Ty McKinnie turned 3 today! Yay!

Hey there! It's been a while since I've done a cover but I have an excuse besides chronic laziness haha. I've been accepted to NYU!!! I've been mentally consumed with making this big change. Constant back and forth in my mind. Should I stay? Should I Go? Very stressful. This song however, has been floating around me lately. I rewatched the scene with Lizzie performing it and it reminded me of all the dreams I've wanted to chase but have always been to hesitant to take. So with that said, I'm GOING. Can't wait to see how this all turns out. I'll be sure to keep you updated with what's going on :)

7 months ago I put out Breakthrough, my first LP/Mixtape. This project was very cathartic and personal as all my music is to me. I recently checked my Mediafire page where I set up the download link for it and saw that 6 people downloaded the project! I know that this might not mean much but to me it's kinda crazy because I never thought someone would want to download MY music. These aren't covers this is MY MUSIC. My words, my stories, my melodies. These super personal songs were worth something to other people and that's so humbling and validating. I don't know who those 6 people are but whoever you are, thank you for downloading! You made me so happy today as these past couple of weeks have been filled with anxiety and stress. I love you and I hope you enjoy the new music I'm whipping up! I'm feeling all warm and fuzzy ☺️😆

Going through my Music library

iTunes rebooted itself or something and got rid of all my music so now I have to find my old stuff on my hard drive and put it back. And I’m alphabetizing my albums and singles so I won’t got through this again. My eyes hurt lol. I find it funny how diverse the artists are. It’s really cool. Everyone has their own distinct voice and thing and it’s awesome how they showcase it. Can’t wait to do the same 😁😉

I missed Music Monday but I still have a cover to share. This time it’s Say Something. I recently went to A Great Big World's concert in ATL and had a blast! Also my buddy Rell Ross request I do this as a cover so why not?! Got a lil choked up at the end. Surprised myself. Heart still a lil tender haha
