Shielding
©2020 T. Seafyre
A shield can surround an individual, group, or object and can be used for a variety of purposes. Shielding is done through one’s intent, will, and visualization.
The shield can be as simple, or as elaborate, as you wish to construct it. A shield can be solid or mesh. Your imagination is the limit. However, the more elaborate the shield the more energy that is needed to maintain it.
A shield can last a few minutes, a month, or even be permanent.
You can have specific filters in place which determine what you wish to let in or block out thus giving you the ability to customize the shield for each situation.
A shield can be crafted to be dynamic. By dynamic I mean that it takes care of itself by self-cleaning, self-maintaining, self-regulating, and by being constantly alert and vigilant.
Note: A shield crafted to keep out “destructive energies” does not distinguish between positive or negative destructive energy and will not let in any destructive energy. Healing, a positive destructive energy, will not penetrate if there is not a filter in place to allow it to do so. Creating a filter that will let healing energy in can be done for a specific healing session only or for all healing energy for the duration of the shield.
To Create A Shield
Determine the purpose of the shield.
Determine whomever, or whatever, it is being crafted for.
Determine the length of time the shield needs to work. Determine the type of filters, if any, that you wish to put in place within the shield.
Shield visualization should include how it looks and works.
Charge the shield so it will work for the determined length of time.
Shield Maintenance
Maintenance is necessary if the shield is to be used for a longer than 24 hours.
Scan for repairs daily: check for cracks, holes, weaknesses, and thin areas. If any are found, repair them by using the original visualization (how it looks, works, and filters) and/or see the damaged areas being fixed.
Charging a long-term shield needs to be done daily in the beginning. Once the shield has enough energy it can be done less frequently.
If you crafted a dynamic shield, in the beginning you will need to scan for repairs and make sure the shield is charged enough so that it continues to work properly. Eventually you will only need to do an occasional scan to make sure all is well with the shield.

5 Real-Life Grimoires
1. The Sworn Book of Honorius
This 14th century grimoire is a collection of knowledge of several Renaissance magicians. It is comprised of Christian magick, even going so far as to state that one must be a true baptized Christian to successfully perform the magick within its binding. Traditionally, one must also swear an oath of secrecy upon reading it, as the name suggests. Within its cover,…

Anyways 2020 was supposed to be about me coming back to tumblr and witchcraft in full force and I apologize that my body decided no despite being home all the time with seemingly being given the perfect opportunity to.
It’s almost September and 2020 is still a dumpster fire. Maybe next year
I deem 2020 as "the year no one got anything done and that's okay."
I second this.
