And I finally won. It’s a long story, but the abridged version is there was a few rouge vampires hunting humans up in Alaska and Deputy Dingdong needed professional help hunting them. Blade wasn’t available, so they hired me which is why it took two months to get all of them. My advice is to never follow in my footsteps because the stress of finishing a History of Supers paper when an pissed off family of vampires is after you is a lot to handle. But, the past is the past and I’m here now so it’s all good.

Anyway. What’s up, Phoenix? I’m Sonny for those of you who don’t know me yet. I like sunsets, waffles, and bubble baths which are coincidentally three great date ideas so feel free slide in to my DMs and we’ll pick a time to chill. If you do know me, just tell me you missed me and I’ll be happy.

Things I probably shouldn’t forget yet somehow still do: getting food is a pain in the ass, and it’s especially a pain in the ass at 11:30 at night when I can’t just grab stuff off of a shelf or find an interpreter to rattle off my menu choices. All that said, online ordering was a gift designed with me in mind.

Swear on my life, this house down the street already has it’s Christmas lights up. Are you just gonna skip over Halloween like that? Not gonna eat any Turkey? Phoenix doesn’t even have any snow, what’s the point of celebrating Christmas over here? And this fucking early. Wake me up when the holidays end.

Maybe they have to put up extra lights to make up for the lack of snow! But I totally agree with you about being way too early. I’m mostly okay with people skipping over turkey day, but not Halloween. It’s kind of like they’re painting a target on their house for angry trick or treaters to egg them or something. Not sure that was the smartest plan. Groups of children hopped up on sugar could destroy the world if they're left unsupervised.

So that’s why all those boys were in your yard. Extra timely pop culture reference! If that was sarcasm, you’re in for it anyway, because I don’t have anyone to talk to about Big Brother lately, and now you won that lottery. They’re doing an online only fall edition of big brother and it’s so low budget and awesome that I can’t stop watching it. I thought I’d be tired of it after watching last season all summer, but here I am anyway. Plus there are a bunch of cool new shows that are out. Have you been watching The Good Place? Or Westworld? Or even Pitch is kinda cool even though I’m not really into the whole baseball thing, but I’m a supporter of women busting down barriers anywhere they want to. So, uh, yeah, mostly just TV watching for me, which you probably could have guessed. Are you ready for Supergirl to come back? I’m not entirely sold on the new season yet, but I’m going to give it a shot anyway. I’m hoping that it’s going to be better than I’m expecting.

Yes it was rhetorical, but it’s okay to answer anyway! I don’t think it was from the animals. They’re more damaged then anything. Like literally all in pieces. Doubt an animal strong enough could do that.

Some animals are ridiculously strong. Like have you ever watched an elephant? I saw a documentary, and they can lift like 700 pounds with its trunk alone. I don’t know that there were any running around though, so I guess there’s more going on out there. I’m glad I mostly stay inside.

Is it Friday yet? Can you tell that I hate the beginning of each week? And I’m going to assume that it’s safer inside my own home. Pretty much won’t be going out anymore than usual. Good thing we’re stocked on food. Saw some pretty bad damages on a couple of buildings in town, and it made me sad because people lost their work too. Anyway, how is everyone? Pretty okay? Good.

Has anyone had any experience with a service animal for anxiety? I’ve done plenty of research on Google, but I’d like to, um, get a real-life opinion if it’s at all possible.

I wish I could give you some more info, but I bet we’ve read the same stuff from google. Most things seem pretty positive about it, though. Not that I’m telling you anything that you didn’t already know. In hindsight, this reply is pretty pointless and I’m sorry.

PROMPT #004 - HEADCANONS

Unsurprisingly, Tyson would be completely lost without technology. Not only is he a TV addict, but his phone is always within arm’s reach. He doesn’t even use it to talk to people really, but he keeps his life on it all the same.

The year that Luna left for college while Tyson finished high school was the hardest of his life. He felt like part of himself was missing even though they still talked regularly. He never told her about it though, because he didn’t want her to worry.

Tyson is interested in documentary film making and camera work. He likes being able to show people his views without having to be the focal point of it. Even though is powers could help him get footage that no one else could, he doesn’t feel like it’s right to use.

When people express interest in spending time with him, he’s genuinely surprised. It’s only recently that his circle of friends has expanded beyond Luna and people he only knows online.

Could live off of cereal.

Doesn’t know how to take compliments.

Tyson has accidentally been sat on while he was invisible a number of times, and still hasn’t found a good way out of the situation without things being awkward for everyone involved. 

Doesn’t talk to his parents often since they’re always away, but he doesn’t hold it against him. He used to miss them a lot when he was growing up, but now he realizes they have a life of their own to live.

His favorite holiday is Christmas, but Halloween is a close second. It’s less because it’s his and Luna’s birthday or about costumes, and more because it’s a good holiday to get people to sit around and watch movies with him.

Uhm, everything, I guess. I get to disappear, which is sort of what I always wanted to do when I was embarrassed anyway. I totally get to now.
