Some more Queer superheroes i’ve been tooling around with. A redesign of Power Bottom (invincible from the waist down), and created a nemesis for him, Total Top (invincible from the waist up).

an editorial cartoon about the Alexander Hamilton casting “scandal”
are they supposed to look like tiana and charlotte
nope! totally unintentional... but i totally see the resemblance. I was really trying to reference Marie Antoinette with “Princess Lily White.” But i also really liked Princess and the Frog, so I’ll gladly accept the resemblance.

The point is an awesome and relevant one. 100% support.
My question is: Why does the cartoon depict girls? Is there evidence that most of the white people who are complaining are women? Or does the artist think little boys can’t be entitled spoiled brats with their toys? Spoiler alert: Boys are every bit as ridiculously possessive as girls.
(Intersectionality is a thing.)
Yeah, that’s totally my fault. This was just a doodle I made while waking up the other day, and I totally intended to draw a white girl AND boy complaining, but I 1) ran out of time before i had to go to work, 2) ran out of room in the composition 3) i came up with “Princess Lily White” for the girl and couldn’t come up with an equally satirical name for the boy. Totally missed the opportunity to be a good intersectional SJW. The criticism is noted, valid, and heard. #illdobetternexttime #thanks4keepingmeaccountable

Yup. There it is.
okay but why did they have to make these girls why did they have to change the name to “alexandra” why not make it boys and leave it as alexander or would it have been too hard to draw a spoiled, materialistic, bratty boy
totally fair criticism. I originally was going to make it a white boy and girl complaining. But I came up with the name “Lily White” which i liked a lot and couldn’t think up of a satirical name for the boy. Plus the composition started to get crowded with all the figures. I chose “Alexandra” because A) black/brown girls get sidelined a lot in social justice spaces, plus there’s been some speculation that a woman could be case as Hamilton, which I would dig. :( #sorry #unintendedsexismblues #illdobetter
