- Playing video games together, and knowing that he’ll never let you win because he knows you’re capable of beating him all on your own, and he won’t ever pretend with you
- Laying his head on your lap while you read and absentmindedly running your hands softly through his curls
- Him holding your hands as he teaches you how to skateboard while he walks beside you, and instinctively wrapping his arms around you when you wobble or lose your balance
- Screenshotting his snaps to you and using them as proof to the other boys that he does, in fact, smile for the camera because he can’t help but express his happiness when he’s talking to you
- Weaving his fingers between yours when you’re in the midst of a crowd, or a group of fans so you know that, no matter how overwhelming or scary it might seem, he won’t let go, and he’ll always be right beside you
- Staying up until all hours of the night, laying side by side and sharing secrets that nobody else knows, because you’re the person he confides in, and vise versa- you trust each other wholeheartedly
- Him never giving you the AUX cord when you’re driving through L.A. because he knows you’ll just put their EP’s on repeat while screaming out the window and random passersby: “THIS IS MY BOYFRIEND’S SONG! GO BUY IT ON ITUNES!”
- Having an amazing group chat with the Avery Family that Jack isn’t invited to where his mom and sisters send baby photos of Jack and tell embarrassing stories from his childhood without him knowing
- Playing you every single rough draft of songs he’s written, even the one’s he doesn’t love- because he values your opinion and knows that you’ll always give the best advice you can, including revising the songs together until they’re the best the can be
- Kissing your forehead before every show and whispering in your ear just moments before they take the stage: “I’ll be right back.” Winking, and wrapping his pinky around yours so that you know that no matter what happens, you’re his world, and he’ll always come back to you
