Emily was squinting down at the sketchpad on the table in front of her. She couldn’t tell if what she was currently working on was any good or not, she was doubting quite a lot today. Looking up, she noticed them and offered a smile. “Hey – what do you think about this?” She asked, turning the book around so they could see the dress designs she was currently working on.
Tyler had been up in their head lately with everything that seemed to be going on. At least they was keeping Black Lotus up and running. So that was a plus. Hearing Emily, Tyler glanced over at the sketchpad. “It’s actually pretty good, Em.”

“I’m not sure about this whole ‘New Year, new me’ thing. What’s wrong with the old me?”
“Hey, I am with you on that one. So this whole New Year, new me thing is bullshit.”
“Yeah, just….don’t mind me,” Teagan said as she awkwardly stood up after tripping on one of the extension cords that was covered on the ground.

"Are you okay?" Tyler questioned, looking over at her for a moment. "Or is it just one of those days?"

Jamie wasn’t sure what he was expecting. They got news in here but not often from Baberton in a timely manner. Which could frustrate him when he wanted to keep up with the new -A shit - figure them out so maybe he could break out of here and kill them before he turned himself in again - just for the satisfaction. And to kill those three left in the Dollhouse of course, in case the bitch decided to let them out like Sarah. He frowned at the words, not understanding who Tyler would be talking about, and he opened his mouth to speak but then his gaze moved to the clipping that was slid towards him and everything felt like it froze. Like time just stopped dead. Frances. Franny. Fran. No. No, this had to be a trick. But he knew it wasn’t as he tore his eyes away from the article finally, feeling sick to his stomach. Not his sister. Never his sister. She didn’t deserve this. This was wrong. Jamie loved her. He stood up in a quick motion, took hold of his chair and lifted it, throwing it across the room at the wall in pure anger. “No!”
Tyler had asked to come, his aunt and uncle probably weren’t planning to come and tell Jamie. This wasn’t a trick at all, his cousin the one that he liked had been killed and it was Jamie’s fault. At least Tyler was blaming him. Even if Jamie couldn’t have known or anything. When he threw the chair, Tyler instantly stood up. “She is! And it’s your fucking fault because of whatever you did to this person!” He moved over to him not caring if Jamie punched him or anything like that.

No one had told him yet because no one had thought to inform the prison of it, so Jamie was pretty oblivious when he walked into the room. He couldn’t think of a reason that his cousin would be here and he wasn’t sure he was in the mood for it. He was tired from a fight earlier on that day with some twat in the next block. “Well, I wasn’t planning on spending my whole day here.” He stated, moving to sit down with a sigh before looking over the table at Tyler silently.
Tyler wasn’t even sure if Jamie would care. He would be surprised if he did but then again he had been sending letter to her. They had allowed him to bring in the newspaper clipping. “What happened to her was your fault.” Those words came out without him stopping them. Taking the article out of his pocket, he slid it across to him. “Frances is dead because of you.”

Tyler stood outside of the building for a moment, just looking at it. His cousin was in there, he didn’t deserve to know about Fran but he had been her brother. Sighing a little bit, he made his way inside. Checking all of his stuff before being moved into a room. He was still in complete shock and he felt like this was horrible dream. Had they attacked her because of him? Was it Jamie’s fault after all this time? Damn right it was. When he came in the room, he looked up at him. “I’m not staying that long. So let’s not get comfortable.”
“God, do I really hate this town sometimes.” She sighed out loud, standing looking past the police tape that surrounded the burned down shed in the field where the most recent death had taken place. Frances Kirk. By now news had gotten round that it was intentional and Emily felt ill thinking about it.

“I mean, yeah, some of them. He wants me to write back or visit or…” She frowned. “It’s like he thinks he can explain away murder and kidnapping and everything can go back to normal with us…. it can’t. I don’t have anything to say to him.” It was horrible because she loved Jamie. The Jamie she thought she knew.
“Or what?” He questioned, now he was worried. “Maybe you and I should go and visit him?” Tyler suggested, he didn’t mind going with her if she needed someone there. “I don’t think that is possible at all. They wouldn’t have put him away for life if they didn’t have enough evidence.”

“What do you mean?”
“Seems like you want to talk about something.”

“Okay but don’t freak out completely.” She sighed, shrugging. “Jamie’s writing me… a lot. And I don’t really know how they’re allowing it, I’ve asked them not to.”
“I’ll do my best not to freak out.” He offered, looking over at her still. “What? How much is a lot? Have you read any of them?”

“Right… got it. I guess I’ll catch her later then.”
“What is going on, Katie?”
Hadley smiled to herself as she tilted her face to the sun, closing her eyes to feel the warmth on her face knowing this would be one of the last nice days of the year. “You know, I’m really going to miss summer… Aren’t you?” She asked, turning her head to look at the person next to her.

Tyler shrugged a little bit. He had just come out here to think for a while. Glancing over at Hadley for a moment. “Yeah, I guess. I do like fall though so there is that as a plus for summer ending.”

Frances shrugged. “Yeah, no worries.” She didn’t mind, after all. She took another drag of her cigarette and then put it out. She was technically meant to smoke in here anyway. “Yeah… yeah, I guess so.” Was she?
Tyler was glad that she gave him this job. He actually liked and was good at it not to mention they were family as well. “You guess so?” He questioned, raising a brow slightly. “What’s going on?”
