What does it mean?

My Interpretation:

I thought of this while taking the picture and it just randomly hit me, but made perfect sense. As I photograph my beautiful friend, I become distracted by these white bars that essentially, block her beauty from the camera. This is seen in our society. White culture, much of the time, attempts to trump and silence black culture through imprisonment and deception. Yet, our melanated skin and thick curly hair will forever be a desired “product”. Now we are left to watch through the bars that block us as society exploits our BLACK attributes... We know.

Just some inspiration to send to all my followers, viewers, and haters! “On the Block, In the Cut” (name of photo, sounded cool) is a sample photo I posted on me personal IG page: https://www.instagram.com/all_saintz/ | But it just shows that I practice my craft -- photography -- all the time! I bring my camera everywhere because you never know what incredible imagery you’ll run into! But photography is just one example, there a plenty of arts, talents, crafts, etc. out there for people to learn and create with. Whatever that may be, be the best at it in YOUR OWN way! The more personal it is to you, and the more of “YOU” you put in it, the more unique and original it will be, because there is no one else in the world like YOU. (unless you’re an identical twin or conjoined... idk what to tell you)
