Hi. It's been a while. I don't think anyone cares but I'd like to at least update where I've been.

More art will be here. Eventually. At the minute there isn't much time or willpower. In no particular order here is my explanation.

Big one first. Last month I finally realised that I had been raised in a cult my whole life. Of course, when you're in a cult you don't recognise it. My irl friends, my therapist, and realising I am pansexual fully helped me to go look for the truth and I found it. Everything I was raised to believe in, and told I must die for if needed, is a lie. It's liberating and horrifying to know about all the things I can now do, and all the opportunities I wasted in my life, and how very different and more happy I could be right now.

2. Work and course work. Yes I waited to be nearly in my 30s to do higher education. Nearly done now, one last course set and a dissertation. Hopefully I'll have more time for art after. Good news, I love this new career.

3. My eyesight is bad. It isn't failing - I've always had eye issues and worn glasses and it IS okay, but I've been finding it harder and harder to see details. Couple to that I have always hated colouring (I'd do all line art and sketch ideally but coloured gets more interactions) and when I cannot see different shades easily it makes it even more exhausting. I get migraines squinting into the screen trying to see what I'm doing.

Based on the SCP vid from Horror on the Rocks!

I really wanted to do some designs based on the video from HOTR that was played on Off The Record. There's definitely room for improvement but I got tired working on them haha. Design notes: I based their colours off their channel colours so pink for Hunter and purple for Isaiah. I also tried to show their different content vibes. So Hunter is more obviously creepy (like his animations) and has lots of arms (aka he covers a huge range of topics on Papa Meat). While Isaiah has a friendly front with a dark underbelly (the dark video subjects vs how cosy his delivery is), and a scroll of lore (which is pretty self explanatory lol).

I didn't have high hopes for the next Dune given the quality of the first, and I was braced for them ruining Feyd, but come on you robbed my boi of his sweet lil ringlets??? Heresy??? So yeah lmao put me in the mood for Dune doodles here's my trash king versions of Piter and Feyd I designed when I was like 12 🙏🏼
