Being trans is so cool

I love the fact my whole family disowned me and I lost 3 close friends after I came out!

Getting kicked out and having people I trusted and love turn me away when I needed a place to stay was the best!

It’s so great when I get harassed no matter what bathroom I use!

No one will talk to me at school because they think I’m a freak!

Getting misgendered and deadnamed even after correcting someone multiple times is the best feeling in the world!

I have to pay an $1,000 paint job on my car because someone keyed tr*nny into it!

If you think being trans is cool, that totally pisses me off! It absolutely sucks! I wish I was cis!

I’ve cried more nights in my life about not being able to be myself more than Tucutes have over being “misgendered” as the “guys” have their tits out in a dress and tights, rocking some heels screaming “NOTICE ME!”

Genders not a social construct.

If it was, it would be easy to change from learning.

If it was, conversion therapy would work.

If it was, trans people wouldn’t have dysphoria.

If it was, everyone would be able to pick and choose what gender they wanted to be. (THATS NOT HOW IT WORKS)

If it was, that would mean being trans is a choice.

Gender is not a social construct, gender roles are. Get it the fuck right.

so there is a new tag on twitter and it’s making me absolutely angry

not only does it not make sense because ”trans” doesn’t look like anything specific- transgenders/transsexuals just look like people- but it also makes all trans people look bad.

it’s full of non-dysphorics who claim that they represent us and that this is what we all look like.

it’s just gonna strengthen the popular assumption that we are all just a bunch of emo kids who “”decide to be trans”” as a sign of rebellion and not because we have dysphoria

Let’s Talk.

To all those people who don’t think I’m correct in saying that those who do not put an effort to pass or be masculine/feminine(whichever is your true identity), I must say this- if you are in a situation where trying to pass can cause suspicion, if you are in a household that does not support you and will not let you “cut your hair” or “dress that way” then that is ENTIRELY different than what these trans-trenders are doing. I know what it’s like to not be safe in an environment, thats not the people I’m talking about- I’m talking about the people who push boundaries, make it everyone's business and proudly pronounce how trans they are without a care in the world and everyone too afraid to tell them “uhm...no” because of the fear of being “offensive”. I personally don’t care who I offend if their actions are affecting millions of lives and misleading thousands of confused trans kids.
