SPOILERS FOR SPIDER-MAN BND
Peter did in-fact not call you the next day. I mean it’s not like you weren’t expecting this, he was The Spider-man for crying out loud, so you didn’t take it personally and went on with your daily routine. By the third day he still hadn’t called, disappointed didn’t even begin to describe how you felt, you felt betrayed. But, most importantly, you felt like a complete idiot, not only did you initiate the first move, but when Peter kissed you back you completely froze. Throughout those days you tuned in every 10pm for the news, you weren’t woman enough to admit that you watched it just to see what Peter was up to. Of course it was the usual: fighting crime, helping the elderly, and taking an obnoxious amount of photos with fans. He didn’t even seem that busy, what was keeping him from calling you? Or at-least sending you a hidden message while being interviewed.
You had lost all hope as the 2 week mark was crossed, when you laid in your bed at night-the same question ran through your mind.
Was the kiss that bad?
Why couldn’t he just admit he didn’t see you as more than a friend way?
Your sadness fizzled out and it transformed into anger, and resentment. As you went on about your daily activities you couldn’t help but chuckle to yourself when remembering all the things he said, all of the empty promises.
“I need to sort some things out.” He said.
“No it’s nothing to do with you, I promise.”
“I’ll call you.”
How stupid were you to believe his words?
One day, you were venting about it to your best friend,Imani, while on break at your job. You were both sitting at a booth, located at the far corner of the Café. You were raving on about the situation for the hundredth time that week;
“I just don’t understand why he won’t man up, and tell me I’m a bad kisser!” You complained placing your face in your hands.
Imani sighed, “Why are you letting this jerk have so much agency over your feelings?” She lectured you, “I’m tired of hearing about this same story, you need to move on babe.” She told you placing your hands in hers.
“I know, I know,” You replied “I should.” You admitted.
That’s when her face lit up. “What…?” You replied, suspicion written all over your expression.
“Okay! Don’t be mad,” She replied, biting her bottom lip,” but….. I kinda gave this guy your number..” she trailed on.
Your face dropped. “You’re joking.” You chuckled in disbelief. The look on her face was telling you otherwise, Your laughter faltered. Imani let go a nervous smile.
“Surprise….” She whispered.
3 months had passed and you could now laugh at the conversation you and Imani had, yes you were still hurt by what Peter had done to you, but at least you were able to move on. After that conversation you reluctantly gave in, telling Imani that if he screws you over then, it was on her. Obviously she didn’t take your threat seriously.
The guy texted you, his name was Elijah. He was a nice guy, he worked at the local paper, he had goals for the future; he wanted kids he told you, and he had a sufficient amount of money in his savings, but you couldn’t help but think of Peter as you two texted, you still had feelings for him.
Elijah asked you out after the first week of texting, and you two decided on a having lunch at a small diner. You two went on 3 more dates before he officially asked you to be his girlfriend. Imani advised you to say yes, she said:
“Even if he’s a rebound you still need to get out there! Stop mopping around because of Peter’s shit, you deserve way better.”
So, naturally you said yes to being his girlfriend. When you laid down that night, you left the window unlocked just incase Peter needed help, a part of you still wondered if he cared about you. Clearly he didn’t.
You and Elijah had been dating officially for 2 months, everything was going well, too well. He brought you flowers every week and he was always respectful with you, never raising his voice when you two go into a disagreement. He was everything you wanted In a guy, the only fault he had was that he wasn’t Peter.
Your anniversary was coming up and Elijah had booked a reservation for the both of you at a fancy restaurant he saw on yelp for 9pm, saying he’d pick you up at 8:30 so you both could take the subway together.
The time read 7pm and you were in your room, sat at your vanity finishing the last of your makeup before you would take out your rollers. The curtains fluttered as a cold breeze swept through your bedroom. Your speaker was on a low volume, playing a calming jazz mix. Words couldn’t describe how nervous you were, your hands were shaking as you sprayed tour setting spray across your face.
Just then there was a sharp thud at your window. Your head snapped around as you saw a figure climb through your open window.
Peter
Your jaw dropped, he had some audacity, climbing through your window after ghosting you for 3 months. You were pissed beyond belief, how dare he?
He wasn’t in his suit, but his face showed signs of scaring. His eyes were remorseful, and in his hand was a bouquet of flowers, that were slightly disheveled.
“Hey…” He trailed on, moving closer to you,shy smile spread across his face. “Look I’m really sorry.” He apologised, now at the foot of your vanity.
You scoffed, you couldn’t believe your eyes, was he joking? Rolling your eyes you replied. “Peter, are you joking, it’s been 3 fucking months and you show up to my window; with dead flowers, expecting I’ll forgive you.” You hissed, you were fuming, after months of rehearsing this conversation in your head, your brain was blank, your eyes started to water as he sunk to his knees, tears falling down his face.
“Please I’ll explain everything-if you listen to me, please.” He begged.
You rolled your eyes at his lame excuse for an apology. You couldn’t believe it, you knew what he had been up to, you saw the news, the cctv clips of him in his suit with a girl in his arms, you knew she was Mj, he had made his choice, he moved on; so you did the same. They’d probably broken up after the honeymoon phase stopped, reality set in, or maybe she didn’t remember him, who knows; you thought.
You were tired of being treated like a second option, or only being remembered when Peter needed something, you were worth more than that.
“Peter, nothing you do can fix this, I’ve moved on,” You whispered, while quiet sobs left your lips, “I know you were with Mj, you two deserve each-other.” You finished, your cries were no longer quiet, you were full blown crying your eyes out. Peter jumped up and ran to grab you a tissue, wiping your eyes, making sure not to smudge your mascara.
He felt like shit, not only for treating you this way, but also because he was guilty, he was with Mj these past months, they’d built a friendship. You were right.
“Look, you’re right.” He surrendered, placing his head on your knee. You let go a dry laugh.
“Of course,” you started “Get out.” You told him, rising up and leaving him at the foot of your chair, a look of disbelief danced across his face as he watched your figure move towards your bag rack.
“W-what?” He questioned, chasing after you like a lost puppy, “no, no, please don’t do this. How can I fix this?” He pleaded.
All your restraint almost dissolved as you listened to his words, but then you remembered how he ghosted you for 3 months, this was the right thing to do.
Just as you opened your mouth to reply; the doorbell rang. Was it 8.30 already?? You checked your gold watch on your wrist, it was a gift Peter had given t you for your birthday. It was only 8pm.
“Who’s that?” Peter questioned.
“It’s my boyfriend, Elijah.” You replied flatly turning to face him.
Peter’s face dropped, he looked like his whole world had just collapsed.
“Oh..right.” He replied looking down at his feet, this shoulders shrugged down as he made his way to your window. He was too late.
“I’m really sorry,” he started, “I’ll make it up to you, I promise.” He trailed off looking back at you before leaving, and closing the window behind him. Typical, you thought arms crossed, you couldn’t believe his audacity.
