According to psychology, closure means finality; a letting go of what once was. Finding closure implies a complete acceptance of what has happened and an honoring of the transition away from what’s finished to something new. In other words, closure describes the ability to go beyond imposed limitations in order to find different possibilities.

A group of friends, and a sprinkle of strangers, all have one thing that they need; closure. From broken hearts to broken homes, these individuals have never gotten the answers, goodbyes or acceptance needed in order to live the life that they desire. Hurt people have a habit of hurting other people and the ever-ending cycle will never cease until the root is found and cured.

So what do this group do? Use their differences to support each other while they collectively travel to face their demons. From one end of the country to the other, these young, broken people journey through new places and some old ones that carry a burden of their past. At each stop, a person gets a chance to find closure so that their life has the chance to finally begin. But what’s a road trip without some fun, mishaps, memories and things to cross of a bucket list? Honk if you see this group on the road and stay out of their way because these young people are chasing closure.
