Now 51, David is the third oldest actor to inherit Doctor Who's lead role.  He's four years younger than William Hartnell and Peter Capaldi when they debuted, one year older than Jon Pertwee, and 16 years older than Tenth Doctor actor David Tennant, to whom the Fourteenth Doctor actor David Tennant may be distantly related.  (They look almost identical.) Whew, who are we kidding?  It's him!  The one and only.  David Tennant is back - 12 years, nine months and 22 days after he hung up his Converse and regenerated into Matt Smith.  The world has changed a lot since New Year's Day 2010, but David looks the same.  Maybe he's an actual time traveler.
