Did you know that once again, it's based on something I posted to Tumblr forever ago?

Cats That Made Me Transgender (a comprehensive list of all the animated felines that gave me gender envy as a child.)
Firstly, and perhaps most influentially:
Kovu, from the Lion King 2: Simba's Pride. This is one that's pretty commonly shared amongst queer furries, and for pretty obvious reasons. He's hot, he's a Bad But Soft Boy™️, he's got a sick scar, he's got emo hair. Whole package right here.
Next, also common but less talked about:
Thomas O'Malley from Aristocats. This is one my partner mentioned when I talked about making this list. He's world-worn, scrappy but intelligent, flirtatious in the most casual way, and very easy going. Vibes are immaculate.
Third, one I have never seen mentioned before but I refuse to NOT include him:
Periwinkle from Blue's Clues. I can't explain this one. He's just such a classic little boy & when I was 5 I wanted to be him so fucking bad.
Finally, perhaps my most obscure inclusion on this list:
Baby Jaguar from Go, Diego, Go! Again, I can't explain it, but when I was five I wanted to be a boy cat so bad so that me and this jaguar could be friends.
Thanks for coming to my ted talk.