The rest of the night went on smoothly, when you opened the door for Elijah he asked you what was wrong, you lied telling him you’d accidentally stubbed your toe. You two made your way to the restaurant and had a lovely dinner. But, the whole night your mind was filled with the conversation you had with Peter, you replayed it hundreds of times, regretting what you said. He deserved it you kept telling yourself.
The next day, you woke up to the sound of your phone ringing. Half asleep, you sat up answering the phone. “Hello?” You said, voice raspy with sleep.
“Oh sorry, did I wake you up?” Peter asked sounding genuinely concerned.
“What do you want?” You asked him, pissed that he really called you at the crack of dawn.
“Yeah, sorry I just wanted to call you to say I’m…at your door.” He replied.
Your phone fell out your hand as the doorbell rang, you were not ready for this, it was way too early. You fell onto your back, letting out a long sigh before answering the door.
Peter brought coffee, and you both spoke on the couch, your arms were wrapped tightly around your chest as he paced around, refusing to stay still as he told you the reason he’d ghosted for so long. As he came to the end of his speech, you still couldn’t understand, he could’ve at-least sent you a message saying he was okay, but acting as if you didn’t exist, that was low you thought. He left shortly after, saying he had to start his morning patrol, but he percussively apologised saying he’d call you everyday to regain your trust. Lies you thought after closing your door.
What were you going to?
Later that day you were on the phone with Imani, telling her everything. She was living for this.
“Two guys are in-love with you and you’re telling me you don’t know what to do?” She questioned, “Girl date them both!” She said, you could tell she was serious and her tone was too cheerful. You rolled your eyes as you responded telling her there was no way in hell you’d speak to Peter again.
He kept his promise, Peter called you everyday for the next week telling you he was at your door and you two would sit and drink coffee while he pleaded you to just forgive him. By the third day everything felt normal, and you were starting to believe his words, he was finally sticking to his words.
After the 2 week mark hit you both would go out for lunch, or dinner, without noticing you were also ignoring Elijah’s calls, too focused on Peter.
You had completely forgotten about your boyfriend.
One night as you both were on your couch watching a movie, popcorn placed in-between you both Peter spoke.
“Look, this isn’t easy for me to say,” he started, looking at you like you were the only thing in the world he cared for, “I really like you, and I’m really sorry for what I did to you, I’ll never treat you like a second option again.” He said, placing your hands in his.
Tears fell down your eyes as you told him you liked him too, before you could think your lips smashed together in a hungry and desperate kiss, it was a messy mix of teeth clattering and tongues fighting each-other, you two pulled back breathing heavily as it settled what you had just done.
what were you going to tell Elijah?
First thing tomorrow you rung him telling him to meet you at your job.
As you sat at a booth, fingers fiddling nervously with your rings, he walked in, bell ringing as he made his way towards you, the brightest smile spread across his face. He held flowers in his hand as he approached you, roses; your favourite. His face dropped as he look at your melancholy expression, sitting down across you before placing a kiss ok your cheek.
“What’s wrong baby?” He questioned you.
“Look Elijah, I don’t wanna trail you on, I do really like you,” you started, his face dropped, his loving expression changing to a nervous one, you took in a big huff of air before continuing, “I met someone else, well before I met you but…it’s complicated. So I wanna break up, you deserve way better than me.” You sobbed, guilt spread across your face.
Elijah scoffed, “are you serious?” He started a vein rising in his forehead. “You couldn’t tell me this before? Oh God have you been seeing him for the past few weeks? You know what, don’t even tell me.” He fumed on raising up from his seat, disbelief and betrayal written all over his face.
“I’m so sorry.” You started by that time the Café door had swung open and slammed everyone in the shop turning around to look at your table. Tears fell down your eyes as you watched his figure fade away as he walked down the street, it was for the best you thought.
You called Peter as you left, telling him it was finished and you’d just broken up with Elijah.
As the days went on you both made promises to each other, Peter promised that you were his number 1, reassuring you that Mj didn’t see him as more than a friend and that she didn’t remember him.
You both agreed to take it slow, for your sanity.
You loved Peter, and he loved you, you both just lacked communication. Your relationship would blossom as the days progressed you both were good for each-other, he told you and he promised to prove it to you every day that you’re the only girl for him.

SPOILERS FOR SPIDER-MAN BND
Light rain pattered against your bedroom window as you lounged on your on bed, painting your nails a deep red colour. The tv muffled quietly in the back, playing the news station.
‘ In other news, our friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man was seen today..’ .The news reporter started. You slightly leaned forward, taking the remote in the palm of your hand to turn up the volume, now giving it your full, undivided attention.
Just then, the was a loud thud that hit the glass of your window.Your head whipped around. Carefully, you placed the bottle of nail polish on your bedside-table and began to rise up from your position on your bed, eventually placing your feet on the hardwood floor.
Surely it wasn’t the rain, you thought as you warily made your way to the other side of your room, your brain ran through a dozen possibilities as to why there was a loud thud at your window. Until, you landed on one.
Was it a bird?
What if it was injured?
You stopped dead in your tracks as you stood in-front of your window ,panic rising in your body. You pressed your face towards the glass, trying to figure out what was there. It definitely wasn’t a bird, the shape was too large. You unlocked the latch to grip the bottom ledge, pushing the window straight up.
The cold night air hit your face as it travelled through your bedroom, you ducked down looking at his figure, a sense of relief rushing through you. You let out a deep sigh.
“God Peter, you scared me to death!” You started , “I thought a bird had hit my window.” You mumbled to yourself. He chuckled nervously, moving to the inside of your room; sitting on your window ledge.
“Sorry.” He said looking down at his feet, as he kicked them.As he moved inside your room, the light from your lamp illuminated him, he was in his suit. But as more of him came into view you noticed the bruises on his face.
The playful energy in the room had switched as you moved closer to him, a look of concern spread across your face. “Oh, it’s really nothing.” He reassured you, keeping his gaze on his feet.
“Oh come on Peter,” You responded mockingly,“your face looks like you lost a battle with scorpion.” You chuckled, pulling your bedside draw open to retrieve the first aid-kit that lived there; specifically for Peter.
Both your attentions shifted to the tv as it replayed cctv footage of Spider-Man ‘losing his cool’ when fighting scorpion. Your eyes widened as you saw him almost kill a cop. “Oh…” You whispered, you knew not to question him, although it was not usual for spider-man to lose his cool’ .
He moved to sit down on the edge of your bed, fiddling with his mask in his hand. You sat behind him and poured rubbing alcohol on his wounds as he blabbed on about the fight with scorpion, and how Mj had moved on…
“…..Yeah and I went to their housewarming part-“
You sharply cut him off, “Pete, please don’t tell me you gave the letter at their housewarming party.” You pleaded.
Selfishly, it wasn’t like you were bothered about Peter ruining their party. Although you wouldn’t admit it, in these years that you and Peter had been friends you’d embarrassingly fallen for him. You cringed as you released the irony of it all, falling in-love with a man that was stuck on someone that didn’t know him. Just your luck. Pushing your feelings aside, you listen to Peter’s constant yapping.
