Hello, everyone!
The amazing @curiousb has made a default for turn ons and turn offs. That you can find here.
With the help of curiousb, I have made an edit of her mod!
The edit I have made adds @midgethetree Mermaid and Genie traits to the Supernatural turn on and turn off. As well as adds the Fairy Trait to the Naturalist Turn On and Turn Off.
You can download my edit here.
I hope you all enjoy! And thank you curiousb for your help!
Edit of Jacky93sims conversion of Venezia Earrings
Hey, everyone!
I edited @jacky93sims beautiful conversion of Tiffany Vegas Venezia earrings. This edit puts the earrings in the jewelry earring tab instead of the glasses tab in CAS.
You will need jacky93sims original meshes in her original post here for this edit to work.
Download @ SFS
@jacky93sims has made conversions of the following accessories:
EnriqueS4 (Marie Necklace), Caio (Cherry Pearls Necklace), Serenity (Sereia Necklace) and WisteriaSims (Ocean Bracelet), low and medium poly (max 5k) for the glasses tab found on her page here.
I made an edit of each of these to have them in the accessory tab. You will need to download the meshes from jacky93sims original post here for this to work!

Remember my 4t2 Sixam project I started 2 years ago? Which I almost scrapped but revisited sometime last year? ... well, I've got good news for you then. It's finally out now! ^^
Welcome to Sixam!
Sixam Academy is a prestigious intergalactic university on the planet of Sixam that provides special training for aspiring students to become Birth Queens, Colony Drones, or even the latest innovation in alien technology: Pollination Technicians. The academy offers hands-on experiences, collaborative research, and cultural exploration, alongside interstellar expeditions, nurturing a community focused on curiosity, inclusivity, and innovation.
Yes, I recreated the secret alien world from TS4 for TS2 as a custom university subhood! Why as a university subhood you may ask? Well, I tried to keep the original vibes of Sixam of it being an "unlockable"/visitable place your sims can explore rather than a regular neighborhood your sims can live in!
Well, even after graduation, your sims can actually stay and live in the university subhood using Lamare's YAs can enjoy maternity (and all that) mod, as well as Lamare's Pets at University mod!
While technically it's a university, it could easily also be just a downtown or a main hood, as it includes quite a few urban city-style residential & community lots that a main hood/downtown would also otherwise have… just all in sci-fi/alien theme, of course! ;)
Download: MTS | Simblr.cc
More info under the cut...
Neighborhood Info:
Requires only Uni/NL/OFB EP and no CC were used to build the lots - I made this without Apartment Life EP, so TS2 Super Collection users can also use it, but in the future, I might also make an alternative version as an actual downtown with apartment lots!
No camera mod is needed, yet, still recommended for easier gameplay, especially since some lots were built on skyscrapers and can be hard to view with just the vanilla camera.
Number of Sims: 90 (10 playable sims in 4 playable families, 31 townies, 44 NPCs, 5 dead sims)
Number of Lots: 35 (7 residential lots, 2 Greek houses, 5 dorms, 1 secret society, 20 community lots, where 8 of which are owned businesses)
Gameplay Info:
Speaking of lots, I made lecture halls for every major, which you could use with beestew's Active Classes mod! These are community lots, featuring skill-building equipment and study spaces, with NPC professors (as lot owners) available for tutoring whenever your sims visit.
I also made an optional custom skybox and custom lighting file for Sixam that will make it always nighttime (Yes, you heard right! The sun never shines here on Sixam!) with subtle seasonal color changes - reddish in Autumn, bluish in Winter, and greenish in Spring.
While the empty version should be CC-free, the inhabited version requires the 3 alien skintones (blue/turquoise/violet) from my [4t2] aliens set to keep the TS4 alien characters like Aileen Rauvu authentic. As giving all these colorful aliens the default green skin instead felt as bad as white-washing, say, giving black characters like Olive Specter a lighter skintone for me. An alternative CC-free version with no CC skintones is also available for players who prefer to not have any CC skintones in their games, though.
