why must the trans woman always be an oppressor? why must she constantly prostrate herself and apologize for abuses that she has not committed yet? why must she self flagellate for all to see about "checking her privilege". why must she continue to bear the brunt of abuses hurled her way because "trans women can be x" or "trans women can do bad things too". Yet when she speaks up about the abuses she faces, accusations can be levied against her with little to no evidence. and when people are reluctant to believe you just fabricate her being racist, or a pedophile, or another various kind of abuser, because eventually everyone will believe you. she's a trans woman, she must have done something wrong, right? dig through her old socials and im sure she said something wrong 10 years ago when she was 15 and just figuring stuff out and just learning about the world. the trans woman must be ostracized from society and her community because she is a trans woman. how dare she speak up about the ways she is oppressed and the ways she is abused, because it cant be worse than the ways I am oppressed and abused. and when it is, just create a straw woman who is. we will never be good enough for you and must be kept beaten down and isolated to make it easier to stomach the fact that you are socially murdering us.
That life360, track your kids'/spouses' phones is nutty. Fuck off! You do not need to know the location of everyone at every time. There is a very limited number of cases where tracking in this way helps and they are all extremely rare
Honestly I think it should be illegal. Nutty that your parents can just force an ankle monitor on you.
Like there are just so few good use cases for these things. The list of use cases that aren't abusive partner is "I'm horribly paranoid about kidnapping and violence in the modern world despite it being safer than at any point in the last 40 years". Unfortunately people who think that way are very set on it and have a media empire bent on feeding them DANGEROUS CRIMINALS COMING TO MURDERIZE YOU content endlessly so it's surveillance forvever
Im making a short horror movie about the digital existences
Its here !!
SAD! fandom treats man-hating lesbian who canonically encourages the men around her to transition into women as a TERF instead of writing a shit ton of forcefem porn
I wouldn’t go that far
If you hate narcissistic people you need to unfollow me. Only people who love and support narcissists are allowed on this blog.
For anyone who's still around and wants to be educated, "narcissism" is a personality disorder, which is a fancy way of saying that it's a way of existing, which has real disadvantages, but which has also been effectively criminalized by the medicarceral system. If you hate narcissists, you are complicit in the ongoing social processes which deny them bodily autonomy, human connection, and basic dignity.
Narcissism/being narcissistic/having NPD is not a moral failing. Treating narcissistic people like shit is.
If you don't have NPD it's actually more important you reblog this. It's been really great seeing a lot of people with NPD react to this really positively, but I need everyone who does not have NPD to enforce this for their own blogs too.
friendly reminder to ppl who don't have NPD
-NPD has one of the highest suicide rates of any mood related disorder; slightly less impulsivity based attempts than BPD, but NPD sufferers are more likely to succeed in their attempts.
-NPD, like most cluster B disorders, is generally traumagenic, meaning it usually develops as a means of coping with childhood trauma, abuse, or neglect.
-"Narc abuse" is pop psychology with no real basis in reality. NPD sufferers are infinitely more likely to be abused than become abusers, and are typically more prone to self destructive than anything.
-If your parents sucked shit, it's because they *chose* to treat you like shit, not because they had a magic version of NPD that makes them a Bad Person. sorry you had to find out this way.
-Random people online with NPD aren't your parents and it's really creepy to project your trauma onto them.
treat the NPD sufferers in your life like people or die trying.

Beep boop! I look for accidental haiku posts. Sometimes I mess up.
any social interaction is deeply exhausting when you operate on the basis of “i am deeply unbearable when i relax and am truly myself and therefore even with good friends i need to constantly calculate how much i will allow of my genuine personality to shine through”
Gay /pos /hj
which part is the half-joke the gay part or the pos part. my friend hannah wants to know
hold on anon she has another question
Hazy nostalgic flashback montage but instead of a dead wife it’s a defunct kebab shop
just saw an entire thread of people sincerely describing a content creator's pattern of posting a large amount of content and then taking breaks as "obviously grooming her audience" via "love bombing and ghosting" which i think could have been a really exciting innovation during the steven universe discourse era of tumblr
I've started to see another increase in the absurd argument that, "saying transfemininity is more heavily punished than transmasculinity ignores that feminists fought and died for the right to be masculine," and I thought I'd just summarise some of the many issues with it:
It imagines a historical time and place where gender transgression was once equally harshly punished in both directions, a time and place that has never existed.
It presumes that historical transfeminine people didn't also fight and die for their right to be feminine.
It counters a claim about the state of the world today by just suggesting one theory about how the world ended up that way, which even if true is irrelevant to the question of the justice of the world as it is now.
It presumes that transmasculine rights are naturally within the realm of feminist activism, while transfeminine rights are not.
It ignores that the relative lack of interest from cis and transmasc feminists in defending transfeminine rights is just another example of the inequality being complained of in the first place.
It seems to suggest by symmetry that a "masculinist" movement made up of principally cis men would be the natural vehicle through which transfeminine rights might be won, the utter absurdity of which idea is yet another demonstration of the underlying inequality to which the word "transmisogyny" refers.
It positions the current severity of transmisogyny as a failure of activism (or a failure to convince the wider public that we're not a threat), which is just victim-blaming.
It presumes an ignorance of feminist history on the part of the transfem who is being argued with, a presumption which is in itself transmisogynistic.
It ignores that conditions have generally improved somewhat for transfeminine people too.
Depending on the phrasing, it often but not always presumes (without acknowledging that it is doing so) a US-centred understanding of feminist history that may have little relevance to the transfem being argued with if she e.g. lives in India.
It's quite amazing really how many problems there can be with such a brief argument.
It's like complaining that you did 10 hours of chores this week while your brother did 1, only for your brother to reply that you should just get better at negotiating with your parents like he did. And even then, the "negotiations" were something you both took part in and were in response to an earlier week where you did 15 hours of chores and your brother 6. It's injustice on top of injustice on top of ingratitude on top of victim blaming on top a total lack of giving a shit about anyone's suffering but their own.
i do actually think it's crazy that employers get a say over shit like tattoos and piercings and we just let that happen
if you look cool as fuck you become unemployable
i do also mean like, face tattoos, yall know that right
besides the obvious that people should have the right to do what they want with their bodies as a form of self expression, the stigma against face tattoos specifically has a long, violent, racist, imperialist history that stretches across the globe
