1. i promise, in an rp server, everyone is as much of an awkward nerd as you. you are not going to be crucified in the garden for being a bit shy
2. disboard is a great place to find to find rp servers, so is tumblr “look up *insert fandom* rp” and you’ll probably find one. if not, make one! i’m sure you have friends who want to join
when i say get off ai, i don’t mean “rp with humans but keep ai as a sidechick”, i mean get off ai. it’s an autocorrect powered by stolen writing, get your ass off
also i saw someone say we should be having kids only rp with c.ai because it’s “safer”. we are not letting kids have formative experiences with a fucking robot
A former vampire prince turned sassy gay Assassin, he was one of my favourite Characters to play as in DND. A spoiled rich kid trying to make it in the real world. Just wish his hair wasn’t such a pain to draw (haha)
Respected and rather well liked among the other Olympians (except Meryl)
After the death of his sister at the hands of mortal Soldiers during the Trojan war and Vash losing his left arm to the same soldiers, he became fiercely protective/possessive of his twin brother
Some time after the end of the Trojan War he built a giant "cage” under Mt. Olympus and locked Vash inside it for nearly a Millennium.
When any of the other Olympians asked him regarding Vash’s whereabouts he’d tell them his brother was travelling through the mortal realm, which seemed to shut the majority of the other gods up regarding this issue and the Golden Cage beneath their feet remained a secret only he and Vash knew about.
After Vash managed to escape the the golden Cage with the help of Meryl and Roberto, rather than an eternal Winter like Demeter in the Myth of Persephone & Hades, Nai, overcome with rage, created a giant war that would slowly spread across all of ancient Greece.

[More ramblings about Nai’s design under the cut.]
Nai’s Design as you may have gathered is very much based on your typical Greek Hoplite Soldier
He was supposed to also wear a helmet but i was so proud of how the hair had turned out that I did not want to cover it up haha.
Around the time that this story takes place in, classical greece, bronze armours like these had actually fallen out of fashion in favour of iron ones so I just like to think that Nai, being over 1000 years old, is just very traditional or never fully mentally moved on from the Trojan War so he kept his old Bronze Plate Armour all those years while still adopting the newer Hoplite Warfare system (which used spears and Phalanx formations in comparison to the open battle fields and sword fights of the Mycenean Age/the Trojan War)
As for Nai‘s spear, an actual Dory could be up to 4 meters high, especially in the case of Macedonian ones. But making him run around with one of those would be impractical for many reasons as you may assume. The half-moon shaped spikes right underneath the actual Spear‘s spike is the part I stole from ancient greek hunting spears. The point of them was to keep wild animals like boars at a safe distance from you. Because boars, even if you pierce their skull with the actual spear‘s tip would just keep on running towards you even if it meant impaling their own brain on the entire spear Dracula Style. If you look closely you can kind of see it on the Meleager Sarcophagus.
Lives pretty much in the Sanctuary of Nysa by himself but gets occasionally visited by other Members of the Cult, his younger brother Livio or people in need of the Twin Gods' Blessings.
A (Kinda?) normal Priest living in his tiny Sanctuary offside from Civilisation on a small Island in the Aegean sea called Nysa.
His Duties for the most Part consist of Prayers and Sacrifices for the Gods And keeping the Temple and Statue of the Twins clean and occasionally doing a Ritual on thr Request of the odd Visitor.
Did not expect one of the Gods he is serving to be dropped off at his Temple by the goddess Meryl and her Satyr companion Roberto and to be stuck Body-Guarding said God but oh well here he is.
May Or May Not Regret Giving Vash That Short Chiton.

