Small Things My Religion Has Helped Me With:
Forgiveness:
I’m someone who holds grudges super easily, and recently had a ton of stuff happen with some friends. After praying on it, I realized I needed to forgive everyone, and then God would help me move on, so I did just that. I said “God, even if they haven’t apologized, I forgive (name) and (name) because I know you would want me to. Please help me move on and lead with love.”
After that, I was no longer bitter and started wishing those people a good life.
Peace:
I’ve had super bad anxiety for my whole life to the point that I’ve canceled trips and held myself back from so many things to try and manage it. I started begging God for help. At first, it only worked well enough to make me feel like I wouldn’t have a meltdown. After growing my connection with God, however, I started not feeling any at all!
Love:
I have a problem of loving to gossip and hate on people. Not everyone, but some people are just mean and I feel the need to talk about them. I still struggle with this a bit, but I’ve gotten much better about it. Even just on online sites, I’ve stopped hating on people because I know God wouldn’t like it, and I feel so much better about myself and less judgmental. I’m choosing love over hate.
That’s all for now! I’ll do more later!
John walked towards the trail at the end of the street. A flickering light on a building was the last source before a dark trail. 🌲
The moon gave some light above the blackest treetops, The atmosphere was pale, yet Johns thoughts were bright and colorful. 🌙🌲
he walked the trail, following the moon. crossing through a neighborhood on a silent Sunday night. he glimpsed at his phone for the time, it was 10:10 and a gust of wind pushed against him. ⏰
Arriving at the park, he began walking the trail along the lake. Passing by a group of joyful people, he looked down at the stone path in deep thought. wondering if his life would return to normal.
John walked down the boardwalk in the direction of the moon, towards a flickering light at the bridge where he tossed the evil token.
A sinister presence surrounded him as he noticed a dark figure approaching the side of his vision, he turned with panic as the figure passed. It was the shadow of a man walking on the elevated hill beside him.
The light flickered off the water as he walked away spooked. To comfort the anxiety he played a daily prayer from his phone. As he listened a streak of light caught his attention a shooting star had revealed itself.

God says: I’m reshaping what life tried to distort.
Don’t fear the unknown. I’m already there. —God

Happiness is a choice, not a result. Nothing will make you happy until you choose to be happy. No person will make you happy unless you decide to be happy. Your happiness will not come to you. It can only come from you.
