Taylor saying in NYTs interview “There’s corners of my fanbase who are gonna take things to a really extreme place” Why did she say that it's just only gonna bring more and more hate to gaylor/kaylor then it already does this "corner of the fandom" has been used to mock and hate on Gaylor/Kaylors for a very long time and now she say this and people are gonna assume that it's about us and bring more hate then there already it.

This corner of the internet does not try to figure out which dude a song is about. I don't see how this comment relates to us.

People will hate on this corner of the internet no matter what we do. This was not a dagger in our back and I think we should encourage her to express her frustration with fans all she wants to be honest.

I don’t think Taylor Swift is manically trying to dominate the industry by topping all the charts. The industry values money and status while the people value her humanity. That’s the tightrope she walks. The industry uses numbers to rank an artist’s impact which decides how important they are to the machine. Taylor’s gentleness and humanity ONLY survives and serves the collective if she is backed by undeniable power. If she’s at the top, she has leverage. She’s the ONLY artist taming the beast. Plus, dominance in that industry is safety - for her, for her family, for her team, for her long-term plans.

Also, I applaud her for trying to show women how to stop flattening themselves, how to hold longevity in a field, and how to harness your energy and own your work. She will be why the music industry is safer for women, kids, the queer community, and even men in the long run, but first, she has to be the blueprint and expose the cracks in the industry by mastermind design.

I think her long-term goal is irreversible change that will outlive her (a real fucking legacy) and I think she knows that no one else can do it the way she can with how much knowledge and wisdom she’s gained over the years. And I think she WANTS to do this. I think she’s a genius for creating a webbing of support from other artists in different parts of the industry. This bolsters her plan and protects her. Artists who have challenged the industry alone have been subjected to terrible demise.

She’s sucking the poison out to reclaim authorship of the narrative: Burning down the old identity imposed by contracts, media, fan expectations and making space to re-define herself entirely on her terms while shifting what it means to be an artist and exposing the weakest parts of the industry so we can have more of an open discussion about what it could be instead. Remember: the crowd is her king so if she lures us into a position where we want her to burn the old Taylor down, she has to do it. And if she burns the old Taylor down, the industry as we know it goes down with her. Then the crowd will need a hero who has solutions and there will be Taylor and the New Romantics with a plan to take back the castle and make the kingdom feel brand new.

While I have been vocal about wanting to see her plan come into fruition faster, everything happens in perfect timing. Our society is learning how to come together in a lot of ways without the help of anyone but our neighbors and I think in the long-run we will be a better society for that. Plus, she’s an astrology girlie and I know she knows when to make a move and when to hold the line. Anyway, cheers to her politically-silent, capitalistic sleeper-cell spy era! She’s sacrificing speed and instant audience gratification for the ultimate leverage, in my opinion. Sometimes you’re doing more work behind the scenes than people know and you’ve just got to let them bitch about you before the truth comes out because when the truth comes out, it’s quiet 🤫

Play/Movie referenced: A Streetcar Named Desire/Memoirs

This quote is from the movie A Streetcar Named Desire, which was adapted from a Tennessee Williams play. Which, funnily enough, takes place in New Orleans.

The quote is said by the main character Blanche. Early in the film, Blanche says "I know I fib a good deal. After all, a woman's charm is 50% illusion". While she is not explicitly queer, many have speculated about her sexuality. The way she is written, it feels as though she is experiencing comphet - she continuously seeks out attention from men, but never seems emotionally invested in the men she attempts to capture the attention of.

The quote in the anon message is a quote from Memoirs by Tennessee Williams.

(There's a line in Streetcar which belongs to Blanche. Mitch has told her he's thought that she was "straight" and she has replied, "What is straight? A line can be straight, or a street, but the human heart, oh, no, it's curved like a road through mountains!")

This line does not appear in the play or the movie, Instead, in the film the conversation is:

Mitch: "...I was fool enough to believe you were straight"

Blanche: "Who told you I wasn't straight? My loving brother-in-law and you believed him?"

It is unclear why Tennessee says that the line is Blanche's. He mentions it after talking about his experience talking to a man who claimed he was straight, until he finally admitted to being interested in Tennessee.