I also recreated some characters from TS4, especially all the characters from the The Sims 4 Get to Work: Sul Sul trailer. Every character comes with a complete set of ancestors (at least parents) and customized memories, even townies and NPCs! Some also come with interesting lore! Even though, they're just... townies! Oh, and everyone has genetic infant faces! Yayy! XD
Speaking of characters, scripted events don't work in subhoods, but I wrote a text in each family description that somewhat mimic the scripted event notifications anyway. I think this is a brilliant and fun way of introducing new characters, even in university subhoods. All households should also have a complete set of family album pictures that show their lore a bit. ^^
Recommended Mods:
All notownieregen/antiredudancy/nodormiespawn/nossrespawn mods. All university townies/NPCs in Sixam are aliens.. or at least have a very good reason why they're there, but this can easily be ruined if you don't have these mods installed, lol.
bloodredtoe's Mannequin babies can be born mod. To have more variety, I used the mannequin skintone for some of the alien sims. While this mod isn't required, it's recommended to prevent crashes, especially when these aliens have offspring, as there's a chance they could inherit the mannequin skintone.
Squinge's No Townie Memory Loss. Again, townies and NPCs in this neighborhood are highly customized and I recommend getting no townie amnesia mods to prevent their lore from getting wiped out! As there are a few clues in the bios of some of the townies... including long lost twins!
lingeringwillx's Restore Default Names for Sims in Subneighbohoods . This is especially helpful, not only because the townies/NPCs are related to the playable sims, but also, it will help to maintain the alien atmosphere of Sixam with names like Pollination Technicians, Colony Drones or Birth Queens, etc. instead of having EA's default townie/NPC names.

To EA for creating Sixam in the first place, even though it was originally created for the wrong game ;)
Makers of SimPE (especially with the newest version, allowing creation of customized NPCs!)
Mootilda for all her amazing tools, especially LotCompressor, LotAdjustor, HoodChecker, and her tutorial on how to create a custom subhood template.
Numenor for his AnyGameStarter, allowing for the creation of a Uni/NL/OFB only environment.
@lowedeus for his original skybox, which I recolored and modified to make the skybox season-friendly, as well as @criquette-was-here for the tutorial on how to make nhood objects glow at night.
Gwenke for the original ocean surface nhood deco, which I also recolored and modified to make it glow at night.
@catherinetcjd for all her inspring builds and also for being such an amazing friend. I recommend her Isosceles Apartments, Experiment 4.2, The Colony as well as her Pyramid Commune No. 9 Live, specifically as optional additional lots for this neighborhood. I learned a lot from you in the past few years of neighborhood and lot building!
Creusa Sims for her support and love while I was creating this neighborhood. It was fun discussing some of the lore in this neighborhood with you. XD
@lordcrumps for also being such an amazing friend! It was you who kept pushing me to actually redo the skybox when I wasn't happy with the draft version, lol! And also for your helpful inputs very early on. ^^
@lamare-sims for being such a talented modder and her amazing mods that make living in university subhoods possible in the first place! This concept wouldn't have otherwise made sense.
That's it for now I guess? I hope you have as much fun with this neighborhood as I had building it! <3
I found this mod by @hugelunatic and then I found that @teaaddictyt made an edit for it which removed the maxis objects and added seeds and fossils. Her edit can be found on her post here.
I decided to build off of it to make it so you could also dig up gems! I used mavicah's 3t2 gems found here. You will need to download these gems for my edit to work properly.
As is mentioned in teaaddicts post, you will also need to download the seeds from Asaryth gardening seeds from @lamare-sims & @tvickiesims mod found here and fossils from Decat here for this edit of teaaddict's edit to work properly.
Thank you, @teaaddictyt for making your edit! Adding these gems took a hot minute and removing the maxis objects, and adding seeds would have taken longer. I also would have never thought to add fossils! And thank you cc creators for making objects that let us be more immersed in our games!
Accessory Edit of Jacky93Sim and Wisteria Ocean Necklace
Hello, everyone!
