IM DEAD
If weāre all going down I'mĀ going the way I lived, making shitty memes in the face of peril.
This is a MASTERPIECE

Pretty sure that Tumblr is going to become this on December 17
Sometimes good posts are made by annoying people so Iāll help out
These are Safe Shorts. They were made by Sandra Seilz after someone attempted to rape her. If the fabric is torn, an alarm will be sounded.
This is the Rape-aXe, invented by a South African doctor by the name ofĀ Sonnet Ehlers. After interviewing a rape victim who wished she had teeth down there, she made this. If someoneās penis is inserted and pulled back out, the teeth will sink in, and can only be removed by a doctor.
The Killer Tampon (couldnāt find a site for it), made by retired anaesthetist Jaap Haumann. When penetration takes place, the sharp end will slice the offending appendage.
The Anti-Rape Belt (also couldnāt find a site), made by a group of Swedish teenagers led by Nadja Bjƶrk. It requires two hands to undo.
Anti-Rape Underwear/Bra (once again), as made by a group of Indian students. Will deliver an electric shock when met with unwanted advances, as well as sounding an alarm.
Undercover Colours. Made by 4 male undergraduates at North Carolina U, they change colours when in contact with chemicals or drugs that cause unconsciousness. Used in case youāre wary that your drink has been roofied.
These are just tools to help, but in addition to being mindful of your situations and staying safe, they can help when the worst happens.
Stay safe.
ok, those are all kind of awesome. i wish they werenāt needed, bit stillā¦awesome solutions.
I feel more comfortable reblogging this version
RapeAxe has a gofund me up that barely has 700 dollars. I feel like the inventions that havent even been funded yet should be linked to the page you can support them at.
RapeAxe- website which links their gofundme
As of this reblog, Rape-aXe needs to raise $308,537. If you canāt help fund it, please reblog?

What happened to courtoon?
My friend is looking for this cosplayer and Iāve been lookin around and it seems that most of her social media is empty. She took everything out of her YouTube channel. Thereās no pages of her on facebook. I only found her instagram but thatās set to private. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Team Juggernautās first member was illegally acquired way before houndour actually showed up in any dungeons, as a team-joining client so on a whim I named her Orisa because she started out as a sort of protector while Anatolia was still a small egg who missed 60% of the time

Let me tell you about my panda mini-washer
As an apartment dweller, this is a game changer. My current apartment doesnāt have a laundry facility and the closest Laundromat about a 30 min bus ride which is just not practical. The mini-washer is a life saver
The panda mini washer hooks up to the sink, is incredibly lightweight (about 28 pounds, so light even I can lift it) and easy to use.Ā
It has a surprisingly large capacity. The basket from the first picture represents about one and a half loads. The jeans took up a whole load while the rest filled the bin only half way.Ā
Hereās the inside. The left is the washer the right is the spin dryer. Yes, it even drys.
Basically you shove your cloths into the washer, fill it up with water and let it go. I use my shower head to fill it up so it goes faster, the sink hook up took about five minutes to fill the whole tub, with the shower head is is down to a minute an a half. I do it in three wash cycles, a five minute rinse with baking soda, a five minute wash with soap and a three minute rinse with water. You have to drain and refill between each cycle so itās a little more labor intensive than a traditional washer.Ā
Thatās the spin dryer. Itās about half the capacity of the washer so one wash takes about two loads to dry. The spinner is much more effective than I was expecting. A three minute spin gets my cloths about 90% dry. I hang them up to air dry for that last 10%.Ā
The machine cost me about 150$. When you factor in two dollars for the bus, five for the machines (per week), the mini-washer pays for its self after only about six months worth of laundry.Ā
Iām not great at expressing emotion, but Iām hoping you can tell how excited I am. Ā Let me just say that the panda mini-washer is great and I highly recommend it to anyone currently using a Laundromat. Ā
Read this and immediately bought it on Amazon for $180. I spend $15 a week to have my laundry done so this pays for itself in 3 months for me. THANK YOU JESUS.
@ all my nyc pendejas
Oh by the way, they have table top dishwashers that are pretty much the same thing:
This is one of the biggest technological breakthroughs for the everyday homeowner in the current decade: the realization that refrigerators arenāt the only things that can be miniaturized for better affordability and minimal space requirements.
Can you IMAGINE how this is going to change the lives of college students and apartment-dwellers? Or anyone with a lower income who canāt afford a place with āluxuryā appliances like dishwashers and laundry machines?
Thereās an even cheaper option called the Wonder Wash where you tumble the thing yourself and youāll have to line-dry the clothes, but it apparently works very well.
As an apartment dweller, I want to spread this.
Save a life

