The boys and I took a much need road trip/ski trip and honestly I never thought I would be that excited to get on the slopes again. Summer is brewing and honestly I can’t wait but at the same time snowboarding felt like the most control Ive had in such a long time.

“Sorry let me fix this,” he said as he straightened his shirt out and cleared his throat. “I’m Travis, I’m in a band and the sass you are giving me is amazing,”” he smiled and raised his eyebrow. “Well everyone knows what it is. It’s kind of a big deal.”

Nessa remained quiet at the man’s ramble for a few moments. Her brows knitted together in thought. The fact that he was bold enough to embarrass himself like that, was amusing enough. “Sweetheart,” She began with the condescending head tilt and smile paired up with it. “We’ll just talk about me to spare you further embarrassment, yeah?” 

“Embarrassment? Not sure how we see that as well embarrassing, but hey you think what you want to think,”he shrugged as he fixed his hair. “I live for being the center. Been doing it since I was sixteen and now here we are writing music for bands, but by all means let’s here about you.”

“Fashion week was fun, the models were hot, as always, and I feel absolutely refreshed,” Nessa rambled on to no one in particular. “I’m glad to be home, however. I did need the break and I got to go home to London and can you believe I got a standing ovation?” She sighed as she thought about the memory. “Anyways, hi, how are you?”

“The models are how, but are they this hot,” he chuckled as he took his beanie off and flipped his hair with a chuckle. “Your typical pop punk kid at heart is pretty well you know,” he said with a joking laugh. “That’s super cool you had a lot of fun though.”

Maverick’s head tilted for a moment at the man talking about March Madness. Three weeks in and the pressure was on, his team was pretty much destroying brackets left and right but the chances of winning, he wasn’t sure if it was close to call yet. So, he stood there listening to the man’s ramble, in his team hoodie nodding slowly, “Sounds pretty rough,” He chuckled. 

“I might as well make a huge fire pit and throw my bracket and money in there because that’s what it feels like right now,” he mumbled as he slid his phone out his pocket to see how much he was losing now. “It’s crazy that everyone is getting killed.”
