i've always wondered what human speech would look like visually in the POV of eridians in the same way eridian speech is written as music notes in the book and my favorite version of it i've seen in fics is when words are written as phonetics in rocky's POV :-) oh and also that one post about rocky and grace figuring out random words they can say in the other's language

So sorry for the late post! I had intended to post last week, but I was too excited to share this new piece, so decided to wait another week until I could finish it.

If my memory serves me right, I actually started this artwork late last year, a sketch in my sketchbook, and my second major full background piece. And, well, obviously, it took FOREVER. The lineart took 13 hours alone, and after that I did NOT wanna draw foliage, so tried out the same kind of sorta lineless style I used in Sol’s expression sheet. Definitely like it!

Anyway! Please welcome the official introduction of The Jester! Better known as OJ, they are Sol’s best friend and the god of fate. Not sure how much I’ll reveal yet so time will tell

my fave baron draxum fact is that he said he used turtles specifically because they were so built for defence so if he mixed them with lou jitsu’s offensive strength he would have a grand army. makes sense, right? but then you look at donnie. he specifically chose a spiny softshell. a turtle that isn’t built for defence like, at all. it has a soft shell. and you look at this and your first thought is oh ok plot hole it’s a kids show whatever. and i say no. when you look at it like it’s purposeful the actual reason is so much funnier. spiny softshells are one of the most aggressive breeds of turtles and will bite if given the chance to. they also have a decently powerful bite. baron draxum chose 3 turtles specifically for defence and then also decided to choose 1 guy specifically to just be feral and chow down. assigned violent at birth.

Wanted something nice and easy to work on this week so decided to digitalise another sketch from my sketchbook. I imagine Roe and Leo don’t get along initally, with Roe being this weird, mysterious creature who would happily pilfer his home, whilst, to Roe, Leo is far to nosy for their liking, catching them always at the worst time.

Overtime it definitely turns into a mutual annoy eachother type of dynamic - prank wars are no doubt common between them - but ultimately, whilst their tolerance does grow into a reluctant affection, not much changes.

FUNMIX is a new brand that specialises in heavy weaponry. Occasionally, they produce clothing and other merchandise. One thing is certain: FUNMIX values form over function.

Why does that splatling have little balls floating in it? Why does so many of their gear have unnecessary accessories attached to it? FUNMIX says: "We don't know, we just think it looks cool."
