I’ve been in a very bad shape lately, i can barely stand up and walk, yesterday i was on the edge of passing out. My only everyday food is arepa (venezuelan typical food made of corn dough), and we don’t have any money to affort anything else.
Is there any way to get paypal in Venezuela? Please let me know, i really need the money to maintain my family.
Help my friend, please.
So I finally had the chance to watch 3 of the 4 new Mao Mao episodes (still waiting for an opportunity to watch Weapon of Choice) when they appeared on youtube.
So how many people prior to Small thought that Mom Mao died?
Speaking of which,
“My mother said to slap that baby” ?
Did he really say that?

Spread this around; remind the world that for every Nazi, there’s an entire train full of sensible people capable of basic moral behaviour.

hi everybody! during my freshman year of college, i experienced burnout countless times, and you likely will, too. thankfully, burnout is usually avoidable! here are my tips on avoiding it!! xx
1. go to bed at a decent time! i can’t express enough how important sleep is. if you are physically or mentally exhausted, you’re going to burn out way more quickly. having a steady sleep schedule is the most important thing to do to avoid burnout!!
2. make time for yourself! don’t study all the time- spend time practicing self-care and doing things you enjoy. it’ll pay off in the long run!
3. space everything out! don’t schedule all of your meetings and responsibilities in one or two days. tackle just a couple of things a day! this one may seem a little obvious, but i constantly see students over working themselves because they try to procrastinate doing everything until the last minute and have to do it all in one day.
4. divide and conquer! this sort of goes along with #3, but don’t cram everything you need to study into one night! divide up the topics covered on the exam/quiz and study one or two groups of topics a night!
5. give yourself a day off! this may be difficult to maintain, but do your best to work your schedule to give yourself one day off a week. for me, over the school year, my scheduled weekly day off was sunday. i did my best to do all my weekend homework on friday and saturday so that i could relax on sunday without a stack of responsibilities on my mind!
6. seek help if you need it! most (if not every) colleges have an on-campus psychologist. if you’re having a lot of trouble balancing all your responsibilities and managing your stress, seeing a psychologist may help! on-campus psychologists are experienced trained specifically to help students, so they will undoubtedly have tips to deal with everything. there is no shame in seeking help! if you’re in high school or middle school, you could see your guidance counselor!
7. love the work you do! find value in all of your assignments and notes. this will make them look less like assignments and more like learning experiences!
thanks for reading! if you have any questions or need someone to talk to, feel free to message me! xx

if anyone would like to learn a couple tricks for carving pumpkins:
- dont cut out the top to scoop out the seeds, cut out the bottom instead. this way the pumpkin doesnt cave in on itself and lasts longer - sprinkle some cinnamon inside at the top after carving. this way when you put the candle in it smells like pumpkin pie
this is the quality content I wanna see on my dash
- rub the i sides with lemon after you’re done scooping. This will also help preserve the pumpkin
It’s fucking June, at least wait until the fourth of July, you animal.
I’m sorry, I can’t hear you over the sound of me disemboweling this pumpkin.

There is no perfect politician no matter how much you personally like them and just because they appeal to you more than another candidate does at the moment doesn’t mean that is enough for them to win the Presidency.
The primary process is long. Democratic voters really need to stop aligning with blind loyalty to one person this early and actually keep a halfway open mind to let other candidates make their case.
“They did a thing I don’t like once so I refuse to ever vote for them ever,” is the opposite of helpful.