@jacky93sims converted Wisteria's Ocean Necklace. Can be found on her page here
I've made an edit of it here to put the necklace in the accessory/necklace category instead of the glasses category, since I'm so picky about organizing my things :)
Felt some type of way and decided we needed more showers! Everything has a dirty state and most everything has 2 subsets. I hope you like it, please let me know if you experience issues!
These items do require LordCrumps' 4t2 shadow file
*UPDATE 24 Feb 2025: all shower/tub combos updated to be compatible with Pets pack (no longer throws an error when trying to wash your pups)
Is it possible to make Internal Wall Shower Head, Almost Invisi Shower 2.0, Steamy Times Shower function like the Strut Your Stuff Communal Shower in that sims can be in the same bathroom and shower using these showers? Like a gym bathroom or university dormitory bathroom.
If it is, if you don't want to do it, could you advise me on how to edit the showers to make it so myself? It probably would have to do with SimPE.
Hello! This is my first sims 2 mod edit post! Exciting!
I've edited @alfredaskew More Eye Defaults mod which can be found here: https://gardenofshadows.org.uk/gardenofshadows/index.php?topic=37703.msg754342#msg754342

I haven't put the normal base game defaults in my edits as I use the base game defaults edited by Phobia in the above link.
In addition to changing the eyes to Sarhra eyes, I've also changed the recessive and dominant values of the defaults as is listed below.

You can now find and download Strangertown on either Mod The Sims and/or my public folder via Mega.
Please note: there are no new updates included, this is simply a re-upload of the most recent October 2021 version.
Please also note that the Mega folder includes all parts of Strangertown in one convenient place: Sims, Lots, Terrain Map, Main Hood, and both Bella/no Bella Subhoods. Yay!
To start off this simblr, here's something I've just finished.
This is an object for the Sims 2 that lets you manually choose a lifetime want for your sim, instead of cycling one by one!
I made it while working on 50 new lifetime wants and realizing what a huge pain it is to go through them in testing. If only we could just choose an LTW, I thought. Well, :)
All my mods that I have made are here. I am working on a revamp of the Loner mod.
Description included. You'll have to find the original post to look at conflicts, I just can't be bothered to type it all out, I apologize. Just type in heathensimmer and then the name of the mod and you'll find it.
Mods from HeathenSimmer aka YourSims2guru 3T2 TRAITS ADVENTUROUS-VACATION WANTS Description: Sims with the adventurous trait or those
Hi! So for the long time I've been using veronavillequiltingbee's Personal Wants Tree mod and I've pondered "could I ever make a Wants Tree of my own - without breaking them?" I've never actually tried too much because I wasn't too much tech savvy to mess with that kind of files, but then I saw Riftwalker's Wants Trees and saw a commenter want to combine that mod with Fewer Hobby Wants, so I said "why not?" and got to work reading tutorials and the like. Gladly, I ended up with a Wants Tree that I loved and also learnt a thing or two in the process!
This Want Tree file includes the following:
Riftwalker's Wants Tree
Go Steady Want for Adults and Elders*
Fixed Break Up Want for Teens, Adults and Elders; both for Steady and Marriage
New Family Member Want for Teens and Children of All Aspirations
University related Wants enabled for All Aspirations
Engagement Want and Left at Altar Fear enabled for All Aspirations
*You need another mod to enable those interactions. Mine only enables the want.
Note: I disabled Teen Woohoo wants for the most part. I still have the file without that feature as a backup so I can upload it if requested. Uploaded.
Lamare's Wants Tree
University Career Wants Enabled
Careers now roll based on Interests rather than Aspirations (Adults Only)
You may want to get Lamare's getUniCareerWithoutEducation from the original post. Or not.
