Can Du'ā change Qadr?

Du’ā’ is very important. It can change the Divine decree and relieve distress. It is beneficial with regard to what has been decreed and what has not been decreed.

The Prophet [ﷺ] said:

“Nothing can change the Divine decree except du’ā’.

• [Source: Saheeh al-Jaami’, (No. 7687)]

So no matter what it is that you desire, so long as you ask Allāh, He will grant you it. Don’t be a person who says, everything is written and I shouldn’t make Du'ā. No. Ask Allāh to grant you whatever makes you happy so long as it is permissible.

And Allāh knows best.
