When you get knocked out of a fun game of EDH

Three white cards and only one green. Wow. Sorry, I’m just a sucker for white because it’s happens  to be my favorite color.

So this card drew inspiration from Mirran Crusader but reworked to fit with the set mechanics; in this case, swordplay. 

One of the themes for Eulai is that of hope and despair, each fighting each other in a represented magic. In Eulai, these are represented by the elements of Milu and Dio, light and dark, which is translated in to MtG in the colors of white and black.

Honorbound Knight is part of a mirror, the other part being black, which I will post at a later date.

Which is better?

Reap potentially generates more total counters (or potentially fewer); Bond always generates two. Reap potentially triggers up to three creatures’ heroic, but Bond loses no value if you only have one creature.

What do you guys think?

Does Reap triggers heroic? this is important

yes it does, because it targets each creature. on the same note, common bond can trigger heroic twice for one creature.

Imo, common bond is better, but it’s a close one

Common Bond only triggers heroic once per creature.

Heroic abilities trigger "When you cast a spell targeting this creature", not "When this creature becomes the target of a spell you control".

One cast = one trigger (per creature).

Obviously reap is better then common bond because for the same cost it can trigger 3 different heroic triggers.

My dream for Born of the gods: Get a Brimaz, enchant it with raised by wolves meerkats, and play architect of endurance. If only Ajani’s Mantra was in the set.

I'm getting the feeling that uncommons will be worth more in this set :P

As if devotion wasn't overpowered enough:

Ramping much?

Overall these are actually quite some sweet spoilers.

I believe the green card might even see play in modern against splinter twin and affinity decks.

Karametra has some nice ramping however if you're deck ramps you shouldn't need more ramping after turn 5.

Xenagos is decent. I guess if you have big creatures and all then he's quite good.

Judging from these spoilers I still believe that mono-blue/black devotion are still gonna be the top tier decks. Although I do hope for a minotaur tribal deck :)
