Lake Superior beckoned but the winds of November didn't come early this time.

Something I’ve never seen anyone talk about is that Wylan plays his flute on the street while STARVING.
Let me explain. Playing a flute requires a lot of breath control and therefor breath.
When someone hasn’t eaten and their body is weakened, everything makes them lightheaded. When you don’t have enough air you become lightheaded.
When you are weak and using a considerable amount of strength and air to play the flute, you are going to get LIGHTheaded.
Oooh, a busking post. 😍 I haven't actually talked about busking on this busking blog in so long.
Anyways, ditto. I was playing flute on the street for food in my early 20s. I wouldn't say I was all-the-way starving, but certainly hungry. At that point though, I had a degree in flute playing so...... I could play the flute in any condition. Hungry, sick (seriously, played my junior recital barely recovered from bronchitis), half asleep, simultaneously reading a book, you get the picture. When flute playing is your default state, you can do it under most circumstances. I just figured Wylan was the same.
Also if you find a nice awning to play under, you can have great sound even while playing softly.
And often you don't want to be playing too loudly anyway because nearby shops will complain and possibly ask you to leave.
Ok plant people, how does this work? The entire row of cherry trees has finished blooming and this one branch hanging off this tree by a thread is suddenly covered with blooms.
It's morning in the American Northeast and there's a new Noah Kahan album to listen to. I'm not ready
If anyone sees this, reblog or comment with the lyrics that made you cry.

Can you play an instrument? (Any skill level)
Yes (which one? 👀)
No
Nuance (up to interpretation)
I’m just curious how many people at some point in their lives have played/learned to play an instrument of any kind.
I included a nuance button bc I know there might be some folks who might be like “well I played the recorder in grade school but idk if that counts” — count it if you want or hit nuance if you’re unsure! 😊
To be clear, if you studied an instrument to any level of proficiency, even if you’re out of practice now, please select yes!
Reblog with your instrument, if you wish 🙏🏼 Or just for more accurate results
Boosting again! I’ve been enjoying reading everyone’s responses so far, it brings me joy to see music has reached so many lives!! 😊🫶🏼

and then you will find that home is not home anymore.
Then you will really be in trouble.
As long as you stay here, you can always think:
one day I will go home."
Hmm, palm Sunday. Maybe I should go to church.