“What, no, no I’m not crazy.” He responded wincing as you stitched him up.
“Ya, okay spidey,” You mocked, “stay still.” You muttered.
The evening went on with the two of you going back and forward with each-other about when and where Peter should confess to Mj and Ned.You both were now laid down on your bed, facing eachother as you lectured him.
“I just feel like you should tell them, even if it’s awkward, they deserve to know Pete.” You told him, maintaining eye-contact.
He flipped over to lay on his back; Peter’s expression changed as he realised your hypocrisy. “ But you just said the housewarming party wouldn’t be a good move?” He realised. The tips of your ears redend in embarrassment. “Caught.” He chuckled.
“I don’t know,” He spoke truthfully, “I wanna wait for the right time.” He sighed.
“You’ve been saying that for months now,” You stated, hovering over him “ when is the right time,Spider-Man.” You joked.
Peters eyes skimmed your face before landing on your lips, you two were suspiciously close, way to close, tension in the room rose as you two just stared at eachother, waiting for someone to make a move. Becoming aware of your proximity to his face you moved back.“It’s getting late.” You told him.
“Oh yeah, yeah sorry.” He apologised rising from your bed.“Thank you,” He started, “..for stitching me up.” He said, awkwardly lingering at your window.
“Anytime.” You responded.
Something rushed over you, before you noticed; your feet were moving towards Peter, and in the blink of an eye you were kissing his cheek. You two stood there in uncomfortable silence. “Sorry!” You quickly pulled away. “I do-.”
Peter cut you off by placing his lips on yours, you were still in shock as his mouth began to move, eventually you snapped back into reality. He pulled back slightly, crouching under the window.“I need to sort some things out.” He said, pulling his mask on half his face.
Your stomach dropped hearing his words, what did you expect, he’s inlove with Mj. God what were you thinking. A sense of embarrassment rushed over you, you’d made a complete fool of yourself.Peter sensed it, quickly he rose to his feet.
“No it’s nothing to do with you, I promise,” He reassured you as he paced around the room. “It’s me, I’m a mess right now.” He joked, trying to ease your anxiety.
He pulled his mask fully over his face.
“I-I’ll call you.” He promised, placing your hands in his.
“Okay, Pete.” You replied.
He quickly left, shooting his webs to close your window.
You sunk into your mattress, staring at the ceiling.
God, what were you going to do?

I keep changing my theme, I can’t help it🥲
I don’t know what’s going on around here lately, but Tumblr seriously needs to fix this issue with anonymous asks. I’ve seen so many racists hiding behind anon—cowards using anonymity as a shield to spread hatred—and it’s actively driving good people away from this fandom. It stops now. Racism will absolutely not be tolerated on my blog, period.
To the racists hiding in the inbox: let’s get one thing clear—you don’t own a damn thing around here. You don’t own Michael, you don’t own what people think about him, and you damn sure don’t own the beautiful, creative ideas that Michael has inspired in this community. Hiding behind an anonymous submit button doesn't make you powerful; it just shows your cowardice.
To my fellow Black writers and creators: you are safe here. My blog is, and always will be, a space that celebrates and protects you. I will continue hyping you up, lifting your voices, and supporting your work because whether these anons want to accept it or not, we deserve to show our love for Michael and his family just as much as any non-POC writer or artist. Our creativity, our passion, and our presence belong here. I love y'all—stay strong, keep creating, and don't let them dim your light. 🤎
I love y'all from the sugar to the bone,

Bad sleeper
Wc-335
Era- bad
After a long days of work, Michael could finally get some rest. He quietly tiptoed into your shared bedroom, stepping over that one creaky floorboard; making sure not to wake your sleeping figure up.
He quietly sunk into the mattress, pulling your figure into his side, and resting his hand on your hip. Lightly he placed a kiss on your forehead before whispering a,
“Goodnight, honey.” Before trying to get some rest.
10 minutes passed and Michael was still awake, he laid in the bed with his eyes closed, crossing his fingers that he would fall asleep. You, who was dead asleep, subconsciously kicked him in his shin, while trying to move to the other side of the bed.
“ow!” Michael screeched, as he opened his eyes to look at you. It wasn’t like he wasn’t used to this, Michael knew you were a bad sleeper, when you were both kids having sleepovers at hayvenhurst, you constantly spoke while asleep and kicked him; obviously he expected this. The only difference was that now you were adults, married, and had to share the same bed for the rest of your lives.
20 minutes passed, and you were on the other side of the bed, barely hanging onto the mattress, with your right foot dangling off the bed ;laid on your stomach. By this time you had stolen the duvet and you were wrapped like a burrito around it. Michael was left shivering on the left side of the bed, he got up out of the bed, and cautiously moved to the storage closet to get a blanket for himself.
You gasped loudly, “Where are you going.” You mumbled with your fully eyes shut, still in a deep sleeping state.
Michael whipped around to look at you, carefully he walked towards the bed, leaning in to see if you were awake, obviously you weren’t. He chuckled to himself as he sunk back into the bed, with the blanket in his hand.
He’d never get used to this.
Note: I got this idea because I sleep really bad too, and from others experiences of sharing a bed with me :D.

Warnings- none
You were stood at the bathroom mirror, impatiently tugging at your curls; begging them to detangle. The radio played as background noise as you hummed along to the song playing. You mumbled profanities under your breath as you attempted to work through the middle section of your hair, not only was it the most dense part of your hair. But, because of your laziness-continuously slicking it back in a bun, it created tangles in your curls and clumps of product build up.
You had done everything as usual.
First washing your hair with water, applying a generous amount of shampoo. Now, attempting, to detangle it with conditioner. You watched yourself in the mirror, frustrated tears threatening to escape your eyes when a familiar voice approached you.
“Baby, where are you?” Michael questioned, his footsteps sounding in the hallway.“ M’ in the bathroom.” You responded whipping your head around to the open door.
“Ah, there you are!” He said excitedly, poking his head through the door, a boyish smile creeping up his face as he looked at you.
Michael’s eyes inspected the scene, you losing a battle between your curls, the radio sitting on the edge of the counter basically tipping over into the sink, and bottles of moisture littered everywhere. His eyes widened as he picked up the radio, placing it on a shelf.
“Why’d you have the radio so close to the water, baby?” He questioned a look of worry spread across his face.
“Did I?” You asked,a wave of relief washing over you. Michael to the rescue!
You finally doin’ your hair.” He mocked, leaning back on the counter.
“Boy, hush,” You said, giving him a light shove on his shoulder, forcing a smile back. “You’re mocking me while I’m struggling?” You questioned pulling a sad expression, “That’s low.” You said diverting your attention to the tangles in your hair.
“Oh come on!” He remarked, “ M’ only teasing you, here do you need my help.” Michaels’ hands moved towards the wide-tooth comb placed on the marble counter top. He gripped it firmly moving it towards your hair.
