I find it amusing how my chronic illness had a bad comeback the same time when my ed did, and he broke up with me. Maybe there are some relations between the three, maybe there's not.
It's really like a 'hey, if you feel bad mentally you should feel bad physically too'...
Astronauts are so funny man. Here's just a couple of things I've found hilarious from this past week of space stuff:
It's probably already been spread around here enough already, but in case anyone's missed it; 7 hours after launch, commander Reid Wiseman, dealing with tech issues, uttered the generational quote "I have two Microsoft Outlooks and neither one of those are working."
After fixing the issues that were afflicting the onboard toilet, mission specialist Christina Koch (who has quickly become my favourite of the four) laughingly said “I’m the space plumber, I’m proud to call myself the space plumber.”
On Easter Sunday, the Artemis II crew hosted a makeshift egg hunt, by hiding packets of dehydrated scrambled eggs around their Orion capsule.
The way the crew always makes sure to make it very clear they're in space when doing interviews. From stuff like Wiseman just hanging out floating sideways on screen or Koch letting her hair loose so it can freely span out flowing around her.
While in transit, the crew decided to record a parody of those bad 80s sitcom intros where everyone turns and smiles at the camera.
When the crew reached the furthest point from Earth in the mission, they jokingly clambored over each other in an effort to get to the far side of the capsule, so that they could individually claim to be the furthest person from earth.
At the same time, on the ISS which was at the time on the other side of earth, the 7 astronauts onboard had a light-hearted race to the far side of the station, making jokes about being the furthest humans from Artemis.
On the way back to earth, NASA actually managed to establish an audio call between the crews of the ISS and Artemis II (where they shared the above info), and Koch called one member of the ISS crew, Jessica Meir, her "astro-sister" as the two of them previously spacewalker together in 2019. Meir then responded I'm so happy that we are back in space together, even if we are a few miles apart" (a few here being 230,000).
While Jeremy Hansen was doing an interview, Wiseman and Koch were just in the background swatting the mission mascot (a little moon plush toy named Rise) back and forth between each other.
In first study of its kind, Cambridge researchers found AI toys could misread some children's emotions.
Since I alawys come here to complain, like I'm paid for it, let me ruin that tradition, i met a man with eyes that would melt tungsten too...
Like girls, guys, non-binaries, everyone pray for me, I want this to work out, please.
Update we dated 1 month and he broke up with me... yey... I cried but it will be fine. I'm okay. It will be fine.
Hopefully we will stay friends
Timothee Chalamet beefing with every oper house and ballet theater wasn't on my bingo card and I'm disappointed with that. It's really the best

I feel ppl without chronic illnesses shouldn't judge ppl with ci, like sure it's not an excuse to everything... but most of us took painkillers when we had headaches, yet some expect others to live with pain most of the time, as there's not pills for everything, and it can come in the most unexpected time and place. Like yeah i have to skip events and things bc I'm sick, and I have to deal with being left out and feeling that i miss out on life, but what else can i do?
I would rather have a headache for a few days than this non-stop discomfort, suicidal thoughts and pain. But explaining this to anyone always results in belittling and minimizing my feelings, bc 'you don't look like you are in pain, what are you whining about?'.

... there are things that I find ironic irl
Like i just talked with my friend yesterday, and she was just venting, hard week+tiredness+stress, and she was venting for like 2h, and that's fine, like i was listening, what i was doing didn't involved a lot of concentration, we could talk. And at one point she mentions, again, this other friend of hers, they are falling out of friendship, but they knew each other for more than a decade so it's not an easy thing to do. And she was venting about that person that she just never cares about what's going on in her life, and she can't tell her anything, but she always have to listen to what she is going through. The girl also tries to find my friend a bf, and she is just not interested at all in that, but she doesn't listen. So she is venting about this friend, not caring, listening
Tiday, I also had a few stressful weeks behind me lately, and I'm on my period, and I'm sometimes suicidal around this time, and we had to work today too, and my ex keeps harassing me, and showed up again, with his idiocy, and it really tipped me over, and I just texted her an I wish to be killed text... i guess she was asleep at the time, but later she just texted me back about her inconvenience that she fixed in 2 sec, literally, and was already done with when i responded. And i just realized, and scrolled back a tiny bit, that usually when I text her about what bothers me in the moment she leaves me on seen, no response, not even a reaction emoji, it's just seen, and changing the topic
And I have no hard feelings, i love her, i just found it ironic, how we talk about her problems for hours one day, and on the next day she doesn't even ask what my problem is when I express that I'm highly distressed....
Hate me but Ralph Fiennes should be remembered for something else than Voldemort...
Ppl (including me) were sure he had an Oscar and not for fucking Voldemort... he is a terrific actor.
Hate me all you want but Diana Buzoianu has such good vibes, i love that woman. Girly descurca bine.
You all hated Bolojan when he said bucharest should have built better infrastructure... i just wanna remind you of that.
And if we are at bucharest can some of you do something so your democratically elected primar pays his datorii... 54 milione de EURO, eu nu înțeleg cum nu a fost aruncat afară, dar na, voi știți ce faceți