Interesting note: Vivien Leigh (Blanche in the film) also played Ophelia in the film adaptation of Hamlet.

The quote comes from Seven Husbands by TJR, a book that many Gaylors have connected to Taylor. The quote follows Evelyn talking about the end of her second marriage. Hearing this story, the interviewer brings up her own pending divorce and refers to divorce as a loss. Evelyn responds with the quote above, and then follows it up with:

"I didn't feel heartbroken when Don left me, I simply felt like my marriage had failed. And those are very different things."

This anon message is making the distinction between love and marriage. This divorce from Don was discussed as a transactional conversation regarding their image and careers... similar to how we have heard prenup talks discussed between Taylor and her fiancé.

I find the reference to a front door compared to the use of a side door very interesting... In the first song, the muse doesn't return... because it is not a movie, it's real life.

I also find it interesting that the singing of baby, what about the ending? in ITWAM is sang very similarly to and I didn't like the ending in exile.

This message reconfirms my feelings regarding the "to a friend" post received on April 4th 2024... the muse is pulling away... and seems to be pulling out of the plan that was paved for the last 3 years. Bailed before the ending. Changed their mind. So she is bailing... out the side door. attempting to leave without notice. Avoiding the ending she's seen before.

This message is interesting... I do think it is to us. This message came over a month after the last.

But why would the pillow be ours? Perhaps, this is reflecting on the past that Taylor has pulled away from her relationship with her fanbase... once inviting her fans into her home, sending them messages, liking their posts... this was happening less, and less, and less, and less.

But while it feels like she has been distant, she has still been here... watching... taking note... responding in letters she never sent/

In evermore, she refers to writing letters addressed to the fire, messages that she knew she would never send, but had to say.

In FOTS, she refers to writing letters, explaining that now she knows better....

She has written letters to us... written with the intent to send them to us... but she isn't sure if that was the best decision.

We have caught up to where I started sharing my thoughts initially. I will be pasting my initial posts here, changing anything that feels appropriate with hindsight

As a St. Louisan, I have to point out that there is so much Taylor lore in St. Louis (not really THAT much but 🤷🏻‍♀️)

Marjorie and that extended family is from St. Charles (suburb of St. Louis). She used to spend thanksgivings in St. Louis.

Then the Rebekah Harkness (nee West) connection which obviously.

And Karlie. Karlie is a Webster Groves girlie (suburb of St. Louis) and comes home frequently. She was in town not too long ago after a devastating tornado destroyed parts of the city. And a few months ago for the unveiling of a street unofficially named after her.

I feel like the idea that she is using the quote to send a message between the lines (what will be destroyed can be rebuilt else where). A possible coming out and damage to relationships. A tantrum thrown by certain people after the announcement of a big move…

It also COULD be a direct reference to the city in some way. Could be Karlie. Could validate the movie rumors.

All this to say, I think it’s a duel message. Possibly pointing to both the message within the quote as well as the as the city specifically.

But I can’t for the life of me figure out those dash marks.

A Deep Dive into 🌋 Messages: part 1

Hello!

I have been missing the Gaylor analysis that used to take over my life, so I have decided to go through and try to reassess all of the 🌋 messages that @spade-riddles has received.

While I think that some messages will be muddied with the gift of hindsight, I think having the context of what followed these messages could also add value.

Some messages I will be referencing my own posts from when the messages were new. They will be linked. I have not consulted any other analysis or response to these messages for this post.

I will be reading and analyzing these messages under the assumption that Taylor sent them herself. I acknowledge that we do not have proof that these are messages from her.

Let's begin.

Date Received: September 12th 2023 Event that day: Taylor Attended the MTV VMAs - Won best pop for Anti-Hero

Song referenced: You're on Your Own Kid

While pulling lyrics from YOYOK, the post also references an idea found across proverbs from around the world. Leaves inevitably falling back to their roots can carry many meanings... remembering your origins, being grounded or humbled, returning home.

The summer is over. But I still yearn... this yearning is ever present. But at some point, I will return back to my old self, my true self. I do not think the "we will be together again" is inherently a love interest... I think Taylor writes to herself a lot, and I think that could be the case here.

