I found some old submissions from last year that got stuck in our inbox. Whoops! They’re being queued up for posting now, so if you’re suddenly seeing screenshots, don’t panic - this year’s Shutterbee has not yet begun!

What is a Shutterbee?
The TSW Shutterbee is an annual screenshot scavenger hunt that takes place in The Secret World. Participants earn points by taking and submitting screenshots of items, emotes, locations, or situations on a given list of tasks. Every participant is guaranteed to win a prize, plus the faction* with the most overall points gets bragging rights for the year!
Who runs the Shutterbee?
The Shutterbee team consists of Kyo, Gran, and Xie. Gran is the blue beret behind @councilofvenice, Xie masterminds @fuckyeahtsw, and Kyo is just a person who loves organizing things. None of us are affiliated with Funcom in any way, shape, or form, and we’re all volunteers who just want to bring a little fun to the community.
When is the Shutterbee?
This year, the Shutterbee will officially commence at 12:01 am on July 1, 2017, and will end at midnight on July 31st. Winners will be contacted to choose and receive their prizes during August.

How can I help?
Submit a task for the task list! Please remember that no task can require people to utilize pay-only content (such as some of the issues), nor can any task require anyone to enter a PVP zone. Some of our favorites from past years included “go on a date at the date farm” and “do a headstand on top of the roller coaster in the Savage Coast”. If you had a favorite from previous years, feel free to let us know!
Feedback, feedback, feedback! If there was something you loved or hated in a previous year, tell us so that we can either do it again or make it better this year. For example, in previous years we got a lot of feedback about the faction prizes and how it was unfair that the largest faction could easily win without doing as much work. This year, we’ll be evening out the playing field so that every faction has an equal chance of winning, based on how many points their top earners get.
