♫ | Another Gig!
Her cheeks seemed to show a slight hint of a blush as he complimented her band so much, it was nice hearing kind words instead of the local trash bashing on their hard work. Karasu tried her best to make sure every lyric she composed was something that she could be proud of, something that people would enjoy. Hopefully that’s what happened with more than half of the crowd. “I’m sure you’ll be able to catch another one of our shows. We’ve got another coming up in a week at Agua. It would be cool to see you there.” Shooting him a wide smile she hoped for the best.
An almost knot formed in her stomach as she stood there feet from him waiting for him for give her an answer. She felt almost foolish as she anticipated something so casual, but he was a fan and being denied by a fan would have crushed her.
Her eyes widened with happiness as he agreed to go eat sushi with her, “Really? I appreciate that so much!” She said in a bright tone as she looked at him almost having a glimmer in her eyes. “We’ll have a nice time gettin’ ta know each other then, eh?” Getting to know a fan would be fun, and he seemed to be a nice guy so far. Nothing he said or did seemed to push her over any sort of edge which was a rare trait in people these days. As she almost turned to start walking off towards the sushi bar she noted him tell her his name, “Ah, Pleasure to meet ya Reiki-san, I’m Karasu Seishin.”
“Are you from around here, Reiki-san? Or are you here visiting?” Asking this it was a normal question for her or anyone from Shibuya to ask someone they meet. It was a big city filled with so much life, you’d be surprised by all the new faces you’d see on a daily basis.
Her cheerful attitude, followed by her joyful reaction to him agreeing to visit the sushi bar brought up two things inside of Reiki: Amusement - it was the first time seeing a person this happy, because being surrounded by heartless businessman didn't leave much room for happiness, and he almost had to laugh out how easy she would be manipulated by him. A few nice words, a smile and she was his, to put it simple. Such a girl, he almost pitied her... Almost. For now she was of use to him, even if it was only to spend some time... Knowing a musician was never wrong - they could be useful on several occasions. And so Reiki smiled at Karasu and nodded when she told him about their next gig - something that did impress him once more. For a two-people band to find so many places to play... "Me? Oh, I live a few subway stations away from here. A little house for a family of three!" he then said in response to her final question, albeit it was a lie. Telling her that he's the soon to be leader of one of the most known electric companies in Shibuya wouldn't be the best idea, in his decision. That would mean hiding his cellphone as well. His father had provided him with the newest version, even though it was a mere prototype. The new functions didn't matter to Reiki, the only things he needed was a smooth running cellphone with access to the internet, and both worked after a small test - calling his father, and downloading a random program from the internet, called Nicaea... He had heard rumors of it. Being able to watch the deaths of your friends before it even happens? What an utter piece of crap. Besides, he didn't have time for friends, anyway. Eating every now and then was fine, but Reiki had a too full time plan to actually enjoy so called free time with people. Nevertheless, he turned around and faced the door. "Shall I wait outside until you're ready, Karasu-san?"