SnorkackSearcher's Wants Tree
No Talk or Blog About Hobby Wants
Hobby Wants are Restricted by Personality
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Backup your original WantTrees.package. This package is located at:
For the old-school version: EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Mansion and Garden Stuff\TSData\Res\Wants
For the new-school UC version: Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Fun with Pets\SP9\TSData\Res\Wants
2. Rename matti_WantTrees.package to just WantTrees.package.
3. Replace WantTrees.package in the game installation folder with the one you downloaded (not your Downloads folder).
KNOWN ISSUES
Engagement and Steady wants may roll at the same time.
Sims may roll Steady wants towards their spouses.
Teens may still get the 20 Woohoo LTW despite the wants being disabled. A workaround is to just reroll the LTW with a mod such as Sim Blender.

So you're a Sims 2 Legacy player who wanted to install some modular stairs? Maybe a lighting mod? You installed Scriptorium and you enter your game and suddenly your foundation is missing or crashes your game whenever you try to place it. Or maybe your pools and rooves have fences in them?
(images sourced from Lazy Duchess Discord server)
WTF did I do?
You've broken your script files!
Currently they look like this:
When they should look like this:
What do the script files do?
They give the game instructions and settings for certain build items that are generated by the game engine such as walls, foundations, pools, modular stairs, fireplaces, rooves, awnings and more. Lighting also uses scripts for some things. Some of these items require the scripts to display in catalog or at all.
How did this happen??
So i've seen two different ways, firstly, the auto installer installs in the wrong location. So what does the player do? They moves the files into the correct location.
The issue with this is the script files that Scriptorium creates when it can't find your game files are missing ALL of the original script lines. Then when you replace your existing script files with these, you basically are replacing your script files with a blank one (minus the Scriptorium lines).
Second way, when manually installing, the player deletes the contents of the original script files and replaces it with the Scriptorium lines.
This results in the same outcome shown in the example script.
Why does this affect only Legacy players?
Legacy uses different file paths. Scriptorium was last updated after M&G came out. The auto installer was made to work with the discs in both their original and compilation file paths. For example, Double Deluxe\Base or Sims 2, or Fun with Pets\SP9 etc. All other versions up until this point have used these paths so they never experienced this issue. EA decided to do something different this time and go by EP/SP numbers. So the installer gets confused and places them in the wrong place.
How do I fix this??
A few options, reinstall or repair your game, or replace the broken script files with the ones below. Place them in your C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 2 Legacy\Base\TSData\Res\Catalog\Scripts folder. You may need to delete the files first that you are replacing and cut and paste the new ones in.
Download Original Scripts
But I still want to use Scriptorium?
Once you have replaced your broken scripts, follow these manual instructions that I have modified from the original Scriptorium post for Legacy users.
Go to C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 2 Legacy\Base\TSData\Res\Catalog\Scripts
And open the fireplaces.txt and copy and paste the line below at the bottom of this file without deleting the existing text.
wildInclude "Scriptorium_Fireplaces*.*"
Then save.
If you have issues with saving due to permissions, cut and paste the files to desktop while you are editing them and move them back after
Next open modularstairs.txt and add the text below
wildInclude "Scriptorium_ModularStairs*.*"
Then open walls.txt and add the text below
wildInclude "Scriptorium_Walls-Fences-Arches*.*"
While remaining in your Scripts folder, Create 3 new folders and call them
Select these 3 folders and right click and choose copy.
Now go to Documents\EA Games\Sims 2 Legacy\Downloads (if you do not have a Downloads folder, create one)
Then right click and press paste shortcut
If you want to use custom lights as well, follow these steps
If your lighting.txt is also empty, this is a copy of the original version
Download Lighting Script
Go to C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 2 Legacy\Base\TSData\Res\Lights
Open lighting.txt and add
wildInclude "Scriptorium_CustomLights*.nlo"
While still in the Lights folder
Create a folder called Scriptorium_CustomLights
If you already have a folder called CEP3_CustomLights, rename it to Scriptorium_CustomLights
Right click on this folder and copy it
Then go to Documents\EA Games\Sims 2 Legacy\Downloads and paste shortcut
And you are all done :D
If you have any issues, feel free to leave a comment or send a message!