Additional Ramblings about the lore and WW’s design under the cut
This is btw what a Penennular Fibula looked like and I only now noticed that WW is wearing it wrong in my drawing 🥲 The needle is supposed to rest on the Bow of the brooch and not in the opening in the middle.
Also this Fanfic takes place approximately around the time of the Peloponnesian War (431-404 BCE), however Penennular Fibula were primarily worn by either Celts and Romans. So as you can tell while I am trying my best with historical research and keeping things somewhat historically accurate, there are still creative liberties being taken for this AU.
As for why this AU and Wolfwood‘s Sanctuary are called "in the Plain of Nysa“: It‘s actually a reference to the Homeric Hymn to Demeter, aka the most complete version of the Myth of Hades and Persephone we have. In this Hymn it says
In other words it was "in the Plain of Nysa“ in which Persephone was kidnapped by Hades. On a fun note, Nysa is actually not a real place anywhere in Greece. It was instead meant to symbolise "a place far away“ the same way we tend to say "in a kingdom far away“ when starting to tell a fairytale. However that did not stop some Ancient Greeks from guessing where Nysa might be located. Some thus point it to be situated somewhere in Macedon or today‘s Balkans, others claimed it was around the area of the Black Sea or…. That Nysa was on the Island Naxos. Which is why in early drafts the Sanctuary was meant to be located on Naxos itself but as I have never been to Naxos in my life it felt disrespectful to the actual people who live there so I just changed it to the Sanctuary of Nysa being on a lone non-existent Island near Naxos instead.
On a smaller note Nysa was also said to have been the Birthplace of Dionysos, with his name meaning "God of Nysa“. In other Stories however Nysa was the name of a mountain on which Dionysus had started his cult.
I am also taking some creative liberties with how Priesthood functioned in ancient Greece. Unlike how it works in Catholicism and other religions, Priests in ancient Greece were not a separate social class. Heck apart from a few Cults and sanctuaries, being a priest was not even seen as a main occupation of job for that reason. And a priest usually wasn‘t chosen by some council, but in many cases you just paid a certain amount of money to become a priest. They did not even have an official attire like catholic or shinto priests do nowadays. However they were still expected to dress somewhat formally compared to WW‘s Exomis, which is basically the ancient greek equivalent of a priest showing up in shorts, flip flops and an old Tshirt.
The Twins Cult in this AU is by the way HEAVILY based on the Eleusinian Mysteries, aka the Mystery Cult dedicated to Demeter and Persephone. I will some day make a post dedicated to them and priesthood in ancient Greece as a whole.
And yes I still fucking hate drawing feet and shoes.
He, Tesla and Nai were born from the stars and were raised by the goddess of wisdom Rem, when they descended upon Mt. Olympus.
During the Trojan war he and Tesla were both kidnapped by a group of Trojan soldiers. Tesla later died at the hands of these soldiers while Vash had lost his left arm and nearly joined his sister in an early grave because of the torture they put him through before Nai found him.
His lost arm had gotten replaced by a metal one that Brad (Hephaistos) had built.
While Nai grew to resent mortals for what they did to his siblings, Vash learnt to move on and embrace humanity in its fullest, the good and the bad. "
Because Vash failed to see the warning signs of Nai's growing paranoia, he did not see it coming when Nai locked him up inside the "golden cage", a hidden room in the heart of Mt. Olympus.
Spent over 800 years locked away inside the golden cage with only Nai being able to visit him.
Eventually managed to escape with the help of Meryl (Artemis) and Roberto (A Satyr) and flee to a small sanctuary dedicated to him and Nai in the plain of Nysa.
There he meets the sanctuary's only priest, Wolfwood and slowly begins to realise just how much Nai has corrupted the cult over the past 8 centuries with its followers only seeing peace as either a direct result or mere by-product of war.
pretends to be a mortal temple servant named Eriks while hiding in the sanctuary of Nysa.
spends his day either helping Wolfwood in the temple or helping the people in the town near the sanctuary.
claims his healing powers were a gift he recieved from the gods as a cover-up

So me and some friends on discord came up with a Geraskier Persephone au with Jask as Persephone and Geralt as Hades so I tried to draw Gerhades for once.
