Things Nobody Told Me

#1 When you get pregnant, sometimes your belly gets hairy. #2 When you're pregnant, your employers cut your hours just to be assholes. And sometimes they won't even offer a maternity leave. Mine is going to be a 6 week unpaid leave and I'll be lucky if I get that. I want to love on my daughter, why are people so cruel? All I want is to love on my newborn. Unfair workforce. #3 People bitch when your doctor won't allow certain things such as lifting, because they're self centered and don't want to help out, but you don't want to put your baby's health at risk. So you don't. #4 Hypermesis Gradverium is not fun and seems never ending. If you have it, get Diclegis, I promise it will help. #5 When you're pregnant and you throw up hard enough you pee yourself. #6 More people than you'd think will talk smack on a pregnant woman. #7 you have no friends anymore. #8 You won't recognize your nipples anymore. #9 Baby bumps are cute when you don't feel just fat. #10 Pregnant people share. The workplace is unfair and pregnancy isn't all shits and giggles.