Interesting note: Taylor and Travis's relationship started in the Summer of 2023. The idea that she has gone through the summer, and heading into the Fall still feels a deep sense of yearning and nostalgia...

Harder to analyze without a compass. My interpretation is: every piece of the puzzle that I am placing is building the sense of peace I feel. I think the specific words being used are important (as always)

So, even though there are forces attempting to destroy my peace, it prevails... even though it is difficult to maintain.

I think the line patience, patience. prepare for what's coming. is a warning to us. We may get the ending that we are expecting, but not for some time... and in the meantime, things will be rough.

Admittedly, I struggle with this message.

Curtains are closed in winter to keep in heat... hers do not close, they drop. Dropping the curtain signals the end of the show (or at least an intermission).

This message was sent almost 3 months before the surprise announcement of TTPD. Notably, during the TTPD release (and throughout the tour, really) Taylor was not as engaged with her audience (online) as she was with the release of Midnights.

Could this message be signaling the end of an era (midnights) and the start of a more cold and distant phase in her life? Is she saying that, although this new frozen frost has fallen atop me, I am still here under it all?

Song referenced: possibly Just Pretend by BAD OMENS?

I will not pretend to know who this would be referring to...

It is sharing this idea of bringing her down to someone else's level... using a painting as a metaphor, Taylor being the picture, the subject being the frames in which she sits.

If Karlie is the subject, could this be referring to the heat she faced for not immediately speaking out against Israel?

Are the cracks in the glass or the frame? If the cracks are in the glass... then this would be an interesting connection:

The reason I said that she could be referencing Just Pretend is the line i will meet you down at the bottom. While the lyrics are not exact (I can wait for you down at the bottom), they are extremely similar. The wording "down at the bottom" stood out to me. This song is specifically about someone waiting for someone, unable to move on. It feels fitting.

I also think that this message calls to mind the lyrics: And baby, for you, I would fall from graceJust to touch your face

This idea of ruining your reputation to be with someone...

This message is simply sad, and feels rather self explanatory.

Now, I do not know whether the line the fire in my heart is burning out is referring to her love for the person she's longing for is diminishing, or if the fight she has in her is dwindling...

It reminds me of Peter:

The last lines being:

Is devastating in the context of a love your burn for never returning.

Song referenced: Sweet Nothing, New Years Day

The idea of making a toast comes up several times in her discography (TIWWCHNT, End Game, The Man) as well as referring to the Love Interest in New Years Day as the 'toast of the town'. I did not consider this a reference to a song.

I read the line They say the end is coming (in the song, and in the message) as her team telling her that her career is bound to run out of steam... that she cannot stay at the mountain top for forever. This could also more specifically be that if she plans to come out or reveal her true self, that it will end her career.

And she is saying well yet, if the end is coming, maybe then we can be together... and these milestones of time passing are ones we will get to spend together. The jagged edges being the push back she gets for making whatever big moves she has in mind that brings along the end.

Poem referenced: The reticent volcano keeps by Emily Dickinson

I have linked the poem as well as a helpful analysis above.

I will be analyzing the message, not the entire poem. The message includes the first stanza of the three stanzas in the poem.

The pillar of gaylorism is that Taylor is holding a big secret. This poem confirms this belief.

Dickinson is admiring the ability of the powerful volcano to hold its secrets within. Reticent meaning not revealing one's thoughts or feelings readily. The plan is ongoing, always in motion as the magma bubbles under the surface, but the volcano will not reveal this secret to anyone.

I think the line that confuses me most is confided are his projects pink. I do not know what meaning the color pink holds in this line. But overall.. I believe this message reveals why this emoji is being used, and what the underlying message is... there is a secret brewing.

I know I said I would not analyze the whole poem... but I do think it is telling that in it, Dickinson is chastising humans for being unable to keep secrets like nature can.

We have established that the Volcano holds a secret... a plan that it withholds from everyone. The eruption. This message refers to the elements of an eruption. Smoke. Heat. Ash. Lava.

Has this part of my plan, has the way I have been acting, change how you see me? At the time, Taylor was seen at game after game. Even when she went to the Golden Globes with Keleigh, all some people talked about was Travis. They saw her as a girlfriend.

