Design Concept| Graduate Collection: A research into mummification techniques formed the inspiration for my final year Graduate collection in 2014. Shrouds or fabrics such as linen were torn into strips and used as bandages for mummification in Ancient Egypt. 

This idea and techniques translated into designing my garments through the manipulation of lines that was shown in different directional ways and covered up designs in soft natural linen fabrics.
