Idk if this a controversial opinion or not but genuinely I find most of the Hexhaven schools from Reality Fracture more interesting than the Strixhaven schools tbh. Like the Strixhaven schools are cool donât get me wrong, but like. Hexhaven is built different. Really hope thereâs enough Hexhaven cards to make school-themed decks đ

I hate Amazon for all the obvious reasons (evil, oppressive, bald owner) but a secondary similarly irritating part of the service is the fact that I am too damn impatient. I want my stuff now. I want it now right now. The only reason Iâm using this damn site rn is because I found a significant sum worth of gift cards from several years worth of Christmases and Birthdays that I didnât use because I donât like Waiting For My Purchase and Iâm low on money rn. Genuinely one of the MTG arts that has thrown me for the biggest loop is honestly the OG Giganotosaurus. Like on the surface itâs not that crazy, itâs cool as hell but not necessarily mind shattering. That said;
The fact that this dinosaur has killed a dragon brought up something that I think subconsciously assumed wasnât the fact, which is that yeah. A large dinosaur probably could fuck up a dragon quite severely.
I donât know what level of intelligence this dragon had on a scale of Toothless to Smaug, but if weâre operating under the assumption that itâs at least more intelligent than the average T-Rex, I want to emphasize that I donât think itâs an even fight by any means. I think, in most matchups, the dragon wins if anything because dinosaurs are notoriously not immune to large blasts of fire and can not reach high things (short arms).
That said, I donât think itâs coughing baby versus nuclear bomb levels of disparity. I think itâs more like physically fit human with an assault rifle versus the average incredibly angry chimpanzee. If the dragon is well aware thereâs a dinosaur nearby and is at a fair distance, I think it probably takes. But I think regardless of a dragonâs mythical mystical existence, do you see how flimsy that little shit is next to that giganotosaurus? I mean just the jaw size difference alone is absurd. If youâre trying to tell me that a 1v1 fist fight goes to the dragon and not the barrel-chested heavy weight iguana popping angus steers like tic-tacs youâre drunk.
I didnât know this fact before, but I will say that as an adolescent cancer survivor the fact that this was designed by someone with cancer makes a lot of sense.
