SHOUTY UNPOPULAR OPINIONS ON MENTAL HEALTH:
As a perfectionist and idealist, I find it really offensive when people tell me (and others like me) to not "lose it over something stupid." First of all, the "something stupid" is usually stupid -- YES. But that doesn't mean it's actually the thing we are "losing it" over. I like to call it "death by paper-cuts." It's not one dramatic thing that makes us "lose it" but lots of little things. AKA: the straw that broke the camel’s back. When you bottle up your emotions for days, weeks, even MONTHS...eventually that bottle explodes. And usually it explodes over something "stupid." Something makes us tick and our bottle of emotions just…breaks. We can't predict it. We can break over something major and dramatic or something stupid and insignificant.
Everyone has their own mental obstacles and difficulties. I'm not trying to romanticize it or victimize myself. But everyone has their vices, you know? I can only speak for myself, but I know that there are others who struggle with this too. It is just as real as anxiety or depression. So PLEASE respect that everyone has mental struggles and although some may look stupid, you have no idea what’s going on inside someone else’s mind. *stumbles off soapbox*

Once a king or queen of Narnia, always a king or queen. May your wisdom grace us until the stars rain down from the heavens.
I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

Downton Abbey | Season 1, Episode 5
Josh: do you have the time?
Tyler: for you josh? Josh, are you joking? Are you yanking my chain? Are you joshing me? Josh. I would always make time for you. My time is precious but you are more so. Josh, you.... are a shining pearl in a sea of mediocrity. I would do anything for you. *wipes tear*
Josh: no like what time is it?
