Over a decade ago, a pair of scientists took on a project to make supermutant soldiers. Due to an accident, a fire destroyed their lab midway through, leaving the subjects they treated assumed dead. However, when the subjects are discovered living in the sewers of New York thanks to a slightly too curious college student, one half of the pair takes it upon himself to finish what they started...

Pepper (or Dr. Pepper, as Grace often calls her) is a vet/conservationist tasked to help take care of Grace on his arrival to Erid. She does accidentally treat Grace like a pet for... an embarrassing amount of time. Sprite and Cola are her mates, and a historian and jeweler respectively. Pepper eventually joins a crew to set out and save more stars, as well as search for any other living creatures in the nearby solar systems (and, yes, this is an excuse to involve my dear @cadoodledoodleydoo's precious Aven, you can't STOP ME!)
