artemis II separation

the downside to being a space lover is that if you're too hyped about something you start to look like one of those weirdos who likes the united states military or government
New York City ballet production of Midsummer Nights Dream
The fact this isn't a painting is a testament to one of the greatest feats of set design and production I've ever seen.
My god just look at this! The lighting, set design, photography... I've just never seen anything like it.
hmmm

The second part of the Harkonnen triptych (Piter/Feyd). In my initial perception, Piter was likable (by the Baron's standards) and something of a whore. A reinterpretation was probably intended to come later, but it hasn't happened yet.
No more gothic vampires, bring me dieselpunk vampires. Pull off that gas mask, rip a man’s throat out and get blood all over your filthy trench coat as you gorge on the victims of No Mans Land, utterly unfazed by the 40 odd bullets still lodged in your flesh.
oh my god I just found out why the entire "minority men aren't oppressed for being men theyre oppressed for [insert other minority]" bothers me. It sets men as the default, again. It frames men as a default and allows people to skip over and perpetrate bigoted ideals with little backlash while dorectly going against intersectionality. Racism against a black man is " just racism", youre not allowed to talk about it outside of that. Marking something as "just" racism, "just" transphobia, "just" abelsim ect lessens the idea of it. Its JUST the default, after all.
Intersectionality states that all facets of someones identity and situation leads to the type of oppression they face, you cannot seperate one thing from another. Race, sex, gender identity, wealth, where you live, sexuality, health. None of these can be seperated when talking about challeneges and bigotry an indiviual faces. Setting bigotry against minority men as a default perpetuates and upholds patriarchal bigotry and makes room for microagressions and macroagressions to be diminished and overlooked as we've seen time and time again. This idea that "man" excludes someone from facing targeted bigotry somehow is wrong, men of color are opressed on the axis of being MEN of color, same woth disabled men and trans men and intersex men. You can't just dismiss bigotry on the basis of gender or sex.
If you dont want men set as the default, stop setting them as the default.
"I simply do not believe that one aspect of myself can possibly profit from the oppression of any other part of my identity.

"Within the lesbian community I am Black, and within the Black community I am a lesbian. Any attack against Black people is a lesbian and gay issue, because I and thousands of other Black women are part of the lesbian community. Any attack against lesbians and gays is a Black issue, because thousands of lesbians and gay men are Black. There is no hierarchy of oppression.
"I cannot afford the luxury of fighting one form of oppression only. I cannot afford to believe that freedom from intolerance is the right of only one particular group. And I cannot afford to choose between the fronts upon which I must battle these forces of discrimination, wherever they appear to destroy me. And when they appear to destroy me, it will not be long before they appear to destroy you."