This is not the phrase. The phrase is 'reduced to ask', which is described as meaning "to force someone or something into a particular state or condition, usually a worse one. "

There is no explanation for "deduced to ash". If we believe this is Taylor, this would be purposeful. So what would deduced mean? "to reach an answer or a decision by thinking carefully about the known facts" So rather than this be something that is done to her, it is a conclusion she has reached due to the state of the world. another definition would be "draw as a logical conclusion".

I should've known... lava is a cruel kind of fools gold

Lava = karma/revenge. I obviously do not know the context... but we know that Taylor does a lot out of spite. To me, this says that she should have known that seeking revenge (something that to her, feels like the ultimate prize) would kick her in the ass... in this case, ruin her image to prove her point.

I went on a deep dive of this extremely long poem... but I feel like understanding the whole of it is not necessary... I think she cherry picked lines from stanzas for her message... perhaps the 'prisoner' of it all is relevant... but not the whole story.

Big assumptions here, but this calls me back to Taylor buying back her masters... She announced her purchase of her masters on May 30th, 2025, but we know the photoshoot she did for that announcement was in feb/mar of 2025.

I am wondering how long the talks took... and I wonder if this has any connection to Scott...

We all have an idea of what her relationship with Scott is like... especially if you have read the unhinged email to Dan Dymtrow...

Scott has used money to get Taylor where she is today... and i would not be surprised if he leverages that in some way against her... strangling who she is for the sake of making more money... telling her to be a certain way (miss americana doc)... or the whole situation between them and tattoos....

For a long time, people have theorized that this song was about this trip. Especially the "Look up" line with the middle right picture, and the line "you can feel it on the way home".

In this poem, Lowell says:

The end of the line in the message is the final lines of the poem. The poem is very gay.

Lowell uses music as a metaphor for the feelings she is experiencing.

There are so few that stir these feelings in me... I knew I was queer, I knew I was capable of having these feelings for women, but I rarely meet someone that stirs this within me. This stirring of feelings makes me tremble (reminds me of my hands are shaking from holding back from you).

At the end, Lowell begs:

To a belief in beauty through all wrongs. O stay your hand, and leave my heart its songs!

Mind you, this was first published in 1912. The idea of being queer was wrong was persistent. But this was beautiful, and she's asking her to believe in this beauty regardless of society's judgement... Stay you hand... I think this is literal. Touch me and let me keep this feeling you stir in me.

I do not know the intention of the message (obviously), but I read this as... perhaps the person anon is pining for is pulling away?

I find it interesting that this very much feels like a "preparing to come out" message, and yet... here we are almost two years later.

Her hand is on the door knob... there is an intention to walk through the door (come out) and it isn't the act of coming out and saying it that scares her... it is the conversations that will follow.

If T were to come out... it will never just get swept under the rug... every single song and relationship and move will be heavily scrutinized. She isn't afraid to say her truth (she's known it for a long time), she's afraid of the reaction.

There is also a possible connection here to the Truman Show, which Gaylors have connected to her for years (especially during Eras). Walking out the door, out of the insular world she has lived in, and out into the unknown. From safety, into danger.

And when she gets close to walking through the door, that sinking feeling sets in... the fear.

For some reason... this makes me think of Travis... There has been a long standing thought that Travis queer himself, and possibly in a relationship with Ross.

I am not sure what the "a cross in poetry" would refer to, but if they were "born from the same story", both in comphet driven industries... queer and closeted... if their story is interconnected, and that they need each other to come out to the world in the way that Chely Wright envisioned.

The next Waxing Gibbous after this message was October 11th, however it was 60% illuminated... 58% feels like a very specific number, and why would she be precise, but wrong?

Now, it could be the source that I am looking at is inaccurate (I also saw 59% listed somewhere) but I have never seen anything say 58% for this date.

The dates I could find for 58% illumination was February 5, 2025 & November 16, 2025 - neither of which she was seen in public. The date that repeatedly appeared was March 11, 1958 - I have no idea why... She was also not seen that day in 2025.

So no, anon... I cannot pinpoint the date.
