"Modern marvels and scientific breakthroughs. Exciting discoveries and limitless frontiers. Devoted friends and caring strangers. Lives and loves and souls to hold so close, one’s own heart could burst. Can you even count the splendors?"
"You only ever have to do what you're capable of doing, because by design, no matter how things appear, you'll always have enough time to do it, you'll do even better than you thought, and life will get even richer than you imagined." 😋 Photo courtesy of Betty Uy-Regala.
Art, wine, and long overdue quality time with a good old friend. I love nights like this. 😋💖
Each of us has a little light to shine. Let's be that light in someone else's darkness. 😋 Dazzle, my friends. 😄
"I stepped into the bookshop and breathed in that perfume of paper and magic that strangely no one had ever thought of bottling." - Carlos Ruiz Zafón Stopped by The Book Stop Project after a lunch date with Zeti. Amazed at the variety of the books there. Will go back here earlier tomorrow to grab a book to read and maybe exchange it with one of my own. 😋💖📚
The first Feast I attended was the 2014 Grand Easter Feast, right after first attending the Reinvent Holy Week Retreat. I remember intently listening and tearing up through all the talks in PICC. I watched in awe at the worship leaders as they sang with such fervor onstage at the SM MOA Arena. I dreamed that one day, I may be onstage in that very venue. Fast forward to this year's Holy Week Retreat, when I was called to serve as an actor. It was pretty daunting to find out that I was to deliver a long monologue in front of a huge Good Friday crowd, at the SM MOA Arena, no less, and with only four days of preparation. Mary Magdalene, one of Jesus' close companions, had to recall the horrific events that transpired on the day of the crucifixion. Bro Bo said in yesterday's talk to spread gratitude on social media. I give credit to my fellow servant actors for the support, as well as the close friends who prayed for me prior to this service. I'm grateful as well to Sir Dennis from my TP workshops and Mark, plus my TAP family, for giving me the confidence to able to do this. Thank you also to the amazing Guico family for inviting me to the Feast and the retreat for the first time during Holy Week 2014. I offered this service to Bro Ceci, a late La Salle brother, who was one of my favorite storytellers and wanted to see me onstage for the longest time. Yesterday was for you, as I stood alone on a stage that I had been dreaming to be on. After so many questions and directions regarding my core gifts, this one-time performance is now one of the ones I hold close to my heart. We perform not because we want applause; we perform because we want Him to be applauded. All for the greater glory of the Audience of One. Photo courtesy of Light of Jesus Family's Facebook page.

Ang Kumpisalan. Today's shoot for 1 of 3 short films of Kerygma TV's Holy Week Special.
Happy 1st year anniversary to my #FEBiB16 family, Lovelife batch 16! I did not want to take much photos earlier during our party, because I wanted to spend the time just being with the people. So this photo with the Tree of Love that I made as part of our party decor was the one decent photo I have. This tree is basically just like us. God is the trunk and roots, while we are the branches, spreading out in so many directions. Just like in my testimonial earlier, I appreciated how our differences are what kept us together, and how each of our talents are encouraged, maximized, and celebrated. As I am your "safe person," thank you for being my safe place as well. I learned how to wear my heart on my sleeve because of you. Cheers to all of you! 💖
Thank you for the reminder, Mr. Disney. 😋 Photo courtesy of Em de Oño.
Even if the sun is lurking behind the clouds, you know it's there because you can still see the beauty in the light. Parang love lang yan. Di mo man makita, alam mong andyan pa rin. Hahaha. Okay. I'll stop now. 😄
Found a black-and-white version of this photo in yesterday's Feast bulletin, with me almost getting cut off. Found this original photo on Facebook, with me finally in full view. Despite the circumstances after our re-auditions, I feel blessed and thankful that I got to sing with people I used to admire from afar ever since I was just a mere Feast attendee. And I realized a huge purpose as to why I am where I am. It's crazy amazing how God does that. 😋💖 There was no caption in the photo in the bulletin, but there was quote below it saying, "Pour 100% of your energy in developing what you're good at." Makes such a very good point, and it drives me to keep going. It suddenly inspired me to write something. Maybe I'll post it in my blog when I'm done. Re-learning how to manipulate paint and water this afternoon. While wandering around Craft Central yesterday, I wondered how I would've turned out if I didn't leave my Fine Arts course after my first year of college. So many "what ifs", but then I stopped questioning myself because I do believe that that particular redirection couldn't have come at a much better time. But now, using a cheap watercolor set, I decided to take some time to see if I still have some visual arts in me. Very rusty start, but let's see how this goes. Those 3 words helped me get through last year. I believe these same words can get me through this year as well. (Lousy writing, I know. Must get a finer brush.)
"Your will above all else My purpose remains The art of losing myself in bringing You praise..." Taken during last Sunday's GiG (Gathering in God) while serving with the worship team. Today's service was another humbling experience that was also a blessing in itself. Both were reminders as to why I maximize what I have been gifted with, and Who I do this for. Thank You for every opportunity. Photo courtesy of Donna Juliano.
"Set the bar high, but not too high. Reach for the stars, but with your toes on the ground. And never, ever stop dreaming." ☺💖
Quality time with myself. I love it when I get to have these quiet moments so I can write. Setting the bar a little higher this year. ☺