“No, no, Stop it applehead!” You pleaded jumping back, trying to take the comb out of Michael’s hand.
High pitched giggles filled the room as you and Michael were at war against each other. You successfully managed to take the comb out of his hand, hiding it behind your back. The laughing died down as you both stopped to catch your breath.
“I don’t need your help!” You joked, pushing him out the bathroom.
“Oh yes you do!” He disagreed, “You were seconds away from being electrocuted if I hadn’t come to save you!” He giggled, not wanting to leave the room.“Well, you’re next!” You told him pointing a brush towards his figure, that lingered at the door.
“If you don’t quit bothering me I’ll wash your hair next.” You raved on, in a threatening tone.
“You wouldn’t dare.” He said narrowing his eyes at you.“Try me.” You shot back placing your hands on your hips.
You two stood facing each-other for what felt like years until he finally backed down.
“Fine, fine, you win I’ll leave.” He surrendered, raising his hands above his shoulders in retreat; slowly backing out of the bathroom.
You giggled to yourself quietly as he finally left the bathroom, thinking this would get him out of you washing his hair next.
You definitely were .
I’m backkkk! I was washing my hair yesterday when I thought of this, I hope you all like it!! My requests are open, I’m going to try to be more active.

Summary: You accompany Michael to his New York apartment where you will stay with him for the next 2 weeks while he performs there. Just as he promised he takes you to Studio 54, where you get to see a different side of Michael. You knew Michael was a hot commodity but you didn’t know how much it would effect you…
———————————————————————-
The drive through New York felt almost unreal.
The city buzzed outside the windows with a life entirely different from California. Endless rows of glowing buildings stretched toward the evening sky, yellow taxi cabs darted between traffic, and people hurried along sidewalks as if the city itself never allowed anyone to slow down. You found yourself staring out the window almost the entire ride, fascinated by everything.Every few minutes Michael would glance over at you instead of the skyline.
Not because New York wasn’t beautiful.
Because watching you experience it somehow made it even better.
When the car finally rolled to a stop outside his apartment building, Bill Bray stepped out first before opening the back door.“We’re here,” he smiled.
Michael climbed out before offering you his hand.
You gladly took it.
Inside, the apartment was much smaller than Hayvenhurst, but somehow it felt even more personal. It didn’t have towering ceilings or endless hallways.
Instead, it felt lived in.
Comfortable.
The living room held a well-loved couch with a knitted blanket folded neatly over one arm. Records were stacked carefully beside the stereo, several notebooks rested on the coffee table with pencils tucked between their pages, and a bookshelf overflowed with music books, poetry collections, children’s stories, and magazines.Photographs sat on shelves in simple frames family, friends, moments from tours.
Near one window stood a healthy collection of houseplants Michael proudly admitted he was trying very hard not to forget to water. The apartment carried a faint scent of clean laundry, cedar, paper, and the familiar cologne Michael always wore.
It was Warm.Quiet.Safe.
You slowly turned in a circle, taking everything in.Even after only a few minutes, a strange thought settled into your heart. You already knew you weren’t going to want to leave in two weeks.
“You like it?”
His voice came softly from behind you.
Before you could answer, you felt him lean down and place a gentle kiss against your cheek.
You smiled immediately.
Turning around, you wrapped your arms around him without hesitation.
“It’s so you,” you laughed quietly.
Michael blinked.
“What do you mean?”
“It even smells like you.”
You buried your face dramatically against his shoulder before taking an exaggerated sniff.
“Mhm.”
Another dramatic sniff.
“Yep.”
You nodded with complete seriousness.
“Definitely smells like Michael.”
He stared at you for exactly one second before laughing so hard he bent forward.
“No it doesn’t.”
“It does.”
“It absolutely does not.”
“It absolutely does.”
You took another ridiculous exaggerated sniff around the room.
“I think if somebody blindfolded me and dropped me in here, I’d know whose apartment it was.”
Michael shook his head, smiling so widely his dimples appeared.
“You are unbelievable.”
“I know.”
He slipped his arms around your waist then, pulling you closer.
“I was nervous you’d think it was… I don’t know… too basic .”
You looked around again before meeting his eyes.
“It feels like home.”
The words left your mouth without thinking.Michael became very still.
Because no one had ever described this apartment that way before.
To him, this place had always represented long rehearsals, exhausting performances, lonely evenings, and quiet nights spent missing California. It had always been somewhere temporary.Somewhere he slept.Never somewhere that truly felt warm.
Until now.
He rested his forehead lightly against yours.
“I’m really happy you’re here.”
“So am I.”
For the first time since arriving in New York, the apartment didn’t feel empty anymore.
It felt shared.
That realization alone filled Michael with a quiet happiness he couldn’t quite explain. There was no need to whisper here.No brothers barging into his room without knocking. No teasing voices interrupting your conversations to call the two of you “the weird match made in heaven.” No worrying about waking someone while laughing over board games late into the night. No more of his thoughts eating him alive as you two would do freakish things to eachother with his mom just down the hallway
Just…
Peace.
The kind he’d been searching for without realizing it.After unpacking your suitcase, you wandered toward the bathroom.
“I’m gonna take a quick shower before bed.”
“I’ll probably work on a few lyrics,” Michael replied, already opening one of his notebooks.
The apartment soon settled into a comfortable silence. The sound of running water echoed faintly down the hallway while Michael sat at the dining table, absentmindedly tapping his pencil against the page.Every now and then he’d hum a melody under his breath before quickly scribbling another line into his notebook.Music always seemed to arrive without warning.
A little while later your voice called from the bathroom.
“Michael?”
He looked up immediately.
“Sweetie… could you grab my towel, please? I forgot to bring it in.”
Michael swallowed hard , he didn’t want to seem like pervert , No, he’s far from it,
But since that intimate night 3 weeks ago he hasn’t seen your naked body since , he had been extremely busy with practices and studio time , but the vision of it didn’t leave his mind.
He knew that if he saw you he didn’t know if he could contain himself .
He already crossed the barrier of oral sex, and even that was a huge step for him, he wanted to wait for you two to have sex , he wanted the moment to be special , memorable, and also he just had simply no idea what to do when it came to penetration.
“Michael? Baby I’m freezing here hurry please “ you say getting slightly impatient, you just figured he was caught up in a melody in his head and forgot you said something.
“S- sorry baby I’m coming” he opens his cabinet and grabs a towel , strategically he slightly opens the door so your gorgeous naked body was not in his view, he didn’t know if he could handle seeing you like that, not right now, he had a performance he needed to focus on tomorrow, and your body was enough to blur his thoughts.
“Thank you,” you laughed warmly as you took it.
“You make this look like a secret mission.”
His ears turned a faint red.
“I was just… trying to be respectful.”
Your smile softened.
“I know.”
It was one of the countless little things you loved about him.His kindness always seemed to appear in the smallest moments.
