How do you feel about all the people that like to ship you and mirio together? Mostly cause they think you two make a cute couple.

(Ua-mirio) A familiar face phases onto the wall or Tamaki's room. In this lockdown, things weren't very lively. Except for this one. "Heeeeey!!"
The Tamaki from before would’ve squeaked, flustered, and hurriedly reached for Mirio, confused and panicked.
This time however, he only gave an empty look to Mirio’s face and turned back under his blankets. He felt his chest hurt.
Mirio…could use his quirk again? That was amazing…
Yet, he couldn’t muster any happiness and chose to bury himself deeper in the pain he felt from being hurt from what happened with Kaminari…
It hurt…it hurt so much…now he was completely unwanted. Ironically, only now he saw the point behind Mirio’s anger: the blond was never powerless, quirk or no quirk, he was the same bright Mirio.
But…
It didn’t matter anymore…it didn’t matter at all now…
Mirio blinked, Tamaki’s unusual reaction puzzling him.
“Tama?”
He phased completely through the wall, dressed fully in his hero suit - the only clothes he could wear while phasing - and walked up to the other, concern clear on his face.
“Are you okay?”
Tamaki flinched, curled up in his blankets.
“I’m fine”he stubbornly stated as he remained bundled up in the blankets.
There was no way he could properly face Mirio, as he was.
A useless…person nobody could want
Mirio knew that excuse. So he just sighed and crossed his legs, gently spinning before sitting on the floor, his back to the bed.
“Okay. I know what that means.” He informed the other.
“When you’re ready to talk, I’ll be here. Its no rush.”
Tamaki sniffled weakly. “I…nobody wants me Mirio…you were right…you’re strong and powerful, you can fight for yourself…”
Tamaki curled deeper so his voice was muffled. “Now…you have your quirk back, so…”
So you don’t need me
Mirio frowned, staring resolutely ahead. Hm.
“No. That’s not right.” He said, curling up and hugging his knees. “You feel that nobody wants you because you’re stubborn, Tamaki.”
He turned slightly to the side to face the other. Hiis eyes were serious, and he showed no trace of the sun that resided inside his soul.
“You’re stubborn to admit you’re wrong. You’re stubborn to change your ways. You’re stubborn to evolve and be stronger. It doesn’t matter what I tell you now- about how you’re wrong”
Mirio moved again to sit facing Tamaki, crosslegged.
“In the end its all about if you want to accept.”
Tamaki inhaled sharply. He knew that Mirio made the logical point…
He felt weak and didn’t grow, he stayed where he was out of uncertainty and it even caused a split between him and Mirio…the one wanting him to grow.
Gosh, what did he do to deserve the people he had around him…all brave, kind, and resolute. Meanwhile, there was him…he couldn’t do this at all.
“Mirio..I..I really messed up…”Tamaki confessed in a small voice. “De-Kaminari-san…they…it didn’t work and I..”
I’m scared.
I don’t want any more affection
It’ll only lead to more hurt.
“I don’t know…how I’m supposed to face the world.”
Mirio looked down.
He went looking for comfort in others. Tamaki did too, as it was only fair.
Why did it sting…?
Looking up again, determined to not show his discomfort about the subject, Mirio looked at Tamaki.
“You face it like you always have.” He responded, solemn. “You face it with caution, but bravely. You face it with the confidence you gained all these years.”
Acting without thinking, his hand moved to rest on the lump of Tamaki’s covered up body. Mirio swallowed.
“You face it with me.”
“You..? I...”
Tamaki let his head peek out of the blankets. His face was still a mess and yet-
His heart thudded painfully in his chest.
“Mirio...what are we now? Is there...”
He warily looked up as he licked his lips
“...is there anything left of us?”
So you like blondes? We should ask Mirio if he knows any blondes to set you up on a date with!
