So a boyband walked onto the Britain’s Got Talent stage and everyone thought they were going to sing One Direction or something typical…and then they sung Stars from Les Miserables.
This is the best thing ever. Just listen to those harmonies <3
This clip always moves me to tears. Such a poignant, memorable moment from The Muppet Show.

It’s sort of like how they say that other dimensions exist all around us, but we don’t have the ability to perceive them. That’s - That’s what I want out of a relationship. Or just life, I guess.

Caroline Dhavernas (Alana Bloom, Hannibal) Season 2
i saw your tags and i am here for you!!! translation :
"So I play Alana Bloom, who is a consulting psychiatrist for the FBI, helping to profile serial killers. I believe she is one of the only characters who actually cares about Will Graham’s mental health. Will, the protagonist, has a kind of gift that is also a curse (poisoned gift, she says, but it’s not really translatable). He is able to understand the psychology and personnality of serial killers and that is why the FBI hired him as a consultant.
I think Alana is there to make sure that Will is cared for, she reminds the audience and the other characters of Will’s vulnerabilty, caused by his exploration of a very dark side of humanity (eeek sorry this is awkward phrasing).
HORROR IN HANNIBAL
I always kept myself far away from horror movies in general, because it’s not a genre I particularly enjoy watching. When the author approached me however, I said yes because I’ve worked with him before on a tv show called Wonderfalls. He’s a very talented writer, I think he’s got a really unique voice, and I knew I could trust him not to write a gratuitously gore series and I was right. Visually, it’s magnificent. The sets, the costumes, the ligthnings are all very precise and calculated. The atmosphere is both dark and beautiful. It’s never “blood for the sake of blood”. Of course we see what happens, which is bloody in itself, but I see it more as a ballet than a horror show, really. It’s really well done.
HOW SHE GOT THE ROLE ON HANNIBAL
Weeeell, Bryan Fuller came up to me and offered me a role, just like that, and I said yes. I was very lucky, because all actors dream of having this kind of relationship with an author. Bryan is really faithful to the actors with whom he worked in the past, and he takes great pleasure in offering them the opposite role of what he’d done with them before. This is amazing because us actors love to reinvent ourselves and play new kinds of characters.
Wonderfalls was a comedy, I was playing a really grumpy person (she used marabou wich might be my favourite québécois slang btw) who didn’t want to have anything to do with anything or anyone. And now I play the psychologist - no psychiatrist sorry - with a big heart, who wants to help people and solve murders. It really is the opposite of what I played before, and I love it.
THE CHARACTER HANNIBAL
Hannibal Lecter was Alana’s professor in the past, although we’ll never see these scenes (D:). I think there’s a lot of mutual respect in their relationship. They often have diverging opinions concerning some cases seen in the series. But they still respect each other a lot.
I find Hannibal to be really interesting, because he has not yet be proven guilty. They’re all looking for the killer, and he is amongst them. Mads Mikkelsen’s acting is very subtle, precised, nuanced, and so he brings something completely different to the character, if you compare Mads’ Hannibal to Anthony Hopkins’ for example. Not to mention that Mads Mikkelsen is very handsome and sexy, so he brings that to the character as well (haha you said it Caroline, not us!).
WATCH ME PLAY ALANA BLOOM IN THE NEW SERIES HANNIBAL, JAN 6 ON ADDIK TV!”
it’s probably just been translated or someting. fun fact : Caroline usually does her own dubbing. She did in Wonderfalls :)