By the time you stepped back into the bedroom wearing comfortable pajama pants and an oversized sleep shirt, Michael had already returned to the dining table.
His pencil moved steadily across another page.
You watched him quietly for a moment.
Completely absorbed.Humming softly.Crossing out a lyric.Writing another.
Tomorrow was important. He had rehearsals, interviews, and performances waiting for him.
Not wanting to interrupt his creative rhythm, you slipped beneath the blankets and let the quiet sounds of the city slowly lull you toward sleep.Much later, after his notebook finally closed for the night, Michael quietly made his way into the bedroom. The apartment was dark except for the faint glow of city lights filtering through the curtains.
Carefully, so he wouldn’t wake you, he eased into bed behind you.He wrapped one arm gently around your waist before pressing a feather-light kiss against your forehead.
Then your temple.Then your cheek.
“I love you so much,” he whispered into the quiet room. “I’m so glad you’re here.”He smiled to himself, convinced you were already asleep.
Then you answered softly.
“I love you too, Michael.”
His eyes widened.
“I thought you were sleeping.”
“I almost was.”
You smiled without opening your eyes.
“I’m glad I’m here too.”
Michael laughed quietly under his breath before pulling you a little closer.
For years, this apartment had always been the loneliest place he knew.No laughter. No family. No familiar noise drifting down the hallway.
Just silence after long days of work.
Tonight, though, the silence felt completely different. Not empty.Peaceful.
Because for the first time, he wasn’t coming home alone.
He was coming home to you
————————————————————————
The roar of the crowd was unlike anything you’d ever experienced.Even before the lights dimmed, the theater buzzed with anticipation. Every seat was filled, conversations blending into one excited hum as people clutched programs and craned their necks toward the stage.
You sat comfortably in the very front row, exactly where Michael had insisted you be.
“I want to know where you are,” he’d told you the night before. “Then every time I look out there… I’ll know you’re watching.”
Beside you sat Bill Bray, who had quickly become someone you genuinely enjoyed getting to know over time.
He glanced toward the stage before looking over at you with an amused smile.
“Nervous?”
You laughed.
“More than he probably is.”
Bill chuckled knowingly.
“You’ll calm down once he gets out there.”
The house lights suddenly went dark.
Immediately the entire theater erupted.Screams echoed from every direction as the first notes of music blasted through the speakers.
Then
Michael appeared.
Your breath caught instantly.
You’d seen him dance countless times while practicing in his room. You’d watched him absentmindedly hum melodies while cooking breakfast. You’d laughed watching him perform goofy little dances around hayvenhurst while trying to make you smile.
But this…
This was different.
The second his feet touched that stage, something inside him transformed.
Every movement became effortless.Every step landed perfectly with the music.
The spotlight followed him as if it belonged to him alone, catching every spin, every sharp turn, every graceful glide across the stage.
His confidence seemed almost magnetic. He wasn’t simply performing. He was telling a story with every movement. The audience couldn’t take their eyes off him.
Neither could you.
His curls bounced with each dance move, dampening gradually beneath the heat of the stage lights, while the smile stretching across his face looked brighter than anything you’d seen all week. There was a freedom in him up there. The shy young man who blushed when you complimented him seemed to disappear beneath the music. In his place stood someone fearless.Electric.Completely alive.
You found yourself smiling so hard your cheeks hurt.Every now and then Michael’s eyes swept across the audience.
And every single time they found yours. His smile grew just a little bigger.Like seeing you there grounded him.
People leaped from their seats, dancing in the aisles, clapping in rhythm and singing every lyric back to him.The energy inside the theater became infectious.Even you found yourself standing, clapping, laughing, completely caught up in the excitement surrounding you.
By the final song, the entire audience was on its feet.
The applause seemed endless.
When Michael took his final bow, his chest rose and fell heavily from exertion, his smile genuine as he thanked the crowd one last time before disappearing backstage. You practically floated there for a moment.
Bill stood.
“C’mon.”
He smiled knowingly.
“I think somebody back there is more excited to see you than anybody else.”
Backstage buzzed with organized chaos.Crew members hurried past carrying equipment while producers congratulated performers and assistants rushed in every direction.
Then you spotted him.
Michael stood near the dressing rooms, completely drenched in sweat from the performance.
His curls clung to his forehead, his shirt stuck lightly against his back, and he was still catching his breath as someone handed him a bottle of water. God. Did he looked so sexy.
The second he looked up and saw you,
Everything else disappeared. His entire face lit up.
Without thinking, you hurried straight toward him.He barely had enough time to set the water bottle down before you wrapped your arms tightly around him.You didn’t care that he was soaked.Didn’t care that he was warm from dancing beneath blazing stage lights.
You were simply proud of him.
“You were incredible,” you whispered, pulling back just enough to look at him.
Your hands gently cupped his face before you placed one kiss on his forehead.
“You are truly talented, Michael.”
Another kiss on his lips.
“You were amazing up there.”
Michael smiled so softly it almost made your heart ache.Out of everything that had happened tonight
The cheering.The standing ovation.The applause.
This,
This was the moment he’d been waiting for.
Coming back to you.
He leaned forward, returning your affection with gentle kisses against your forehead and cheeks.“Thank you, my love,” he murmured.
His voice had gone quiet again.
That familiar softness returning now that the stage lights were behind him.“It means more hearing it from you than anybody else.”
Your heart practically melted. One of his hands slipped naturally into yours while the other brushed a loose strand of hair behind your ear.
For a few peaceful moments, the noisy backstage hallway faded into the background. It felt like you were the only two people there. Then Michael’s eyes suddenly brightened with excitement.
“Oh!”
He laughed.
“Are you ready for tonight?”
You raised an eyebrow playfully.
“For what?”
His grin widened.
“Studio 54.”
The words alone made your excitement return full force.
Michael chuckled at your expression.
“It’s gonna be jumping tonight.”
His eyes sparkled with boyish excitement.
“I can’t wait to take you.”
You laughed, looping your arm through his.“Baby…” “My outfit’s already laid out on your bed.”
You leaned in, smiling from ear to ear.“I’ve never been more ready in my life.”.
He squeezed your hand once.
“Good.”
“Because tonight”
He shook his head with an excited grin.
“Is gonna be unforgettable
————————————————————————
Your outfit was perfect: a shiny, dark purple jumpsuit that caught every light in the room. It had a low neckline, a silver belt that showed off your waist, and wide pant legs that moved beautifully when you walked.
Michael looked amazing too. He wore a smooth black silk shirt, unbuttoned just enough at the top, and tight purple pants that matched yours perfectly. Over it, he wore a silver blazer that sparked under the lights, and his black shoes were polished and bright. You feel your face heat up, feeling a rush of excitement. He looked so good, and you knew he was going to own the dance floor tonight.
“Gosh girl, give me one more twirl,” Michael said with a big smile. He took your hand, lifted it up, and spun you around.
You laughed as he spun you for the third time in a row, the room blurring into a mix of colors.
