Honestly, everyone! I’m just ancient in Tumblr years and busy with querying my novel at the moment, so I just kinda awkwardly sit in the corner and admire everyone else’s creativity. I think part of it is that I didn’t really get into the fandom until the Adler era, so I feel inadequate about my knowledge of lore from the earlier games.

But I know more about East Germany than I have any right to considering I was born after the wall fell, so if anyone ever needs some GDR fact checking, hmu. :)

Yeah...I only seriously got into his stuff a few months ago--one of the love interests in my novel is loosely based on Adler so naturally I had to go back to his roots, and had the "oh no he's hot" epiphany. And then learned about all his activism and went "oh no so is his soul." He seems like one of the few truly unproblematic people to have ever walked this earth. I'm just relieved that he passed peacefully in his sleep at home. If he couldn't be immortal, that's the next best thing.
