nope! the video comes from dairydoc on tiktok, she's a dairy vet! and like she said, caffeine is a really good stimulant and can really help in situations like this where the calf just doesnt have the energy to get up!

dr sheila mcguirk of the university of wisconsin actually specifically recommends 5 hr energy drink for lethargic calves!

so yeah, it can look really funny to give a new born calf a 5 hour energy, but it does work! stranger things have happened :)