The purple fabric fanned beautifully around your legs before settling again. His knees felt weak at how your figure looked in such tight clothing.
He grinned, biting his lip.
“Again.”
“Michael, come on, Bill is outside waiting for us,” you laughed, catching your balance and pulling him down the hallway by his wrist.
He groaned dramatically.
“But I was admiring you.” He playfully whines
“You can admire me in the elevator.”
“I planned on admiring you all night.”
You both got into the car and headed to Studio 54.
When you got there, it felt like magic. It was just like the pictures, but a million times better. The air inside was warm and thick, filled with the smell of perfume and hairspray. Huge, bright lights flashed over a crowd of dancing people. A giant moon sculpture hung from the ceiling, and silver glitter drifted through the air like snow. Mirrors on every wall made the room look never-ending and wild.
Right away, a man walked up to greet Michael.
“How have you been, Michael? Haven’t seen you here in a while. Who is this beautiful girl you brought with you?” the man asked. He looked you up and down, staring for way too long.
“She’s my girlfriend,” Michael said, his voice turning deep and serious. He quickly placed his hand on your waist, pulling you close to his side with a tight grip. Was Michael… jealous?
“Lucky guy,” the man chuckled, holding his hands up.
“I know,” Michael said shortly. He stopped talking to the man and guided you away into the crowd.
You smiled to yourself, your heart beating fast. You had never seen Michael act so protective before, and it was really sexy.
When you finally got onto the dance floor, the heavy beat of the music took over. Dancing with Michael was pure fun. It felt amazing to just let loose and forget about everyone else. You both moved perfectly together, laughing as he spun you out and pulled you back in. Michael was completely focused on you, watching the way you moved with a huge, happy smile on his face. He was in a total trance, his eyes stuck on how you moved your hips, a breathless, genuine smile plastered across his face.
But the fun stopped when a girl walked up to him. She was very pretty, so pretty that it hurt to admit it.
“Hey Michael, I missed seeing you here,” she said loudly over the music, throwing her arms around his neck for a big hug.
You felt your hands turn into fists. Why did she have to be so pretty? And why did she have to hug him like that?
Michael pulled back from the hug with a warm smile and turned to look for you. He reached out, grabbing your hand to pull you closer to his side.
“Hey, it’s been a while,” Michael said to her, before looking down at you. “This is my girlfriend.”
The girl’s smile instantly dropped. She looked you up and down, giving you a total stank face. She looked so annoyed but because Michael was looking at you, he completely missed it. She gave you a half-assed, lazy wave, barely lifting her fingers.
“Nice to meet you,” she said, her voice sounding totally fake.
Before you could even say anything back, she started moving to the beat of the music, looking right at Michael. “Come on, Michael, dance with me!”
And without even missing a beat, he started dancing with her.
And she was a really good dancer, too. It made you so mad. It felt like he forgot you were even there. Sure, Michael had danced with other women before. To him, dancing was just something to be shared with everyone. But his innocent brain forgot that he had a girlfriend now, and dancing with another girl like this was not okay.
Soon, a big crowd of people surrounded Michael and the girl. They were all people he knew, and they were thrilled to see him back in New York. They formed a circle, clapping along to the beat, cutting you out completely.
You started to feel very small. You didn't know anything about this fancy lifestyle. You weren't famous, and you weren't the child of anyone famous. You only knew Michael, and no one else in this whole club. He seemed different here, so confident and out of reach. It was nice to see him happy, but it felt like you didn't exist to him anymore. He gave you a few quick smiles over her shoulder, and you forced a fake smile back, but inside you were deeply jealous and hurt. You started to wonder if you should even be with someone as famous as Michael.
Maybe you just didn’t fit into his world?
You started to worry that one day he would leave you for a girl who was also a star, someone everyone already knew. Swallowing the lump in your throat, you walked away from the crowd. You found an empty chair and sat down, slowly drinking the last bit of your water while the ice melted.
Is this how it’s going to be every time we go out? How can this relationship work?
That was all you could think about while Michael danced under the bright lights, having the time of his life.
When the crowd finally died down, only then did Michael realize you weren’t next to him. It wasn’t on purpose; he had just gotten too excited and completely lost in a fun moment. But now his heart was pumping fast. Where were you? Was all of this too much for you? How could he be so stupid not to check on you while he was dancing?
Then, his eyes fell on you. You looked so beautiful, but sadness hung heavily in your eyes. He could tell he had messed up big time.
You didn’t even notice Michael walking up behind you, so when he tapped your shoulder, you jumped a bit.
”Oh, it’s you,” you said, pushing out a small giggle to try and ease the awkward situation.
“I’m so sorry. I could’ve sworn you were close to me. I should’ve made sure—”
You cut him off. It had been a whole hour since you two parted ways on the dance floor, and you were completely ready to just go back to the apartment.
“It’s okay, Michael, really. I’m just ready to go, if that’s okay,” you said in a monotone voice, trying your hardest to hide how hurt you were.
“No, no, yeah, sure. It’s okay,” he said quickly. His face felt hot and his heart was pounding against his ribs. He had wanted this to be such a good night for you, but instead, he felt like he completely ruined it.
In the car on the way back to the apartment, the silence was heavy. Michael couldn't stop thinking about what he had done on the dance floor. I should’ve made sure I was by her side, he thought to himself, a knot forming in his stomach. I’m such an idiot. I should’ve made sure she was okay. I should’ve been more aware of what I was doing.
Meanwhile, you just stared out the window at the passing city lights. Your eyes were blurry with tears, and you genuinely didn't know what to say.
You two finally made it back, and the quiet followed you all the way down the hall and into his apartment room.
”Baby…” Michael said, his voice slightly cracking as the front door clicked shut.
“Hm,” you replied softly. You walked over to the couch and sat down, slowly removing your uncomfortable heels. You felt bad for being so quiet, but you knew that if you started talking right now, you would definitely cry.
“I’m so sorry. I should’ve made sure you were around me. I should’ve made sure you were okay—”
“I feel like a burden to you,” you said, cutting him off yet again. You finally covered your face with your hands, tears falling past your fingers.
“You shouldn’t have to constantly check on me. I just don’t fit in. That girl you were dancing with seemed more like your speed,” you sobbed, the words tumbling out. “It’s like I instantly went away into the shadows while you were having the time of your life. What if I don’t fit into this world of yours? What if people think I’m not good enough for you? What if I'm not good enough for you?”
You couldn't hide it anymore. You sniffed in between every single sentence, your shoulders shaking.
“Angel… “ he said softly. His heart broke hearing you talk down on yourself like that, and it killed him to know that he was the one who made you feel this way.
“Angel, all of those things are not true,” Michael said, stepping closer. He gently knelt in front of you, removing your wet hands from your face. With two fingers under your chin, he lifted your face up so your eyes met his.
”You are my world, okay? And my job is to make sure you're okay regardless of where we are. Your status doesn’t matter to me. All those people out there, they barely even know me—not like you do. That alone makes you so special, and so, so much better than the rest. I’m so sorry for making you feel like that, angel. I promise to never make you feel like a burden ever again, okay?”
