hello!!!!!!!!! welcome to the intro posttttttttt

you can call me Starr! in case you haven't read the description, i'm a selfshipper/oc x canon shipper, specifically with Tenna from Deltarune!

while i do have a self-insert sona of sorts that i use sometimes, i also have an OC!! however, the OC isn't exactly a reflection of me. her name is Stattie! their ship name is SnowScreen!

i am non-sharing in the sense that you can still interact if you selfship with him too, so long as you dont bring it up on my blog cheese and thanks ^^ peace and love on planet earth

(i may also interact with other selfshippers myself if i really like their art i am willing to walk through hellfire for good art of my man)

Unused Tenna sprites

I made these with @Shy_421's amazing Tenna model and then rendered & manually cleaned up the sprites! Also thanks to @SPAMMiiBUGGii for coming up with the top right sprite's pose!

hii !! i love love love your work >.< apologies if my ask turns out too long or not clear enough, i've been ruminating on this all day and have so many thoughts, and this is my first time doing this lmao

i'm an artist myself and i love drawing my favs, but drawing tenna is so daunting for me that i've only done it maybe 3 times...he can be rather difficult to draw sometimes!! maybe i'll mess up his head shape, or draw his nose a bit too long, or just not capture him well.. and i understand that a lot of other artists might face the same issue too!

but something that helps me sometimes is imagining how he'd react to even my failed drawings. i'm unsure if i can word this well, and i struggle with details- but i can very easily imagine him making a lighthearted joke out of it, or being incredibly grateful ... i mean, in canon he doesn't get fanmail much, let alone fan ART! why wouldn't he be over the moon that someone would draw him, regardless of "quality"? it means someone likes TV enough, likes him enough, to spend the time and effort creating something just for him! he'd be over the moon, i'm sure!

i dunno, just something i've been thinking about all day after yet another failed drawing of him lol XP i'm not the best with details it's just a thought of mine that makes me feel better sometimes ..

you’re so right about this! This is something I often think about myself when I doodle my favorite characters. He’d be overjoyed just to know that someone cares that much! Golly, all that passion, just for him? It’s a dream come true!

that’s amazing! Look at your skilled little Lightner hands, do you realize what you’re doing? You’re making lines and putting them together in a way that invokes HIS image!! That’s incredible!! It’s miraculous that you can do that in the first place, no one can expect you to get everything 100% exact or true to reality. What matters is that you made that, with your own two hands, just because you like him that much. He’s delighted.

he’d probably squeal like a little girl if he ever caught sight of your drawings. Think it’s just the cutest thing, giggle and tap his feet and put your art up on the fridge. “Don’t be embarrassed, darling, this is wonderful! My sweetheart likes me so much they need to make more of me! What, can’t get enough of me, honey? That’s what I love to hear!”

i preordered that Tenna zine that ive been keeping tabs on finally (i got the digital bundle) and im so so excited for it but also im SO FUCKING SCARED RIGHT NOW because my parents can still see my purchase history (despite being 18) and if they ask me about this. oh boy

my friend helped me build an explanation to hopefully throw em off but i know theyre gonna give me an earful about my spending (i havent spent that much on unnecessary purchases and the one big purchase i made was necessary because that was for a Fucking Commission) and its gonna suck and im gonna Die

every time one of my friends affirms my dumbass selfship (for example, the text one of my friends sent me encouraging me to do my laundry with "if u do it tenna will give you a BIIIG smooch in ur dreams", or other such silly comments related to him) it makes me smile biiiiiiiiiig and wide and makes me click my heels in joy

...unfortunately the other edge to this sword is that they can use him against me to make me shut up or make me flustered
