By setting smaller/less number of goals today, I actually got my to-do list completed! 😊 And I was a whole lot more productive too.

새해 복 많이 받으세요 !!! Happy new year !!
Today is 1st anniversary of the day i took my first korean class!! and i think i never post any of my korean notes before :( My writing was sooo childish back then and i was making so many little mistakes that you can even spot some on those pictures like in 이름이 뭐예요, not 뭐여요 … But still, I studied hard and i’m kinda pround of the level i have today ! I’ll try the TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean ) this year and may be an exchange student in Seoul , time flies! Never give up !

Good tips!
Take this as a sign to create. To embrace. To really feel and engage with the world around you. To experience life; for its beauty and its sadness, to see both and accept both. Be delighted because of the small things: the smiles, the rainbows, the lights, and the book pages. Be delighted because of all the big things yet to come, too: the strangers who become essential, the creations you’ll make, the knowledge you’ll gather, the affection you’ll give and receive. There is so much waiting, and it’s up to you how you experience it. Live life like you’ve always wanted, and don’t let anything hold you back.
Hello 2019 !
Happy New Year!
Korean Study, Day 1 // 한국어 공부 1일
It's been a while since I practiced Korean properly, since my 2018 was so busy. Safe to say, I'm quite rusty! So, to help me get back into the swing of things, I've dug out my old copy of the Talk To Me In Korean 100 Day Study Journal, with the intention of actually studying for 100 days this time. Hopefully this will help me to carry on throughout 2019 after the 100 days are up, too!
Along with the journal, I'm also using these cute post-it notes from Sentimental Circus, and good ol' fashioned Sharpies.
Let's study hard!! // 열심히 공부하자!!

Welcome to 2019 - the FAQ
the year where I explore me, and bring you along for the journey.
What is this blog? Why am I writing this?
This blog consists of the ramblings of an English student as she goes through 2019.
I've been thinking of starting a blog for a while, a sort of chronicle of my journey through life. When is there a better time in life to do so than at New Year? You can think of this blog as a totally honest 'diary’ where I'm going to keep track of my journey as I attempt to painstakingly stick to the resolutions I make for 2019.
What are my 2019 resolutions?
They're pretty simple, actually. I've got three of them:
1) Stop procrastinating.
2) Confidence, confidence, confidence!
3) Start eating more healthily!
Who am I?
First of all, Hi! If you've read all that above and you're still here, then hopefully you're wondering who the slightly peculiar woman behind all this writing is. Well, you've come to the right place.
I'm a twenty-something British university student who is hoping to change my life just a little during the course of 2019.
I am studying the English Language at degree level. I've chosen my resolutions carefully as I believe they will help with my studies, and possibly even start to mould me into shape for my future career as a teacher.
I've always been a somewhat relatively shy and introverted person. This year I want to change that. I want to take opportunities which will push me to be more confident (also something extremely important for my chosen career path! 😁)
Aside from my resolutions, I also have a few other small goals and wishes for the year ahead; Challenging myself to actually keep up with Korean studies for an entire year is one of them. Oh, and keeping up with this blogging thing every day for 365 days...
So, now I've outlined my plan, are you ready to join me on my journey through 2019?