Michael then pulled you tightly into a hug. He held the back of your head gently in his hand, nuzzling his face into your shoulder as if he never wanted to let you go.
His warm words and tight grip instantly soothed the anxious beat of your heart.
You sniffed, burying your face into his neck. “Thank you, baby. I was just really in my head tonight,” you whispered, accidentally wetting Michael’s silk shirt with your tears, finally feeling safe again in his arms
You pulled back a bit from the hug and planted a kiss on Michael’s lips. It was a soft, simple peck, and you couldn't help but smile into the kiss.
Michael finally calmed down, feeling a huge wave of relief wash over him knowing that he had made you feel okay. He pulled back just enough to look at you, a big, toothy grin spreading across his face.
”What?” you asked, giggling a little and wondering why he had such a ridiculous, happy look on his face.
”You’re smiling again. There’s my pretty girl,” he whispered softly. He placed one of his warm hands on your cheek and leaned back in to kiss you, this time making it a little deeper.
You returned the deep kiss and pulled him closer to you. He was still on his knees on the floor in front of you, but now his body was positioned right between your legs.
You slid your tongue into his mouth, which earned a small, low groan from the back of Michael’s throat. The kiss got unexpectedly heated very quickly, and Michael was already a total mess for you.
His hands began to roam, moving from your hips up to your waist. He slowly moved his palms around your figure, gently squeezing every inch of your body as if he needed to remind himself that you were really there. His hands were so large and warm, and in contrast to his cold, chilly apartment, the heat of his touch made you completely melt.
The kiss was getting sloppy and certainly messy. The two of you were moving around so much, completely lost in each other, that your movements accidentally knocked down a small vase that was on a table right behind Michael. It hit the floor with a loud thud, but neither of you seemed to care.
You felt yourself getting more and more worked up, a slick warmth brewing inside you as you shifted against the heavy fabric of your jumpsuit, desperate for a closer touch.
Michael was completely lost in the feeling of your body. He was fully erect, his heat pressing hard against the edge of the couch as he tried to get closer to you. Sensing his desperation, you opened your legs wider, wanting to feel him against you completely, and that’s when—
Rip.
The tight, purple fabric split right down the center seam.
You gasped as the sudden, chilly air of the apartment hit your bare skin. Because the outfit was so skin-tight, you hadn't worn any underwear to avoid lines showing through, leaving you completely exposed to him now.
You froze, instantly expecting Michael to laugh or make a childish joke to break the tension. But when you looked down at him, there was no amusement on his face. The look in his dark eyes was pure hunger.
Seeing you exposed like that, glistening and flushed with arousal right through the center of your ruined pants, drove him completely feral. The sweet, heavy scent of you filled the small space between your bodies, shattering whatever restraint he had left.
“Oh god,” Michael finally breathed out, his voice incredibly deep and raspy. He stared up at you from his knees, his chest heaving as his hands gripped your thighs, pulling you firmly toward the edge of the cushion. “Let me taste you, angel. Let me make you feel good... please.”
You nodded, biting your lip hard to brace yourself as you waited for the heat of his tongue to press against your sensitive clit.
Gently lifting your legs, he guided your lower back to slide down the couch slightly, giving himself the perfect angle. Michael took the very tip of his tongue and began to slowly swirl it in agonizingly deliberate circles around your clit, causing your spine to arch off the cushions. It felt incredibly good, but the slow, teasing pace was pure torture. You needed more.
“Please, Michael,” you managed to whine, your hands gripping the fabric of the sofa.
“I’m taking my time with you tonight,” he murmured in a low, husky tone, his hot breath brushing against your skin. “I need you to feel every single inch of how sorry I am.” To prove his point, he used his fingers to rip the split fabric of your pants up a little higher, gaining completely unhindered access to your needy heat.
His tongue found you again, slowly licking up and down, collecting the sweet slickness of your arousal before he suddenly picked up the pace.
Now, your clit was being flicked by the tip of his tongue at a rapid, relentless speed. Loud, wet noises filled the quiet apartment. The sensation was completely unreal. He was right there on his knees below you, looking up with sweat breaking out on his forehead and absolute determination burning in his large eyes, completely devouring you.
Your hands scrambled for a pillow next to you, squeezing it tight as your teeth dug into your bottom lip. “Michael… oh shit… Michael,” was all you could gasp out as he completely ruined your composure. The friction of his tongue was perfect. He pushed deeper inside you, burying his face fully between your thighs.
The sight of you was breathtaking to him. Your lips were puffy and red from crying, but you looked more beautiful than ever, the light sweat glistening on your chest making your skin shine under the dim room lights. Michael felt a massive wave of pleasure hit him, letting out a heavy moan right against your core as if he were about to cum in his pants right then and there.
He began to push his tongue in and out of you, looking up at you with those big, doe eyes, silently asking for your approval as you creamed all around his tongue in response.
“Baby… Shit… baby, I’m gonna cum, oh god—”
Suddenly, he lifted his head and stopped completely.
You gasped, your aching walls clenching around empty air. You needed to cross the edge so badly. “Michael…?”
“I’m sorry, baby. I just want to try something, okay?” he breathed, his voice thick.
He moved from the floor and sat next to you on the couch, quickly discarding his trousers until he was left in just his boxers. You raised an eyebrow, your heart hammering. Was he finally ready to have sex?
“I’m not ready to have sex yet, but… I would like to try something. Sit on top of me, baby,” he pleaded, shifting his heavy, pounding erection inside his underwear.
You climbed over him, straddling his lap, and instantly everything clicked into place.
“You want to dry hump,” you said with a breathless little chuckle.
“Oh, that’s the word for it? Yeah, I wanted to try that,” he admitted, a sudden flash of boyish shyness crossing his features before the hunger took over again.
He gripped your hips with his large hands and slowly began to guide you, sliding your body back and forth over his length. The direct pressure of his hard-on frictioning right against your clit made you throw your head back in pure ecstasy. You were leaking so heavily that your juices instantly soaked right through the thin cotton of his boxers. Feeling your slick warmth flooding his length through the underwear caused low, desperate groans and whines to break from Michael’s throat.
Your head fell back once more, but Michael reached up, his fingers firmly catching your chin to pull your face forward. “Look at me. I want to see how much of a pretty mess you turn into.”
The scene was incredibly filthy. The sounds echoing in the room were completely uninhibited, a stark contrast to the sweet, gentle intimacy the two of you usually shared. He picked up the pace, aggressively moving your hips while simultaneously thrusting his own hips upward. The clothed tip of his length repeatedly abused your clit, sending your pleasure skyrocketing to a dangerous high.
You were so incredibly wet that his boxers were fully stained with your cream and arousal. “You feel so good, baby,” Michael groaned out, his head rolling back.
