Tsundere of the Week Century <3

Personal Note: We've finally arrived! The Tsundere of all Tsunderes! Toradora was the very show that kicked off my love for Anime, the romance genre and Tsunderes in general (and the reason I fell in love with Rie Kugimiya's voice...)

Taiga is possibly one of the most well known Tsundere characters, yet she's not actually that stereotypical/traditional either. Of course, many have tried to imitate her, some succeed (Reo (Sono Hanabira) for example) and some fail.  

But it gives me pleasure to say this week's Tsundere of the Week, is my personal favourite of all time.

Emi Yusa  (Hataraku Maou-sama!)

Emi is probably a little more on the tsun side overall, but she definitely deserves a mention here. Of course, I did prefer Chiho, but I love the big sister role Emi takes to her ;3 Fantastic show that shouldn't be missed!

No TOTW?!

I have to apologise for missing last weeks TOTW as well as this weeks...Had a bit of an issue with our ISP and we got cut off by mistake. ¬¬

We've been told it's being returned to us on the 13th, so in the mean time TOTW is on hold 'til after (unless I can access for more than 5 minutes at a time some where else where filters don't constantly tell me "This shit's 18+ yo"...no...no it's not...it's a site for GUITAR CHORDS GOD DAMN IT. ;A;

Anyway, to make up for it, I'll be bringing some new content ideas with me when TOTW returns so hope to catch you on the flip side! Enjoy your anime guys :D

Yuuhi Katagiri  (Akane-iro Somaru Saka)

Personal Note: Yuuhi! ;A; A lot of people say the series went downhill towards the end, but personally I quite enjoyed it! I'm planning to read it to get other endings...the anime ending just left me wanting to try others...though I'll try the manga before I grab the VN...I want Yuuhi's ending ;P

  Have you seen/read Akasaka? Were you rooting for Yuuhi?

Eri Sawachika  (School Rumble)

Personal Note: I'm not a huge fan of School Rumble...It was an alright show; Eri and Yakumo were the only ones that managed to tide it over for me and keep me watching though. Saying all that, I did enjoy it at least! So it's still a good watch in my eyes :) (And hell, Yui Horie <3!!)

Personal Note: This season has been great for me; Henneko is no exception for me :3 I love it :D So much in fact, I went out of my way to find a GIF this week :3 'dat face...THOSE FEELS <3 I'm conflicted to who's best though...I rate Azusa pretty high, but I rate Tsukiko just as high

Personal Note: You do have to love Yui and whilst not my favourite in the series (that falls to Mikan...Or Yami...the battle continues...), she's certainly a top scorer!

You may also have noticed that the blog has re-branded and only related posts remain...oh joyous days! ...is tomorrow, but of course...It would be Tsunday, after all ;) 

But any guesses to who will be making her appearance? Sure, you need a clue...I get that. So I'll give you a pretty big one... Tomorrow's TOTW is one of the big hitters (I.E. More popular). Sure, there's still a lot to choose from, but lets see if you can guess right ;)

Note: I feel I need to add context for those who haven't seen the series/this episode. Rika isn't actually a tsundere character, but here she acts as a 'tsundere maid'...which ends up being a lot more tsun..."You nearly broke my heart!" - Kodaka

Personal Note: Watching through Lv.2 right now; she got more dere...Personally though, I'm a huge fan of Mafuyu <3 Then Aka-Chan and Minatsu sits at number 3 (Chizuru in 4th :O)

Nyaruko-San! :D

Well, season 2 (or 4, depending on whether you consider the OVAs to be part of the count (I don’t xD)) is well underway so it’s time to ask which intro you prefer! 

  Haiyore! Nyaruko-San (Taiyou Iwaku Moeyo Chaos)

  Haiyore! Nyaruko-San W (Koi wa Konton no Reichi)

  Finding these things A) Not zoomed in and B) Not just to a static image proved difficult…So the quality isn’t great (but hey, if you’re a fan, you know what they’re like already!)

For me, I love the original…it’s both fun and catchy, but perhaps I overplayed it a little when I got it. So I’m choosing W’s opening for a few reasons…first, it’s still damn catchy! It may not have that instant popularity that the original did (oo! Nyaa!) but I could happily sit with Sanchi Pinchi :P

My second reason for choosing it is actually more of good reasoning on my part; the song is technically clever. Where the original would hit a major, this chooses a minor (not literal, though possibly :P). It basically feels like a response song…you can almost feel how similar they are in the verse, but then it launches into something that just bests the original for me :D

So, of course the question is, which do you prefer?
