I’m curious why you claim Sandor isn’t sexually attracted to Sansa when it’s pretty clear he and Tyrion and Littlefinger all are? Littlefinger molests her, Tyrion says he wants her, and even though shippers deny it, the Hound tries to rape her at knifepoint but Sansa’s singing moves him and he can’t follow through. He later confesses that was his intention to Arya though.

Okay, so as for Tyrion and Littlefinger, I would say that they’re both creeps in the books, but only Tyrion is less creepy in the show (Littlefinger is fcked up in both).
And now for Sandor.
In my opinion, no, he’s not a creep who’s attracted to a child, because the “confession” you’re referring to was just something vile that Sandor came up with to anger Arya into putting him out of his misery when he was dying.
Of course, Arya didn’t fall for it, and left him there to bleed out.
In the show, the writers made it pretty clear that their relationship wasn’t inappropriate, but I can see why people get a bit confused with their relationship in the books, because to most, GRRM writes in riddles that seem hard to understand.
My view on it is that Sansa has probably developed a bit of a childhood crush on Sandor due to the trauma-bonding.
Sandor didn’t try to SA Sansa, he made her sing a song, this plays into his grief of losing his innocence when he was younger, and he resents when Sansa sings about knights and idealistic things, it was a moment of anger and bitterness that turned into sadness.
The “unkiss” didn’t actually happen either, as it was confirmed that Sansa is an unreliable narrator and that this was some kind of false memory.
All of this aside, if Sandor was attracted to Sansa, that would be p*dophilia, and very messed up, and I think that writing fanfiction about this and romanticising grooming and child abuse is extremely disturbing and gross, no matter what anyone says.
As someone who likes Sandor’s character (especially in the show), I would really hope that my interpretation is true, (which I’m pretty sure it is because I read that GRRM confirmed SanSan is not canon, although it could’ve been hearsay) because he has a beautiful redemption arc, and I wouldn’t want it to be ruined by him becoming a sexual predator like his brother, or Daemon Targaryen from Fire & Blood.
I have a hard time understanding if you are talking about show!Sandor or Book!Sandor because thet are as much different from each other as show!Tyrion is from book!Tyrion and say otherwise is a lie. I love show Tyrion with all my heart but i will never lie to protect book Tyrion from the truth of his horrible and disgusting actions, but the same is valid for book Sandor!
Show!Sandor and Show!Tyrion see Sansa as their family and Show!Sansa does the same for them, but book!version is VERY different.
first of all GRRM said that Sansa misremember the kiss but not that Sandor was there in her room and that he pushed her on bed with a knife, that is canon since the author himself said it! - Sansa remember is correct except the kiss because she has just a small touch of unreliability.
now we can discuss about the fact that show!Sandor would never push a girl on her bed asking for a love song between a ugly older knight and a beautiful younger lady - because THIS is the song book!Sandor asked for - and i will support you but what we can not do is lying saying that GRRM said that the ship is not canon when he said otherwise! HE KNOWS people like it and instead of saying no, he says that he see why and its in books!
he had the opportunity to say that it was not canon at all in his books when the interviewer said him that it was just a weird ship and show fans were looking too much into it but he said NO. He said that there is something there, that he played with it in the books. Damn, this man even has fanarts of them on wall!
