Once upon a time, in a sunny kingdom of Altea lived a royal family: King Alfor, Queen Melenor and four year old princess Allura. The Queen was once again pregnant. All royal healers told the king, that this time it was a boy, a possible future general of their country. Or maybe a genius scientist and alchemist.

After a week of unexpected storms the Queen got seriously sick and nothing could help her. Scared for the fate of mother and child Alfor searched his entire kingdom for even small glimpse of hope.

Finally in the dark cave, in the middle of a cold deep lake was a rock and on that rock was found a beautiful blue flower. Legends said it could either kill or heal all persons illnesses. The king took this risk and luckily in a matter of hours Melenor was all good and ready to give birth.

The boy was born healthy and strong. Dark skin like everyone from their bloodline. But his short curly hair were glowing blue just like the petals of the moon flower and his soft little body was peppered with small markings.

The royal family was more than happy. Allura loved watching her new brother and even gave him a plushie of a blue lion. Lions were familiars - guardians of their ancestors and a honorable animals.

Happiness didn’t last long. During the night someone stole young prince and disappeared with him. No matter how hard the king and citizens tried to find him theree were no luck. As a sign of grief every court member dyed their hair in white-blue as a tribute to lost prince.

Meanwhile in the middle of the forest in the ruins of an old Altean castle in the highest tower was crying little bundle of cloth. Purple-skinned hand pressed a flusk on baby’s cheek to catch a glowing tear.

“Hey there, stop this shrieking right now, it’s very annoying. And we are going to spend a long time together...” person paused and looked at hand embroidered handkerchief tucked with child in silky cloth “prince Lancelot of Altea”

Always thought that Artemis would look cool with braids and it’d be more comfortable for hunting and all this stuff.

Made a huge child import in gods pantheon too. Like mother like daughter.

As a fan of PJO I love mythology (even though don’t know it really well) and have my own alternate god world

This is my take on Nyx, the deity of the night and darkness, one of the first divine personas, daughter of Chaos. Mother for numerous titans/gods/whoever-it-could-be.

As for all early gods she is quite cruel and constantly angry, which is logical when you have so much kids. The one to hold the grudge for eternity and buy one black coffee in MacAuto.