His own precum was mixing in with your slickness through the fabric. As your heat rode him and clenched hard over his clothed length, he gripped and squeezed your ass for support, his fingers digging into your skin as he felt his own climax building.
“Michael, I’m gonna cum… oh god,” you whimpered. You could feel the most intense orgasm of your life brewing deep inside your stomach, a tight, coil of pressure ready to snap.
“Cum for me, Angel,” Michael breathlessly ordered, his hips moving faster. “Cum all over me. Let me feel you.”
That was the absolute cherry on top. You broke, cumming violently all over his clothed length, your body shaking as waves of pleasure crashed through you. The tight, pulsing contractions of your heat clamping down on him pushed Michael right over his own edge. “Oh god, yes!” he moaned loudly, desperately riding into your heat one last time as his own warm release flooded his boxers.
After the storm passed, you stayed melted right on top of him, both of you completely out of breath from the heavy movement, chests heaving against one another.
Michael gently wrapped his arms around you, leaning up to press a soft kiss to your damp cheek. “I love you so much, baby. I’m so sorry about tonight.” He stroked your back, his voice returning to its usual gentle cadence. “Let’s go out to dinner tomorrow night. At that one place you’ve always wanted to go to, hm?”
You wrapped your arms tightly around his neck, burying your face in his shoulder as you ran your fingers through his soft hair. “I love you a whole lot too, and that sounds amazing,” you murmured, giggling softly when your stomach suddenly let out a loud, timed grumble, breaking the last bit of tension in the room.

You peered out the window as Bill drove you to a show, the show in question that your boyfriend spoke very cautiously about as he invited you.
Earlier,
he had purposefully avoided your questioning and gave ambiguous answers.
"Are you preforming?" You questioned ,trying to read his face before he replied, instead of answering you he shifted your focus by saying;
"I'll ask Bill to pick you up later baby, Q wants me at the studio in 10." He said as he pressed a light peck on your forehead and brushed on his coat.
"Okay well, what are you wearing, have you coordinated our outfits?" You chased him like a lost puppy trying to get a straight answer, eventually landing outside Hayvenhursts' porch steps, your face scrunched slightly in confusion as he continued walking,
why was he acting as if he was in a rush?
"Be ready by 8!" He replied as he marched to the car, leaving no time for your reply; he quickly shut the car door and just like that, he was gone.
Why was he being so difficult?
Michael only ever rushed off when he faced confrontation, had you done something?
Thoughts of doubt rushed endlessly through your mind as you made your way back upstairs to Michael's room, you shut the door behind you before opening your shared closet and looked for a dress to wear. As you brushed through all the expensive and custom-made dresses you were slowly losing your sanity. Michael always planned your outfit ahead of time, always insisting that you wore the dress that matched his suit, but there was no dress hung up in the closet with a note on it, you had even double checked, looking through your dresses twice to see if you missed something, but there was no new dress waiting for you. Instead of stressing yourself out, you picked out a silk ankle-length evening dress that stood forgotten at the back of your closet.
You stood in-front of your full-length mirror, gently smoothing out the dress you moved closer to inspect yourself; the colour made your recently sun-kissed chocolate skin glow. You quickly fluffed your blow out up before drenching yourself in perfume, and quickly re-applying your lipstick.
Just as you were putting on your heels- the phone rang.
You already knew who it was, you skipped to the phone before picking it up and putting it to your ear.
"Hello?" You said sweetly, a smile creeping up your face in anticipation.
"Hello, is Michael there?" The pit found itself back in your stomach as you heard the voice on the other side of the phone, you tangled the cord between your fingers as you worked up the courage to reply, you opened your mouth to say something before you were rudely interrupted.
"..I.." "Oh nevermind, he's here now, he took his time!" Diana Chuckled to herself, your mind had gone blank and you quickly hung up. What did she mean he's here now? He said he was going to the studio. Although..... that was an hour ago. His sessions are never that short. Had he lied to you?
Your train of thought was cut off before the phone rang again, you were popular today.
You let it ring twice before picking up. Michaels voice beamed brightly through you ears as he spoke;
" Hey baby, are you ready? Bills on his way now."
"what the hell is going on Michael." Your sharp tone contrasted his jovial one as he replied.
"What's wrong?" He questioned, worry evident in his voice, you rolled your eyes at his stupid question, was he serious right now?
A voice beat you to it again, "Michael they're calling us to back to the stage.....hang up c'mon." Diana's voice slurred through the phone lightly as she stood in close proximity to Michael.
"who was that?" You demanded, not bothering to hide frustration and annoyance in your tone.
Michael quickly replied " Nobody baby, i'll see you soon!"
"No. Mic-"
You were cut off by the sound of the phone hanging up on the other line. If you weren't pissed before you definitely were now. Was he purposefully trying to piss you off?
If so, mission accomplished because you weren't going anywhere right now, not until you got answers.
The sound of the doorbell rang through Hayvenhurst and you opened Michael's bedroom window, and poked your head out.
The cold night air filled the room and you spoke.
"Bill what is going on? Where's Michael."
"I don't know he rang me earlier telling me to pick you up." Bill replied as bewildered as you.
"Okay, well tell him i'm not going anywhere until i get some answers." You spoke, before harshly slamming the windows shut. Your anger wasn't targeted towards Bill, and you hadn't purposefully slammed the window but your emotions had taken the best of you.
You sat at your vanity, makeup-wipe gripped tight in your hand as you moved to your face to wipe your makeup off.
Like clockwork the phone rang again.
Your body was seething with anger as you picked up.
"Baby, what's going on, Bill just told me you're refusing to come down, has something happened?" Michaels ignorance only fueled your anger and you had completely lost control now.
"Michael are you joking, is this some type of trick?" You were now speaking at him not bothering to wait for a response.
"what do you mea-" You instantly cut him off;
"Oh please don't play stupid, first you refuse to tell me what this so-called show is that you've invited me to. Then you lie to my face and tell me you're going to the studio when really you went to see Diana. Don't act so puzzled to the fact that i've refused to follow you and Diana to this show to embarass me and watch you two flirt all night." You had left no space for Michael to reply, you were done with his perplexed and innocent answers.
The line was silent, a loud huff of air escaped your lips and you choked tears down your throat.
"So?" You spoke annoyed at his silence.
"Listen baby, it's nothing like that, i'll explain everything once you get here, just please calm down. i'll explain later." He rushed through his words, you chuckled in disbelief, was that his sorry excuse of reassurance. If so, it was not working.
You knew you'd beat yourself up about this but you reluctantly agreed. you sucked your bottom lip as you replied.
"Fine. But i want answers as soon as I get there."
"Okay, thank you thank you, I promise I'll explain....I gotta go they're calling me i'll see you soon." Michael hung up before you got a chance to reply again.
Completely fed up at his antics you made your way downstairs, continuously reminding yourself that he had a reason to be acting this way.....right?
Wrong.
This was supposed to be longer but my laptop won’t charge so I can’t write, so idk when I’ll post a part 2, but I felt bad for not posting sooo…