Scammer Targeting Tumblr Artists
The title says it all really. So if nothing else, please share and reblog this post to raise awareness for those that might be caught out - both artists and followers. For a TL:DR, please look at the bottom of the post
What is happening?
Right now, there is at least one person actively impersonating multiple artists across tumblr in an effort to scam their followers into paying for fake ācheap commissionsā. The scammer will clone a tumblr, usually using a slight change to the url/account name to look like the real deal. They will then message people directly through Tumblr with messages along the lines of āHey, iām doing cheap commissions right now. DM me to get oneā. Naturally, this is ends up just being a way to take their money without giving anything back in return.
Who does this affect?
Everyone. Simple as that. As long as the scammer in question works unopposed, they are free to spread their influence and continue to scam more people. Even if you havenāt been targeted yet, it does not mean you are safe or immune. Several artists have already fallen victim to this scammer, and I encourage any artists that have to reblog this post with the details of their affected account(s) and the ones the scammer has set up.
How can we stop this?
Tumblr, like many other social media platforms, seems to care very little about āminorā occurences like this one, and despite reaching out directly to them over a week ago through multiple avenues of contact - they have refused to comment on the situation, provide a recommended response for users, or take action on behalf of those already affected. Despite this, there are still tools at our disposal that we can use to make this scam more difficult, and to increase its visibility to those within Tumblr staff that are required by policy to take action. Tumblr has the following to say on the topic of impersonation: Confusion or Impersonation. Donāt do things that would cause confusion between you or your blog and a person or company, like registering a deliberately confusing URL. Donāt impersonate anyone. While youāre free to ridicule, parody, or marvel at the alien beauty of Benedict Cumberbatch, you canāt pretend to actually be Benedict Cumberbatch. They then provide a link to this online form that you can fill out if you suspect someoneās identity is being confused. Unfortunately, this can only be filled out if you are the victim of impersonation. In other words, only the artists can fill this out legitimately. So, what about the followers and users of tumblr whom arenāt being impersonated? Our most valuable tool in this online platform is the platform itself. It enables us to spread our word near-virally across all the many sub-communities on Tumblr with remarkable efficiency for a user-driven system. We can take advantage of that effect to increase awareness of the situation. Even if you - the one reading this right now - arenāt an artist or donāt know an artist, the act of reblogging this post or sharing it directly with friends improves itās ārankingā in popularity increasing its chances to be seen by more people. We donāt need everyone on Tumblr to see the post for it to be effective, just like we donāt need the entirety of the human population of the world to be immune to a disease for that disease to be rendered ineffective or eradicated. If enough people are aware, the likelihood of pulling off a successful scam increases dramatically reducing efficiency to a point that it no longer becomes profitable to continue.
Why should I care?
It disheartens me to say this, but of the many artists I contacted directly over the past week to warn about this issue many of them refused to listen or dodged the responsibility with lines like;
āIām not being impersonated, so it doesnāt affect meā
āIām just one person. I canāt make an impactā
āI need to take care of my community. Other people can look after theirsā
This is honestly disappointing that so many artists or art-rebloggers care so little as to intentionally wave the responsibility of keeping their followers and fellow artists safe from this, that they cannot spare 10 seconds of their time to share an informative post. Iām not here to bash artists, but it is time that everyone takes responsibility for their own communities, and of those around them. Artists: You have a responsibility to ensure that your followers and fans arenāt being abused by someone who may impersonate you. If they succeed, your reputation will be damaged, and your followers will resent you. Your followers are also almost guaranteed to be following other artists meaning your efforts can spread beyond your own circle of influence, so donāt be naive when you think you have little effect. Followers: You have just as much responsibility to be aware of those that might try to scam you or your fellow followers. Donāt just sit in silence when you see something wrong: Ignoring the issue only makes it more resilient to our efforts to stop it. You are the vocal majority if you just use your voices to be heard!
TL:DR
A scammer is impersonating artists and scamming money from their followers under the guise of ācheap commissionsā. If we ignore the issue, it will get worse. Every single person that reads this can afford to spend just 10 seconds to reblog and share this post. Those 10 seconds can save others from being scammed for hundreds of dollars. Reblog & Share
I think my followers already know my commission style, as in how I market them and how I run my business. But just in case:
I NEVER outright DM someone to get a cheap commission from me.
I NEVER discuss the terms and conditions of the commission through DM, just through email. I only discuss drawing progresses through DM. Initial contract for commissions will ALWAYS be done through email.
I ALWAYS post my signatureĀ āSaeraās Commissionā or ā#Saeraās Commsā post on my blog to signify Iām currently taking commissions. NEVER through DMs.
Lastly, please please please be aware of the URLs, check the authenticity of the post and always think logically.Ā
Be safe guys! :)
All of the above my friends.
As a note: Iām currently in the middle of con prep and wonāt be taking commissions for a while nor will I ever DM you directly. Be wary of āartistsā sending messages directly guys and be safe.
Reblogging this in case anyone somehow tries to impersonate me (lol): my commissions are currently closed as I work on projects for TCAF and Anime North. I always have my status here on my commissions page: http://om-nom-berries.tumblr.com/commissions
I also will never cold-message people for commissions. I advertise and people message me/email me. Thatās how I always have done stuff, because I donāt have time to do it the other way around lol
Same here, folks. I donāt offer ācheapā commissions, nor do I go around trying to sell them individually. I merely announce them and give a heads up to those who expressed interest in being personally told about the next reopening. Also, my commissions are currently closed.
So if this random assface impersonates me, by any chance, donāt believe them!
As other artists above have already said;
Iāll NEVER send you DMās trying to make you buy a cheap commission. I donāt contact people asking them to commission me, I ALWAYS wait for the client to message me first!
Adding to the above, I NEVER have nor NEVER will send an unsolicited DM about ācheapā commissions.
I DONāT dm the customer first, I donāt DM to fish for people to get commissions and ever since I remade my commission info, I donāt DM details either, itās all in the Google form, I also donāt do ācheapā lmao
If āiā DM you, ask for the form first and get my PayPal email from it and IF YOU DONāT ITS NOT ME
If you do somehow and it was not me, I will know and I will send you your $$$ back
I suck at commissions, I wouldnāt actively DM people to bury myself in more.
