Swedish fact of the day;
On dagen H (3 september 1967), also known as Högertrafikomläggningen, Sweden switched from driving on the left side of the road to driving to the right side of the road.
Only 10 years prior, 83% of the population had voted against the switch in a referendum. To make the choice more popular, the Swedish government started a campaign by plastering its logo on products such as milk cartons and underwear. There was even a songcontest held about dagen H!
As most of the buses had now their doors on the wrong side, Sweden bought new ones and exported the old ones to Pakistan and Kenya.