On w*ndigoag:
W*ndigoag/w*ndigo are sacred Algonquian spirits that have spread to other Anishinaabe cultures. They aren’t worshiped or whatever, they are feared.
They’re the physical embodiments of evil, the result of a person falling into the trap of greed and cruelty, usually in the form of cannibalism. Our fear not only stems from the spirits and the danger they pose to others, but also their implications and the constant reminder that anyone can become a monster if they allow themselves to.
They are not bipedal deer and I have no idea where that concept came from. Most traditional depictions show them as humanoid giants made of ice, usually with the body of the person they came from encased inside.
In some stories, they’re killed by people, usually via fire. In others, they can only be killed by luring them to a body of water and getting the attention of a water spirit to fight it.
There’s very, very few stories where the person can be saved. The transformation into a w*ndigo is not a reversible one, and the only real way to save someone from that existence is to free them with death.
We censor their names because, traditionally, we’re taught not to say them out loud in case we get the attention of one or summon one. This is especially important during winter or at night.
They are not benign spirits. They are not kind. They are not rational. They are evil and cruel, and their only desires center around killing and eating. They’re as rational and logical as a wild raccoon in the late stages of rabies.
You cannot work with them. They can’t be bound, and they definitely can’t be bought or sold. Do not trust any spirit who claims to be a w*ndigo and do not trust any spirit worker who tries to sell you one.
W*ndigoag are Algonquian and Anishinaabe spirits. Algonquian people are the authorities on them, other Anishinaabe people less so. Non-Anishinaabe Natives cannot say that appropriation of w*ndigoag is okay because that isn’t their culture and it’s definitely not their decision to make. You cannot give someone permission to use something that isn’t yours.
The use of w*ndigoag in non-Native media is appropriation. The only exception to this is in when the creators work with Algonquian people to make respectful and accurate depictions. You’ll be very hard pressed to find cases of this.
W*ndigoag are not cryptids because they are sacred spirits. Abrahamic angels are not cryptids. Japanese yokai are not cryptids. Vodou loa are not cryptids. Respect indigenous beliefs as legitimate spirituality instead of reducing our cultures down to bastardized stories.
If you aren’t Anishinaabe, you cannot be “wendigokin”. Appropriation of indigenous spirituality isn’t suddenly okay because your ~soul~ is an indigenous spirit. You are not entitled to our cultures or spiritual beliefs. Jfc.
“Wendigocore” is also bullshit, what the fuck is wrong with you all? Our sacred spirituality is not your ugly ass aesthetic.
(Left those uncensored because it’s a summer afternoon and I want people in those tags to see this. Fuck off.)
Anishinaabe people are not obligated to share our SACRED STORIES with outsiders in order for them to be respected. We don’t want you to make your depictions of w*ndigoag in your stories more accurate. We just want you to leave our cultures alone for once.
Now please stop sending me messages about w*ndigoag. I understand you all just want to learn but I am so fucking tired. I’ve answered these questions dozens of times and I need a break.
Don’t start discourse on this post. I am not in the mood for it.
If any Algonquian or other Anishinaabe people have corrections, hmu.
Guys, please watch Twelve Forever.
Hey guys so, as you all may know I’m a huge animation fan. I love cartoons and get excited when I see a new animated series show up in the scene.
Which is why I think if you are a fan of a feel good/fun time cartoon series, I def think you should all watch Twelve Forever that Just hit Netflix.
Like seriously, if you were ever a fan of cartoon series like chalkzone or Fosters home for imaginary friends, then I highly recommend this series. I just finished it and it was such a delight and every episode put a huge smile on my face.
All of the characters have such a unique and whimsical style to it that only reminds me of a classic Cartoon Network series. The world of Endless has such a unique setting to it that it basically encapsulates how even the weirdest of shit can happen at any time, and I loved it.
Also I loooooooooooooooove this shows representation of the LGBT community. Like there are two characters who are , without a doubt, gay and in a relationship. And I love how the show portrays the relationship in a loving and healthy manner.
Also Reggie the main character, actually crushes on a girl and it is literally the cutest thing ever.
This show also tackles serious subjects like, a child struggling to make sense of a mom or dad leaving because of a divorce, fears of abandonment, and above all the fear of growing up.
And I think the show does a great job in portraying all of those issues in a very realistic way that would make sense to not only a kid, but to adults as well.
The reason I’m even making this post is because, Unfortunately, Netflix’s algorithm on what shows will show up recommended on their website is so flawed that you wouldn’t even be able to find this show unless manually tried to find this show on your own. So unless you’ve been following this shows production since the pilot came out, you wouldn’t even know this show just came out. Which sucks because I really want this show to get a second season and that can only happen if enough people watch it.
So guys please, give this show a try and support it so that Netflix knows we want more of twelve forever . If you want to just sit back and enjoy a great cartoon, this show is right up your alley.
